I am yellow-green! Peridot the color of self-esteem
Protective against life’s rife that may stream
I come from the earth’s rich interiors ore,
xenolith layers that make up its inner core
Purifying positive spiritual energy and well-being
Channeling love to intrusive shadows unseen
When sunrays shimmer thru shade tree leaves,
you’ll see me glinting behind the summer breeze
Dewy meadows in warm August blankets at sunrise
I am your luxuriant gift, and you are the prize
Be mindful of what you consume, for it shapes your being.
Nourish your vessel with compassion, as your diet influences your inclinations.
Choose your music judiciously, for rhythm resonates deeply with your soul.
Be mindful of what you read, as words penetrate straight to your heart.
Always practice prudence, for the devil’s trickery often hides in the guise of necessity.
Convinced that health is wealth, precious indeed
Vital in the ministry with my best
By God’s love, grace, peace and hope* amidst test…
I aim to stay fit --- my goal of blest creed.
Striving for wellness toward fulfilled life
Propels my functional being aright
With heart and soul reaching maximum height
Achieving most, devoid of ailment-strife.
Possessing healthy body and sound mind
I can do my tasks with workmanship glow
Joyously while smiting slothfulness’ woe
As faith drives me, triumphantly-designed.
I’ll continue with my exercise-ways
Practicing self-discipline for good gain
Feasting on nutritious diet, sans pain
Trusting God that I can win in life’s race.
Yes, staying healthy is number one goal
I pray to attain with the Lord’s great hand
For such props my daily reaching-out stand
With my senses as a person, so whole.
*Romans 15:13 - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

The glossy brochure made a promise,
To those maybe living with strife,
That by moving to their Senior Eden,
You’d find “wellness” the way of your life.
Though perhaps their apartments are lovely
And the clubhouse has classes and such,
To offer a life filled with “wellness,”
Is really, to me, just too much.
For no matter how shiny the pamphlet,
It all adds to a hill full of beans
When you bat around language like “wellness,”
Since I have no idea what it means.
MindMosaic, a vibrant youth wellness hub,
Empowers minds, and ignites inner spark.
BrightPath guides, YouthVibe thrives,
Resilience blooms, strength grows.
ThriveSphere nurtures souls,
MindQuest empowers,
ZenZone calms,
Minds map,
Shine.
The routine just became daunting
Straining, overbearing and exhausting
Yet it is the current blessing I should celebrate
That drains much strength just to navigate
But since our world has seen so little good
I try to not seem from a spoilt brood
And only to God can I present my case
For bare truth be rife when a man prays
I ask all I wish and ask it be His will
Lest I ask not and my joy knows no fill
I repeat again and again till it appears
To the affirming of faith reigning over the fears
It shall be well so long as He leads
For He refines, He guides, He speeds
And the way I will lift and fly past
Will be above the best lot ever cast.

YOU’LL BE FEELING FIN-TASTIC IN NO TIME!
Let us not have fears
Or unnecessary tears
For the chastising of one another
Dear poets maybe best to not smother
Let's get us back on track
A handful out of 4,600 not bad a smack
How I wish you would hear
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year!

Steps to take ?
Check them out!
Why not; immediately.?
Legs pumping, muscles screaming
Eyes transfixed, seeing but not seeing,
Mind wandering sometimes dreaming
Heart thumping, loudly beating.
Body glistening, pace increasing,
No thought other than just breathing,
Inner voice gently pleading,
It's against me that you're competing.
Hardened gaze, resolve seeking
Any thought of slowing down but fleeting,
End in sight, goal achieving,
In determination solely now believing.
Then it’s done, smile seeping
Hands on thighs, tension fast releasing,
Time to rest, morning breeze fast cooling,
A sense of private purpose sweeping.
This day’s success a moment surely fleeting,
Yet little tops this burst of joyful feeling.
If only I knew the words to say
To make your pain go away
If only my words could really heal
I can't imagine how you feel
If only my words can color the gray
Just maybe I could make your day
If my words could find a way
I'll put your burdens down to lay
If only my words could ward away
All the evil spirits that keeps you at bay
Then maybe sister could come out to play
I wish my words were as strong as you say
I would put my words on display
If only I knew the words to say
To make your pain go away
I hope my words brightens your day
The way you brighten my day everyday
Although my words might not can heal
I just hope they'll make you feel less ill
My words might not take away your pain
Or part the clouds or clear the rain
But with my words I can pray
If only I knew the words to say
to make your pain go away
I love you sis in every way
I guess the only thing left to say
Can Becky come out to play today
Love: your brother
Let's go play©
Wellness and worry are by no means friends.
To be well, your mind of worry you must cleanse.
Living with worry, there’s a price to pay
worry will kill you if you let it stay.
If you want to enjoy physical health,
beware of worry it creeps up by stealth
then causes your nervous system to stress,
and in time, you’ll be a physical mess.
Worry also affects your mental health.
Its effects can creep up on you by stealth.
Worrying can lead to anxiety
which makes you withdraw from society.
Worry can steal your emotional health
Like a cat it moves in silence and stealth.
It gnaws on your joy, making you feel sad.
Before you know it, everything seems bad.
Worry can ruin spiritual health.
The crafty old lion stalks you in stealth.
He tempts you to doubt and distrust your God.
Before you know it, your life he has clawed.
Worry is a thief; he is after your health.
Give him a chance and he’ll steal your wealth.
When worry shows up, don't open the door.
Trust God instead, and feel your spirit soar.
Wellness varies greatly in us all.
We reach to God in His great Hall,
To have us please, be better now.
Stop the pain, please somehow?
Sometimes pain goes on, to teach,
That life is anything but a peach.
We learn our poetry reflects our soul!
Whether sick or well is that not our ultimate goal?
Not trophied sophistication?
Just us, in our open, realistic, presentation!

i am dizzy right now and i am unable to be able
i simply refuse to reestablish my common sense
i choose stubbornness and it has now caused me mad pain
maybe i will grab my sweety's throw blanket and sleep in front of the chiropractor's door
i am lightheaded right now and i am unable to be able
i create stanzas of excuses moonlighting as poems
i am an unfinished basements salesman specializing in repetitive wolf tickets
maybe i will grab my starlight's forest green furry bathrobe and sleep in front of the orthopedic doctor's door
i am confused right now and i am unable to be able
i am a right handed pitcher of habitual lies in a dry desert
i am a left handed denialologist with only disorted images on the obvious picture
maybe i will borrow my lady's always warm brain and go to the wall of her primary doctor and knock some sense into myself until opening hours
In this current pandemic bout
afflicted hearts in pain do shout
though in vain, masks hide grievous pout
they hope to win from virus’ clout.
With many variants that do sprout
come varied vaccines’ “What about?”
oh, faith in GOD is my sure route
HIM I trust against fear and doubt.
Clinging to CHRIST for blessings’ spout
truth of good health over fake tout
wellness reigns against ailment snout
healing* as Covid pest dies out.
In our tea fellowship’s hangout
prayer time is divine workout
while HOLY SPIRIT does scout
enabling every soul devout.
Miracles midst spiritual grout
I expect from the Lord all throughout
drawing close to HIM though lies flout
from social distancing’s care-drought.
