Premium Member First Poem was Born

  As activities
   shrinking, retiring from work,
    needed an outlet.
    I had to fill vacuum.,
    when reduced my broad spectrum.

   All on a sudden
   in year Two Thousand Fifteen,
   tasted poetry
    in web site poetry soup
   igniting my interest.

     Planted first poem
    in Poetry soup garden
    for relaxation.
    In the world of poetry,
just I chanced to get entry.

    In the last sector
of my life zone , I invent
   this field to explore .
    Enjoying my creation
    along with recreation.

Premium Member An Antidepressant Web Site

Think I'll design an anti-depression website
Where people can visit when they're down
When their lives aren't zinging along at top speed
And they're continually wearing a frown

Most likely could have used it myself at times
But my Cathie sure helped me get through
As well as all you wonderful people out there
What would I do without you guys too

You brighten my life every single darn day
Can't wait to read the comments you make
They're always positive so extremely upbeat
It's like having a big piece of chocolate cake

Discovered The Soup about ten years ago
What a great find that turned out to be
Each day can't wait to get back to my computer
To connect with my friends again woo-ie

Premium Member Muffed It

On the internet I am a rookie,
But the web site said they would book me
A tele-health call
And my Doc's on the ball
But I had a mouthful of cookie!

Premium Member Prayer

Premium Member A Friend

Moisture found a passage way into my eyes,
And engendered tear drops when from a web site
Called 'Classmates' came a greeting from a fellow high
School student who became the wife of a treasured friend.

She greeted me with the words, "I hope you are blessed".
My reply to her was, "Indeed, I am blessed". Notwithstanding,
While reflecting upon the life of my early demising friend,
The age-old question of 'why the good die young' surfaced
Once more from the pages of my musing mind.

We often think that there will be lots of questions posed
To the Lord when we all get to heaven. However, I also think
That on other occasions, beholding The Master's face will
Quickly erase or remove every question. Moreover, the former
Things that we found memorable on earth will fade, and the
'All things made new' will enflame our every existence. But until
Then, I will treasure the memory of my awesome friend Charles.

Premium Member Home Alone

When home alone
You won't be alone
Spiritually
You landed yourself in a world of thinking others
Your children your hubby
Your work your achievement
Maybe other people affairs you read in papers
or on TV news
Through gossiping messages
Writing to web site
Reading from facebook
So if well planned
Home alone wont be alone

Premium Member Start Knowing Joy

Start now knowing joy,
that’s an order,
overcome a deepening solitude.

Like a bee at a bugle
or me at the deli
on Third Avenue.

I said to Joe when do you think this weather will break?
He jokes, April.
That’s no joke. Weak creatures die and the strong barely survive.

Half a year goes by
another cancer checkup.
Cheer up. Any weather’s

better than no weather at all.
There’s always governance
even when there is no government.

My candidate drops out
after Iowa. Why do I always lose
at politics and poker?

Peace at last!
No lawnmowers, no leafblowers.
Big comfy couch.

Meditate on this: Do what has to be done.
Find your lover gazing at the moon
and take your garbage to the dump.

Your web site evaporates
and your possessions are thrown in the dumpster
except your trumpet which finds its way to a future trumpeter.

I bought a new replacement brain from Amazon
With a lifetime warrantee
delivered and installed by Amazon technicians

It said on the web site that it was imported
And I now speak a new language

Premium Member Cute Christmas Couplet

Had a little too much leaded eggnog at Target's Christmas party,
sung karaoke with hardy Bullseye, he was a little smarty.

Fall Is Just An Appetizer

Have you ever known a skier’s mind
when the leaves turn yellow and red?
As frost forms before the drive to work
and the lawnmower is put to bed?
When all you feel is a bracing chill,
and southwards all the large birds have fled?

The first taste of what is lying in wait
will start a snowstorm within our minds.
While leafers drive, see orange and brown,
inside of our poor brains you will find
a landscape painted all up in snow,
we keep watching the low temps at night.

See Fall is just an appetizer,
not a final flourish before sleep,
taunts us with hints of snow on the air,
we start praying that it’ll fall deep;
doing a snow-dance, gifts to Ullr,
do not let this year be mild, please!

Reading what’s new at our best mountains,
web-site says they’ll be opening soon,
a ribbon of white amidst the brown,
spotting those first tall snowmaking plumes,
can’t wait for frigid air in my lungs…
I don’t care if you think I’m a loon.

Wandering Further Into Dispair

In slow motion
but without the ability
To stop the events
About to envelope me
If I had took a moment
And stepped away
been an onlooker of
My most life destroying day
I may of seen it coming
I may of prepared
I may of left the country
With my children
No one herd
Run into the night
Like a murder
Helicopters circling
In the air
My mum let me know
I was on the police
Web site
Ports alerted
No where to go
Arested and put in a cell
Nearly took m life
No one interviewed me
They didn't know my name
They still took my daughter
Into foster care she was put
Now a year later
Can't function
Cry every twenty minutes
Can cope
Can win
As the said
We're the biggest corporation in the U.K.
How are u going to fight us

A Virtual Ritual

Reality at times may become virtual;
Can view on screen as a superstitial;
Successfully completing;
Then are repeating,
And have habits existing like a ritual.

Trends Come and Go

I looked in all the nooks
whats left of my old books
I used to read so much
now their all rust and dust

I used to call my friends
now I text and press send
send cards by that web site
to make their hearts feel light

I know cash will not last
coins a thing of the past
stores like when you swipe cards
cash will one day be barred

Cars will soon be air borne
the geese will honk their horns
trains, planes will go more fast
a blur that will speed past

Smart phones are the new trend
keep up with the Jones friend
dont care to says my brain
some new trends are just lame
