Trends Come and Go

I looked in all the nooks
whats left of my old books
I used to read so much
now their all rust and dust

I used to call my friends
now I text and press send
send cards by that web site
to make their hearts feel light

I know cash will not last
coins a thing of the past
stores like when you swipe cards
cash will one day be barred

Cars will soon be air borne
the geese will honk their horns
trains, planes will go more fast
a blur that will speed past

Smart phones are the new trend
keep up with the Jones friend
dont care to says my brain
some new trends are just lame

I love it slow and easy even the Smart Phones are not easy for me....,, it's not easy to use one syllable words and even harder with a rhyme to make a have way good poem .. Tom Cunningham February 7, 2018 at 2:09 AM The advances' in technology have gone into warp drive over the last forty or fifty years, its hard to keep up sometimes and if you dont have some of these gadgets people think you're some kind of caveman, frightening sometimes.
