Climate Unchanged

Wind lashed fronds whip a neck twisting air.
Florida bleeds green.
A large woman in a rainbow muumuu,
a toy poodle pushed tightly into her folds
wades into the storm determined
to bring a hurricane to heel.
The land has now flooded high enough
to expose alligator snouts.
The Cajun navy hoists its Jolly Roger,
golf carts are boarded,
elderly men in white and tartan shorts
are reluctantly rescued.
A badly shaken sunset dives for cover.
Along an invisible shoreline Tiki lights
twinkle on.

Forever Unchanged

Making a mess of my life
Always searching for more
Shifting through the chaos
The ruins of my so could happiness
One direction
One sure focus
To implode all of my insecurity
The fuse i refuse to light
To blow away all of what i was meant to be
Imprisoned in my own existence
Some cage the world constantly stares into
Laughing misunderstanding me
My tears a joke a sheer excuse to continue to hurt me
Revenge in those eyes
Wont comprehend forgiveness
Let things go
As we fade into the night
This light we tried to shine
Flickering dying out
This love lost
So strange these tides of inception
The course set to destruction
How do i change what she perceives is to be
Forever unchanged.

Premium MemberDragonflies Remain Unchanged

Dragonflies have remained nearly unchanged for about three hundred million years. How researchers know this, I cannot say, I suspect they have studied fossils of them. They are adaptable, able to live in almost any condition.

                                      virtually unchanged
                                  a shimmering dragonfly
                                        ancestral wonder

Unchanged the Ballad of Wanting

In spite of me
He makes her his
And responds to
My leggings
To cause me pain
Might I speak her
As mine
Might I speak her
As mine
Opened to
Suggestions
That it pains me
To think of those
Moments together
And I am indestructible
Am I served
To a new concern
In my confidence
Am I a fool
To speak to the level
Of this intensity
And who finds audience
In my suffering
To undermine me
And have me feeble
Who wishes me
To lose the momentum
I have gained

Unchanged

How many years have passed
   and still I ask
is it a full or half empty glass?

The times they are a changing
and all I hear is the clanging
of the fool in charge entertaining.

The common folk are still down here
holding the media and democracy in tears
and everything's the same, year after year.

Unchanged

The oppressors are united and powerful
The oppressed are divided and fearful
History says everywhere going on these
Already several hundred years have passed,
Yet unchanged on the old parallel lines
Only crying we need change, we need change.

Unchanged

I see with my eyes,
as the season change
Rain comes and go
Sometimes,
the river cease to flow
Leaves dry,
and swept away in wind
cold comes
and makes our lips tremble
And our body craving for woolly cloth
Ye!, Albeit  season change
E'en if your visage with it
My feelings for you remains
Like a thousand year stone
I love you and you're my own

Two Lenses Unchanged

Two Lenses - Unchanged

When I was young and foolish
I’d do things not quite schoolish.
My naked feet danced barefoot in the rain
splashing in water running toward the drains
until grams admonished me on my childish ways.

Today, I am always wearing socks and shoes
careful outside where my feet may get bruised,
but in the warm spring storms and rainy days
I stand at the door and watch the children play
whose simplistic innocence restores my youth.

Unchanged

I have never changed
resisting all the dress codes, procedures and protocols.
Despite the efforts of so many authorities over me,
 it was I who allowed them occasionally to be in charge;
but
I was still the one who made the final call.

I remained the person that I was meant to be,
  me, myself and I.
Abandoned as a child at only three,
my self sufficient, independent ways showed resilience
and
  defiant determination come what may.

I pushed back against them all, defying what they did
 they could not make or break me;
now here I am,
still present and demanding their respect.
Here I stand.
Still here, still strong, still I, myself and me,
  unchanged.

I lay in wait
Tear it away
By making it break
Find comfort in pain
remain the same
Forever unchanged
Im in the gym
To work me out
Make me sweat
Break me down
Put myself
Through torture
And pain
While I hastily
Pick up some weights
Run around
Beating me down
Making sure
Im working out
Trying and fighting
Like never before
Turn it up a notch
Until my bodys sore
Going through
Another phase
Everyday
Unmatched
Unscathed
I wont change lanes
I will always be the same
Forever unchanged

Fortunes Unchanged

FORTUNES UNCHANGED

We labour and sweat
eating from our brow
praying fasting and beseeching
Our maker the Creator

Change our fortunes
for man is to prayer and praise
a daily partaker seeking of grace
from the throne of his maker

To work and labour and sweat
enshrined in obeyance to the will
of his Creator.. that man is to labour
eating by the sweat of his brow

The creator rejoiceth in his creations
that's why his mercies are renewed each day
and we are partakers of his grace mercy and glory
attaining the miracle of the moment blessed of GOD..MAN

Unchanged

Another day may find my will
until then I remain unchanged
The world spins perpetually,
yet I remain unmoved.

A beauty hidden in the night sky,
though my eyes cannot see
perhaps each twinkling star
Will one day leave me in awe

They say that life is fleeting
though I never relish a breath
If tomorrow is my last day
Than tonight I'll be sure to smile

Take my shattered conscious
set it out, into an unforgiving sea
each thought a contradiction
At least, on the surface

Another day may find my will
Until then I remain unchanged
The world spins perpetually,
yet I remain unmoved.

Unchanged Habits- the Aspiring Vocalist

UNCHANGED HABITS

Recently, I promised myself to make drastic changes;
again, I have fallen into yesterday's habits.
So unchanged they seem as my esteem:
they must be controlling my rebelling genes,
but making changes isn't for the better, I deem.
So unchanged they seem as my esteem;
again, I have fallen into yesterday's habits...
recently, I promised myself to make drastic changes.

THE ASPIRING VOCALIST

He had an aspiration for greatness that could have blossomed into realized dreams;
he headed to New York City wearing shining boots and tight, faded blue jeans,
" He's a real Texan cowboy! " someone shouted in the noisy athmosphere...
and he accidentally heard that with surprise and it sounded pleasant to his ear.
He had talent and was seeking a vocalist's job, singing on Broadway's streets.
" He's a real Texan cowboy! " someone shouted in the noisy athmosphere.
He headed to New York City wearing shining booths and tight, faded blue jeans;
he had an aspiration for greatness that could have blossomed into realized dreams.
