i close my eyes and let the sounds take me away
there is no other way for me to completely let myself go
oh, how easily a smile makes its way to my usually scowling face
i have to embrace this refreshing and breezy alternative

we have overly relied on recidivism rates
in response to curiosity about
How to decrease crime.
For enjoying compassion
of restorative
healing justice,
we rely on win/win
empowering with community mediation
to grow deep resonance
hope for unconditional regard
and widely resilient integrity
In response to curiosity about
How to increase health
and safety
and happiness
locally ego-enlightened
and globally ecotherapeutic.
Retributive justice
fails a healthy and safe
wellness society
as it continues to punish
power-over
and excommunicate wounded
win/lose damaged criminals.
Meanwhile
community-based visions
for restoring wellbeing
equity
justice
become increasingly effective
and resilient
as parents
and teachers
and leaders
and preachers
shift our victim protection focus
from CRIMES, violent and/or financial
and/or environmental,
to healing victims of TRAUMA
Personal
and systemic,
political
and economic,
locally suicidal
and nationalistically genocidal
and globally ecocidal,
placing the greatest value on a life
only after final breath.

In tranquil thoughts and wellness, may you dwell,
May joy's sweet warmth forever be your guide,
May favors smile and fortune's gifts abide,
May blessings bloom and flourish, all may tell.
May happiness make your heart to feel well,
May faith and hope, like beacons, shine your ride,
May life's uncertainties flee from your side,
May peace never bid your life a farewell.
And when life's journey ends, and your last breath,
May God's love be what will hold you very tight,
May His grace be what will guide you after death,
May heaven's joy be for your heart's delight,
May God's own guidance provide you with strength,
And in eternity finds you upright.
Succumbing to enchantment of creative fantasy
exempted from idolatry midst make-believe freedom’s ecstasy
I behold myself among charity princesses, exuding sweet fervency
melding Venus and Aphrodite’s attributes toward earnest love-excellency.
There am I sowing gracious kindness
never tolerating selfishness and greediness
granting wishes that regard over-all victory wellness
encouraging forgiveness prevalence, devoid of haughtiness.
In my assigned area, I bask under radiance of caring glow
visiting orphanages, warming the children with concern-flow
providing foster and adoptive families to every homeless fellow
while reaching-out, aiding the needy, aged, and sick against hardships’ billow.
Instilling joyous altruism around generosity’s opulence
while constantly sharing blessings of good-heartedness influence
instilled goodness virtue offers sincere friendship melting apathy’s silence
meeting differences with respect, valuing one another’s uniqueness license.
Striving to make faithfulness reign, ultimately triumphant
rejoicing as human weaknesses champion over being arrogant
"charity vessel" am I with mission to spread peace that’s jubilant
while yielded to the Sovereign Source of divine love*, eternally abundant.
