“We are the US government”
We can print out of thin air
Mister Sherman says aloud
Which should be quite a scare
But yet he says of Bitcoin
(Amazing that he can dare)
That bitcoin isn’t valuable
But created from thin air
Bitcoin has a cost to make
A cost that can’t compare
To fiat’s cheap and easy flow
Debasing the saver’s share
Thank you Mister Sherman
For making us all aware
Of your Cantillon privilege
Printing money from thin air
Study what a bitcoin costs
To make one - with work & care
And you’ll see Bitcoin’s value
Come join and get a share
Thank you Mister Sherman
For helping us to prepare
As our dollars get debased
Since they’re printed from thin air
A massive malaise is sweeping across the land
People are saying they can’t make a difference
Our so-called leaders have gotten out of hand
Sadly, many voters will certify rank ignorance.
That significant numbers still support Trump
Amazes me. I can’t grasp this conman’s appeal,
For he tried to overthrow the U.S. government
A free and fair national election, he tried to steal.
He’s still going about the country spreading lies
Always tearing down, a serial criminal, I feel.
Folks, we CAN make a difference, I do believe
We can vote for leaders who prize integrity,
We can do everything we can, tensions to relieve
And vote out the scumbags who have no dignity,
Who speak out of both sides of their mouth,
Who say one thing today and another tomorrow
It doesn’t take a lot of homework, just listen…
Make genuine love for our country quid pro quo.
Yes, we can do it! We can do it come November
Let’s make this election one we’ll long remember.

Please stand by for this important announcement
Of news you’ll most assuredly not want to miss
A newsworthy, earth-shaking pronouncement
More startling than your first unexpected kiss.
Your favorite television program is interrupted
Just when you’re about to watch Final Jeopardy,
You’d think the U.S. government was bankrupted
By the sound of the announcer’s anxious perfidy.
Instead, there’s a tennis player who’s deported
From Australia, his name you never heard before
Seems his lack of a vaccine he too openly sported
Forever, hereafter, he’ll never again be obscure.
All you wanted to know was who won Jeopardy
You had waited all day long for today’s show,
For you faithfully watch your program daily
To see the champion trivia winner’s earnings grow.

Life as a U.S. Diplomat
For 27 years
I served my country
As a diplomat
I worked all over the world
Advancing US government policies
Promoting American values.
Helping foreigners visit the U.S.
Helping Americans overseas
Issuing thousands of visas.
Talking to thousands of people
Every day,
In my fractured tortured English,
Korean, Thai, and Spanish.
In the end,
I just remained
A boy who grew up in Berkeley.
And was eternally grateful and amazed
For the opportunity to serve
My country.
"I'm from the Census Bureau," I said
"You're from the U.S. government, I dread"
So I asked him his name
He replied, "Putin-tame"
~ Ha! I'll have to deport you, all the same!"
Life's been real good
Didn't grow up in the hood
Didn't wish I would
Always knew
What I wanted to do
I would
Life' been real good
Pulling me through
Challenges
Family and my crew
Couple things I wish they knew
But that's just how it goes its all cool
It was right after school
I realized
My life is mine
No time
To go back
I'm just fine
Living life in my prime
Protection and service
Ain't about the power or dime
Controversy bound to root from my rhyme
Because I'll tell you the U.S. government
Is way outta line
But we keep on the shine
Life's been real good
And you know I'm just fine
The Unlucky Inventor
In winters the sun does not reach down to my valley
so I put my hall mirror on top a knoll; who the hell
needs a hall mirror, it poked fun of me every time
I walked past on my way to the kitchen to make me
another sandwich. In January and February the sun
shines in my garden and there was no autumn in my
life. But my latest invention which I sold to
the Taliban brought my heartache, it is a devise that
detect drones and make them explode in the air,
There are lots of explosions over Afghanistan and
Pakistan. Alas, I´m a fugitive now the Americans
Who claim I´m abetting the enemy. The Taliban have
not paid me and the US government wants me dead,
not by drones, but by sending in the marines.
WAITING FOR THE WHALES
with the Yupik
On icy shores the Yupik women grab their down-wrapped kids--
Muscled men push-slide long boats from old white plastic skids.
Squinting grey horizons -- snow-fog blurs keenest sight--
Wondering which hunter fickle gods will take tonight.
Seal skin gear repels the wet while ice finds nervous hands,
Hunters --cheerful-- brave the cold that rules in Arctic lands.
Suddenly a burst of water spits above their heads--
Spears flash—too late—whale disappears--but not a soul is dead.
Note:
Yupik people are one of the Native American tribes
of Eskimos in Northern Alaska whose traditional life included whale, polar bear and seal hunting.
The U.S. government allows them to hunt one whale per season to fulfill their religious
and cultural tradition. This hunt was near Barrow, Alaska spring 2012.

The lovely U.S. Government plan
to police our every Internet move...
It is a SICKENING infringement of our rights!!!
"Get Up, Stand up, Stand Up for your rights!"~Bob Marley
A wedding ring and locket
Were the only things inside
Two pictures in the locket
Of a husband and his bride
Trembling hands replaced the gold
And re-tied all the strings
Everyone felt guilty
As they viewed these precious things
The second box held letters
Written by a soldiers hand
Post-marked 1995
From a distant desert land
Also there, another note
From U.S. government
Expressing deepest sorrow
And concern for her lament
Everyone now understood
How Marys life was frayed
Her only son was lost to war
And husband passed away
Two tiny little boxes
Were her only claim to life
The consumate devotion
Of a mother and a wife
When there was nothing left to have
That's when she came to stay
Enjoying every hour there
Until she passed away
So pray for Mary in your thoughts
And know she's not alone
She's bathed in precious glory
As she's finally made it home

It's been six years since Hurricane Katrina destroyed the city of New Orleans, LA. That
devastating storm had left all of the city's citizens homeless and hungry. All of the city
streets have been flooded, their homes and businesses/establishments were destroyed, and
all of the victims of Hurricane Katrina are still shaken, even to this day. I was 17 years
old when that tragic event occurred. At that time, the victims of Hurricane Katrina had to
evacuate their beloved city, thus coming to the State of Texas for food, shelter, and a
good education. It seems to me that the U.S. Government was trying their best to help the
then-Louisiana Governor and then-President George W. Bush try to rebuild the city of New
Orleans. But despite Hurricane Katrina destroying the entire city and towns in Mississippi
and Louisiana 6 years ago, back in August 2005, all of Louisiana and Mississippi citizens
are still thriving, even to this day. Hurricane Katrina will be a tragic event the world
will never forget.
Demoralizing, dehabilitating, ugh! Humilating.
I'm riding these rails.
A prisoner of the federal government.
Not in jail.
Locked in this poor financial cell.
It's a living hell.
They take the icing off the top.
As they say,
"don't worry we'll give it back,"
or "maybe not"...
Worry?
Not them.
They don't live by the system.
They work for it.
They collect their checks,
to decide if you can have,
what you have left.
They have absolutely nothing to do with the lord,
but it seems like they play God.
In the system we created,
money is secondary,
to the almighty.
Without either one
your life might as well be done.
Brilliant!
Give your money, to pay them.
So they can decide, if you can have what's yours.
What a system.
Your federal tax dollars at work.
The U.S. government "gods" of the earth.
Born into this unjust curse.
Someone controlling your present fate
leaves such a morbid taste.
Don't let the system get inside your head.
Don't let the system get inside your fellow man.
They may own my body,
but they can't stop my mind.
All I've got is time.
The last man you want to challenge,
a man with a mission in mind.
