Write On To You Poets--Write On

One day I found this really cool web site!
Of all names it is called
"Poetry Soup!"
It's a place to write
and post all of your poems-
WOW!....
Man, was I thrown for a loop!!!

There are so many poems
to write and to read-
"Will I EVER have enough time???"
I mean....
there's sonnets and prose,
"what's a kyrielle???"....
a quatrain???....
and there's so, so many rhymes!!!

Each and every poem
is artistically done
and everyone has so much to say!
They even have a place
where you can turn poems
INTO ART!!!....
and you can post at least
"10" per day!!!

A whole new appreciation
for the written word
has developed
and has it's moments!
The support
that's given and received
on this site
is reflected
in a place called
"comments!"

So in being around
such great talent
as this,
where inspiration
can truly be drawn,
PLEASE....if I may,
I've just one thing to say....
"Write On To You Poets--
Write On!!!

Freddy the Fly Meets Sidney the Spider

Freddy the Fly
Meandering on
the ceiling one day,
Suddenly got a "heads up!"

He glimpsed from
three hundred or so,
Of his left side eyes,
A sight guaranteed
To make a fly's fear
rise.

For there was Sidney
The Spider...
Just "Hanging Around"
On his "Web Site"
Couple of sets of
Spider eyes,
Watching a Spider delight...

A potential self delivered meal
What a Spider deal!!!

He waved to Freddy
In a "Come Hither" way,
With as close to
a smile, a spider
is able to make...

But Freedy was
a "Fly Of The World"
And knew an invitation
He should not take...

So Freddy buzzed around
In teasing Sid,
Turns out,
A dumb thing he did...

Suddenly a psssstt...
A mist,
By Black Flag spray,
This fly was kissed.

He spiralled down
In a fly crash landing
Found himself...
Barely standing...

He survived, but now had
Em-fly-sema
His wings would never again
Flap as fast...

He resolved venvenge
On evil Sidney...
For distracting him so much...
He'd find a way to take
The day...
There would be revenge's
touch.

                                           ~
Isaiah 64:8 "Yet, oh Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay, You are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."

Intro -

(Verse 1)

I've lost touch with all the things that make You real
Could be the reason why I'm just not sure
Of how I feel inside without You

All the stirrings and the hunger in my soul
Is only now replaced by carelessness
And guilt of who I am and used to be
And becoming the reflection that I see
I am.

(Verse 2)

It's taken all my life to insulate my heart
I've surrounded it with walls of words
And fortresses of self-deception

All the battles that I waged within my world
Were only vain attempts to help myself
Believe that I was changing deep inside
But all I did was find new ways to hide

(Chorus)

I am this man of clay
Lord I need you now to mold me
Please take me in your sculptor's hands
And re-create the one
I am.

(Verse 3)

Is there method to the madness in my life?
All the mortar that I've built upon
Has crumbled to my feet before me

Knowing countless are the times I've turned away
Finding temporary refuge in
The things that I could spend my senses on
Hoping when I turned I'd find the one
I am.

(Verse 4)

I have loved and lost so much as someone new
Hoping others would be taken with
The person that they wanted me to be
Living for the things they couldn't see
And not the Truth my Lord had shown to me

(Chorus)

I am this man of clay
Lord I need you now to mold me
Please take me in Your sculptor's hands
And re-create the one
I am.

Solo Break -

(Chorus)

I am this man of clay
Lord I need you now to mold me
Please take me in your sculptor's hands
And re-create the one
I am ...

This man of clay
Lord I need you now to mold me
Please take me in your sculptor's hands
And re-create the one
Re-create the one
Re-create the one
I am.

Our Lovely Dog Snickers

Our Lovely Dog Snickers

I was directed today,
To a brand new web site.
It’s all about pets,
And some of their plights.

It got me to thinking,
Of a dog we once had.
She was part of the family;
I felt more like her dad.

When I was at work,
One thing I knew sure.
She was waiting for me,
Her heart was so pure.
When she knew it was time
For me to get home.
She’d wait by the door,
With a toy or a bone.

