The sultry night dispelled the light warm breeze, As he snoozed on the hot sand of the beach: She smiled and giggled, a dance of a tease, Till she flew up quite far beyond his reach. He moaned; desire urged him to fly with her. Could he zoom towards scintillating stars? Achieve a love along the milky way, Add her in his voluminous memoirs? Search for passion in dark night's misty ray? Summer silence held him in tangled blur.

What a reverie it was, it’s a pity you didn’t get to zoom to the stars. Lovely and romantic Victor… Belle

Wow. Did not see that one coming. You just can't stop showing off. Age has not slowed down your sense of fun. You old romantic you. Hope you eventually make it up there amongst the stars. If you go before me I will be watching the night sky for you. Very best regards David in NZ

Victor, you have created a stunning poem. In the summertime calm of twisted rods, your wonderful metaphors create a crystal-clear image!

Much revelry in this reverie, Victor--though short lived. But that is how dreams are. Creative thoughts!

I know you don't reply to comments, but I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed reading this one. Even in a dream, he was afraid to join her. More is the pity.

So he levitated up into the air travelling on the wings of a beautiful reverie, chasing his love ! Even a reverie is half good as a real experience... ! Lovely presentation Victor

Deep and profound, wrapped in the connotation of summer silence of tangled bars, with the splendid metaphors creating the vision crystal clear! Awesome Victor, love the interplay of words and imageries... Silpika
