We Can Make a Difference

A massive malaise is sweeping across the land People are saying they can’t make a difference Our so-called leaders have gotten out of hand Sadly, many voters will certify rank ignorance. That significant numbers still support Trump Amazes me. I can’t grasp this conman’s appeal, For he tried to overthrow the U.S. government A free and fair national election, he tried to steal. He’s still going about the country spreading lies Always tearing down, a serial criminal, I feel. Folks, we CAN make a difference, I do believe We can vote for leaders who prize integrity, We can do everything we can, tensions to relieve And vote out the scumbags who have no dignity, Who speak out of both sides of their mouth, Who say one thing today and another tomorrow It doesn’t take a lot of homework, just listen… Make genuine love for our country quid pro quo. Yes, we can do it! We can do it come November Let’s make this election one we’ll long remember. Written October 15, 2022

It is, indeed, Caren. Something needs to be done about this man. I don't give a rat's behind that he is a former president. He isn't above the law...or is he???

There is an old adage that states: "POLITICIANS ARE LIKE DIAPERS. THEY SHOULD BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON"

It's up to each individual to cast their vote, if they're not happy then vote for someone that will make a difference. Tom

Oh, yes, I wholeheartedly agree, Tom. November voting is an opportunity to make a real difference in our country. We need to show them we will not put up with Trump and his minions!

Milton your passion is heard and felt. I put more trust in the American people like yourself then I do with the Politicians that are destroying this great Country of ours. Runfor office Milton. I think you would be a great candidate, really. The only person in power you can trust is yourself. Just a thought my friend...

Oh, my, that's very complimentary, Michael. But I'm much much too old for the stamina required to run for office. I do appreciate your confidence, but I'll have to do what I can do from where I am. That'll have to suffice at this point in my life.