She’d have a smile on her face,
Her tail would be wagging.
Her affection for me
Never seemed lagging.
If I said, so she’d hear,
“I’m taken’ the truck.”
She always got excited;
She hoped she’s in luck.

If I went for a walk,
She was right by the door.
Looking at me,
With her leash on the floor.

Oh she was a shedder,
A hair-growing machine.
Our house always needed
A thorough vacuuming.

When it came time for bed,
She would stand at her cage.
She knew the routine,
was as smart as a sage.

Some time a while back,
I read of two men.
Who were speaking of Heaven,
But of course hadn’t been.

One fellow wondered,
Would they barbecue there?
Will they melt down smores?
Could the steaks be grilled rare?
Will they use charcoal briquettes?
Or does propane heat the air?
Would there be a choice of soft drinks
Or is it just water there?
Will the biscuits be golden?
Would they there use some leaven.
They were so filled with queries,
About life then in heaven.

Well one of the questions
I would ask of those two.
Will my Snickers be there?
On my slippers to chew?

Will Heaven be heaven?
If that really ain’t so.
Is it finally the place
Where I’ll want to go?

Is she still as anxious,
To run in the clouds?
Or are things there so different,
With men in white shrouds?

I’ll not forget how it ended.
Then came the conclusion.
Perfection in heaven
Is no foggy illusion.
For as my dog had her favorites,
Chew toys and a chair.
She’ll be as happy as ever
When her master gets there.

That seems now so clear,
That’s settled for me.
I have hope and joy,
As the end now will be.

If when at the gate,
I don’t my little dog see.
I’ll know I’m in heaven,
For my Master will be.

Written by oldbuck, after an afternoon of
Thinking about his little Snickers
And their possible “future” together.

And have habits existing like a ritual.

Standing at back of cafeteria during youth basketball awards ceremony
This is my community.
"What you do may not seem important but it is very important that you
      do it."

The men and women bringing the boys and girls a step to wisdom.
Win or lose, play your best and treat your opponent with respect.
Maybe the school principal can explain the ultimate mystery?

The women cannot be this chaste! The men so committed to
      non-violence!
What is the board president alone in her bedroom.
Coach Strong and his blowsy frowsy wife?

They put much emotion and gratification aside to get things done. Done
for their sons and done for their daughters.
Visit the web site! Buy a raffle ticket! Belong to the loved ones!
I follow distantly. I watch warily. I have not been asked to lead or lift a
      load.

Sitting in a chair in a corner of a room at the top of a house near the end
of a street on the edge of a city at the mouth of a river,
Estuary of ocean, ocean of atmosphere, pierced by a meteor bringing ore
and organisms, incinerating elements and rototilling ecosystems,
Everything changes but consciousness.

The kids of course are perfect as animals in habitats.
In light of these basketball certificates, team spirits,
Time, our moment, is indeed "the mercy of eternity."

Drive Like a Girl

My broker sent me a letter
Saying my insurance was over due
So I looked around on the internet
To see what I could do
I came across a web site
That really caught my eye
It’s called drive like a girl
Oh’ what a big surprise

I drive my little baby
And treat her with respect
I keep her clean and tidy
And her engines always kept
I love my little Betsey
And drive her like a girl
Burning rubber always
And revving hard as hell
Oh’ well, what the heck
Now, I’ve got a bleeper
Coz’ I went to drive like a girl
And got my insurance cheaper

So the next day I called them
On my mobile phone
I got a lovely girl
Chatting all alone
I said I'd like some insurance
For my latest star
She answered very calmly
Oh’ we can’t insure that car

Oh’ I said that’s funny
It does say drive like a girl.Com
Are you trying to tell me
That, I’ve got all quite wrong
She answered very sweetly
But oh’ you’re not a girl
I said I dig, I wear a wig
Now would you like a sale

I drive my little baby
And treat her with respect
I keep her clean and tidy
And her engines always kept
I love my little Betsey
And drive her like a girl
Burning rubber always
And revving hard as hell
Oh’ well, what the heck
Now, I’ve got a bleeper
Cause I went to Drive like a girl
And got my insurance cheaper

"More to This Life"
© 2012 Michelle Lynn LeBlanc

I want to help the those who are searching rise up and believe
That there's more to this life than what they can't see

There's so much focus to live for what's beyond
Let's live for the now, in case we've been conned

We don't need a God to have morals in this life
That's just a myth that fuels division and strife

Maybe there's an afterlife; that could be true
But what if there isn't...in this life, what`d we do?

