Does a broken mirror reflect again?
Are we shadowed by our past and sins?
Can fallen flowers return to branches?
Are our traumas rippling avalanches?
Is fate a tightrope we must follow?
Can we control our chain of morrows?
Is our past a ball and chain we drag?
Is it a burden or a flag?
What is faith and what is soul?
Do they restrain our lives and goals?
What is God? Is He near?
Does He even know we’re here?
Why do these questions cloud our mind?
Are they common to man and womankind?

IN HIM PERFECTED- I am
I am in Him perfected
I wonder if I fly in heaven
I hear the sound of the angels wings
I see the lion sleeping next the sleeping lamb
I want longevity of life, to see Jesus descend from the heavens
I am in Him perfected
I pretend to be invisible
I feel triumphant
I touch the hearts of the clouds
I worry all men will die
I cry about mistreatment of womankind
I am in Him perfected
I understand we live forever in heaven or hell
I say I believe in Him who created all things
I dream only in black and white
I try to love everyone
I hope and pray for continual soften heart
I am in Him perfected

Note
One lonely day,
My thoughts wide and far,
You went out of your way
To put a few stars
To drive out the dark
Thoughts from my troubled mind
And left instead a spark
Igniting faith in womankind.

Behold thee men of Castle Ballyclogh!
Our weary souls doth tread once more to war,
To march the winds of death and wintry snow.
Most likely fate opens thee heaven’s door.
O Lord, prepare this beast, with dreaded teeth,
to tear the flesh from enemy of dusk.
Grant us the victory - a manelike wreath,
the snap of crocodile, a mammoth’s tusk.
Kiss kindred ghosts of womankind and child.
Thy mind remains on course - don’t hear their cry.
Ever sweeter tis your return...be riled,
Of readiness for battle’s blood. Don’t die!*
Once more thee men of Castle Ballyclough,
We march the winds of death and wintry snow!

Margaret Atwood's: The Testaments
Offering to surf a periwinkle wave with broad sets of sprawls,
entertaining a receptive ivory sea of crested puffiness,
wooing anointing doves to joyously immerse creation,
toward its pure dawning rise of scriptures souls.
***I read some reviews, it's an intriguing read into the insights of womankind bearing upon a prophetic assemblage of the impending future -- I preface a muse entitled 'The Testaments' as a colorful introductory honoring her book sort-of-speak for newcomers -- unless they read 'Handmaid's....'

It's been proven that sex is the leading cause of people
A mind-blowing discovery that might result in sex being illegal
To restrict its activity
Put people in captivity
It's the scourge of mankind and womankind and beagles

What is Truth?
That old unanswered question.
I know when I'm telling a lie though.
I lie not. There I was
minding my own business,
making myself a complimentary cup of coffee
in the hotel lobby when
this man leaves his seat
and stands right next to me, glaring.
"Where is she?"
He wore a workman's knitted skull cap.
He pierced me with steely blue eyes.
He was tall and strongly built.
I was about to say "Who is she?"
but thought better of it.
He'd think I was questioning his judgment
in posing such a question.
"I've been looking for her over a year now."
I thought I should say something reassuring.
"Just wait a little. She'll soon be back."
"Who do you bloody well think you are?
What gives you the right to say such a thing?"
"Nothing personal," I blurted. "Nothing personal.
I took "she" to refer generically to all womankind."
I think it took him four seconds to ingest my words,
by which time I had vanished down a corridor.

Deep in the costume, exposure
Deep in the constitution, lawlessness

Deep in motherhood, breastlessness
In the paternity, womankind
In the smiles, sorrowfulness
Inside the forces, idleness

What due is this, O feline fierce,
for what affront thus penalized
with calibrated nips that pierce
for soft caress unauthorized?
T’was you with brazen move unasked
who burnished coat upon my limb.
What dire affect iconoclast
did stir your feral feline whim?
The cat is oft like womankind
beyond man's feeble intellect,
a primal spirit state of mind,
requiring manners circumspect.

Some days the trouser snake wont sleep,
he has a simple mind, to take me to the place
men like, that rests with womankind
And in a dance when only twenty, tight
trousers were the rage, young waist and
body pressed to mine he popped out of
his cage
His size increased to take the stage while
girls at side did giggle, to see this creature
kick and jump, to ‘Beatles’ fiesty jiggle
So I sat down while he stood up, I cursed
and swore to kill him, while maiden fair
with thighs of gold pretended not to see him
And later when I walked her home, and asked
her for a date, she answered yes and coyly said,
”Don’t forget your mate”

Condemned by God to slither thus
for tempting Eve to bite
the snake at first stood tall and proud
and always was upright.
Alas since then he has to hide
prepared to make his strike,
tempting again the fairer sex
who led him to this plight.
So legless, withered, long or short
condemned by female pride
the snake is ready to grow tall
and find a place to hide.
For when his moment cums at last
he's proud and tall and strong,
then spits with pleasure at the ones
temptation strung along.
And thus it satisfies the need
inbred in all it’s kind
by bringing forth the fruits of love
......to feed all womankind!

Shapes affect our lives in ways
That do not seem to accumulate;
For often we are unaware
How readily shape can stimulate.
He crossed the street unaware
Of spinal curves observed
Of shoulders square of angled chin,
What womankind deserves!
What caught your fancy as you combed
The world for your great lover,
Fittingly mounds, shapely rounds
Beneath the predator’s hover!

I was told
My tears were crock tears.
Injured wounds
Bled and cried inside
Still I heard:
You and I are free
Held by three:
You, me, spirit
Who is it?
Gender fabulous
Gender blind
Hurting womankind?
Cast a smile
No crowd a frowning
Clear your mind
Hold firm to winnings
Take fresh breaths
Take no hostages
That last breath
Will be of courage
Murderers
Called out by The Source
Serves one Force-
Redeeming our lives.

In Praise of Women
By Elton Camp
How thankful I am for womankind
Who for bearing babies are designed
If all us men could the same to do
There might be one, but never two
It’s a thought I cannot abide
Having another person inside
To think you, for months, are fated
To wake up each morning nauseated
There’s nothing to do but to understand
For most of a year your waist will expand
And when about halfway done
Baby starts to have much fun
He must think it’s quite a trick
To give his mother a hard kick
And still bigger, bigger grows he
Till mother out of balance will be
Atop her bladder he does perch
Up and down he likes to lurch
To the bathroom she has to go
Most every time the kid does so
If a baby stood on my bladder
It would be a serious matter
It wouldn’t be very neat
Being stomped by his feet
Then the baby begins to knock at the door
“You can’t keep me inside here anymore.”
Female pelvis is made quite wide
Between the bones baby can slide
Daddy’s broad at shoulder and narrow at hip
So there’s not enough room for a baby to slip
So the main thing I want to say
“For women give a big hooray!”

It has been determined since creation.
From an almighty mind, a prolific conception.
And so has become the greatest of all inventions.
Eve, the prototype of such calculations,
Was destined to yield seamless replacements.
A perfect replica? Never such compliments.
Until a beautiful spring and a wonderful day
Witnessed her birth, and so was her name.
God's Gift to the world and mankind,
The ideal being and the perfect design,
With eyes that pierce the warrior's armor
Straight through the heart and steal his honor.
Able to borrow a smile from the sorrowful,
Or find the weakness of the powerful.
A blessing in her name and a fruit of a miracle,
She has become more than the revelation of an oracle.
And here she is, the pinnacle of womankind,
Ready to reach her prime and be enshrined.
God's gift to the world and every nation,
She is most worthy for conspicuous veneration.
