The Goggle-Goop of Neglect

Forgotten quanta
the neglecton an anyon
zero in the math—
particles once discarded
unlock quantum computers

Rising unobserved
they shimmer in golden glass
zig-zagging unseen—
how was brilliance unnoticed
in gobble-goop of a yawn

I too drift unheard
neglected in crowded rooms
my pulse fading slow—
a particle in shadow
longing to be recognized

Skinny dipping soaked in bleach, albino by design 
Eyes burning, -Something in the way- future gives a sign
No pacifier needed, when remuneration’s on the line 
Keep calm it’s just rehearsal, will sink lower another time 

Born too soon, umbilical’s frayed by a toothless bite
Lure instills urge to swim, bypassing baptismal rite
-Come as you are- take a breath, be sure to stay airtight 
Nevermind the grunge, it’s less dirty with a soul of white

Zero in on bait, the watermark hides a sell by date
Perhaps-stay away- not much change at going rate 
Don’t lose sight of legal tender, it won’t always sate
Take a breather, rest assured, if lungs don’t reinflate 

Swimming in circles chasing what is never truly ours
Set in ripples, a reflection of mankind’s weakest hour ?
The dollar breaks, revealing depths we’ve yet to scour
In the murk, no god we trust, just a bill we all empower

Footsteps

"Show me your marks, my dear.", he asked his son,
Having not even passed his subjects one.
"Dad, I got zero in math
Following your trodden path",
The son replied hiding his feelings none.

Zero Value

I liked this little story more than your expectation. To explain it, we knew that zero means nothing. In fact, in mathematical philosophy, zero has a high important value. For example, without the zero, many of the advanced technology we see and use (PC is a clear example) could not be achieved. Computers do not understand a single letter, but human do. Basically computers recognize a letter as (000001110000) and another one as (10001110) where 0 or 1 here are closed or open of an electric circle.  In mathematical economics, in equations, zero means a lot! I will end this comment by writing that zero in term of money is better than negative (debt) digit. In other word, the statement of your account in the bank when it showing zero is better than showing (- 1000).

The half of love
will ink a card,

Zero in the nest -
sad but true.
Still,
love is.

Old age,
the hand of time -
the sky is too high.
The girl does cry,
or the boy,
when left sans
a warm hand.

Or to die is kind -
both fly
at the same time.

Little White Feet

Little white paws, running thru my halls,
opening all the closets, chasing red balls..
Little white feet on the window sill,
studying the birds as they hop and trill.
Hoping to go out, zero in for a kill,
devour a little birdie and leave it's bill..
Little white feet avoiding the puddles,
hates to get wet, prefers warmth and cuddles..
Little white feet awaiting their massage,
likes the motorized tool, not my effleurage..
Little white feet perched for a treat,
awaiting some temptations or marshmallow so sweet.
Little cat feet now groomed and neat,
at rest in my lap and quietly asleep.

Nothingness

It's hard to zero in on nothingness;

That word, spun by my thoughts, does not compute.

Was born to see and feel a 'somethingness';

My senses all are mired within that root-

And empty, zero, naught- are not acute.

For nothingness, I think of cosmic space

Beyond known stars and planets- what I'd face!

So difficult to think about a void

Without some sides or borders that embrace.

The more I think- the more thoughts get destroyed!

Bypassing Intimacy

a buffer between the you and the me
the constant mediator chaperoning

criticizing with its glare and pursed lips
negating the realm of possibilities

as it downplays the fragranced essence of hinting
opting to zero in on the desolation of nothingness

and that buffer between you and me
only grows stronger and louder

If you pop off like so Duh you’ll get carbonated by the greater leader/
Who’s lewd and balks will infuse and let loose the Dr. pepper/
True shrewd walks through new hues shake up and fizz out/
Who knew soft drink talks brewed late would diffuse and flatten down/
A few could have caught a case while flapping around/
There’s a new juice to use as you grew your own fruits /
To improve clues to truths of uncouth abuse  /
How you’ve misused the news and stayed true to loops of untruth/
Life continues in new shoes with cues to choose moves for your crew/
Lives renew his aiming from hereon in we’re here to zero in/
Peer on in at the position I’m a hero in /
I’ve never been as near or within a jeer on sin/
Freer I blend gas and gear up a poster man for my own loved ones/
Disband from that brand with new planned action no acts spun/
Just realism with no love from realization of the matter of faction

Christmas In Chicago

The wind chill is thirty-two degrees below zero in Chicago
Snow is being pushed around by plows that are burying cars
The wind off the lake is adding to our discomfort, but taxis are moving
Marshall Fields is open, and there are Christmas carolers
Gorgeous nativity scenes light up windows

Power of Zero

Power of zero, in monk mode
Ready to walk away
Content always in God’s abode
Joyous, blissful sun ray 

Here, within this dream life
With love’s elixir rife
The hermit side steps strife

Zillion zitherns of zirconia
Zinging on zephyrs for the zazzy
Zemni zealous zeal for Zambonis,

always the surprise

I'm a bird of prey creme de la creme.
On air, I'm like a heat-seeking missile,
a kamikaze airplane swooping down
on prey with lethal precision. 
My large eyes, as sharp as an Eagle's.

Tell the Eagle I said so! 

I can also spot and zero-in on a prey 
from thousands of feet high!
I'm a solitary speed demon of a bird.
Don't even think Cheetah; I'm so fast
that cat moves like a tortoise to me.

Land or air, I am indeed the fastest 
animal on the face of the planet.
Pardon my vaingloriousness!
Did I mention I'm a cannibal, too?
 Yes, I feed on other birds.

 I'm often called the "duck hawk" 
because...well, I enjoy duck meat!
I sexually mature at the age of three.
I typically breed from March to May.
I don't build my own nests, I simply use 
existing vegetation to lay my eggs.

There's incredible power in my sturdy wings
An indefatigable traveler, I get around
the world, spotted in every continent!
I'll repeat, in case you've already forgotten...
I'm the fastest living thing alive.

Winter In Boston

Last Monday he went up to Boston
He took his big sweater in case
Now it's below zero in Boston
The poor man got frozen in place

Oh, send back his body from Boston
We'll bury him here in the sand
It's warmer down here in Austin
He wasn't a travellin' man

He thought he could make himself great wealth
Instead he got froze to a door
Didn't know nothin' 'bout weather
He thought that's what sweaters was for