Let's make this life count, no matter what
Holding to the positive things religion has taught

Love. Do good to those who have hurt us and forgive
Promote peace and kindness as reasons to live

Giving of ourselves, hoping for nothing in return
These are the kinds of things we should aspire to learn

To be an inspiration or to show unconditional love
Are moral values in many of us; it`s not simply from above

Having meaning & purpose in life can still exist
Just open up your mind and fight the thoughts that resist

Look within yourself and find the strength you need
It is there, my friend; just try it and you'll see

Don't be blinded by the views of religion
You can still have peace & joy, but it's your decision

Surround yourself with those who are positive and kind
And the same presence of love & peace will reside in your mind

Time to break the chains that keep you bound
Yes, its time to hear them making a rattling sound

So shake off the guilt! Break free from religious pride
Look with new perspective and see the beauty inside!

Life is Amazing!

Internet Education

I have an internet education
I graduate everyday
I have an internet education
I bookmark my favorite page

I know about civil war
In Bosnia and the Sudan
and that one in the United States
that forged "American"
Water rights in Tibet
Afghanistan's hidden resources
Machinery for the war
we haven't fought yet
revealing plotted courses

Challenge me to any thing
it not about how fast I type
It is a perennial philosophical reflection
that if one looks deeply into oneself
one will discover not only one's own essence
but also the essence of the universe.
For as one is a part of the universe
as is everything else,
the basic energies of the universe
flow through oneself
as they flow through everything else.
So it is thought that
one can come into contact
with the nature of the universe
if one comes into contact
with one's own nature.

In seconds I can translate

Create a web site, delete a face book
even start a blog (Beaureguard Schmeltzer)
I have an internet education
every day I am learning more
with my internet education
its about me like never before.

Now who do I share this with
my lessons of life
I spent twenty five years at the keyboard
my muscles are tight.
I miss me...

Until tomorrow and the school bell rings again.
Keep up your education any way you can.

Never keep to your self the beauty that is inside
share your time, your life, your spirit with others.
Get out, enjoy, play music, paint.
Bring home the white clouds again.

Sat listening to Jimmy Buffet
While eating some crud that
made her sway...
Along came a spider
A notorious derider
And here's what he had to say
"Hey, Chickee, come visit my web site!"
At that she made her day...
She "clocked" the "mother"
Like no other
Sometimes things just
turn out that way.

Premium Member Bloom Where You Are Planted

Once I told a married Baptist missionary, I wanted to be one. Carol said, "Roxanne, Everett needs missionaries too." She meant I should bloom where I was planted. But we both were much younger then.

Transport myself into the 21st century. I am no longer a Baptist, but am a Lutheran. I am no longer middle aged, I am sixty-five years young. And I try my humble best. In spreading the good news of the gospel on the internet. Reaching more people than I ever reached before.

And I am no alone. Many poets and Biblically commentators are much better informed. Not to mention more talented than I ever will become. What we have in common? Our mutual love and respect for Jesus Christ. We are all part of the body of Christ. We are a part of his established church. We belong to him. He is the bride groom and we are his bride.

We need to bloom where we are planted. In many parts throughout the known world. The good news of the gospel is prohibited and restrictive. Many modern day disciples pay the ultimate price. Sacrificing both their freedoms and also their very lives. They have obtained a wonderful heavenly reception and rewards at the Beama seat of Christ. They will be reaping what they sowed.

There is an opened door for spreading the good currently available in the United States. I am composing this while there are no real restrictions.
I visited a Christian web site. I tried to post a bible verse on Facebook.
It was not allowed because some people might find it objectional. And they feel they have both the privileges' and the rights to restrict religious speech.
In the good old United States! I dearly love and pray for my beloved homeland.

Love in Christ Jesus!
