I can’t believe you’re not in the world anymore.
It’s like someone turned off all the lights
And the world went home.
The party, prematurely cut off—
Your face contours etched into my biology.

I feel you in every empty space,
Every pregnant pause.
You are the words I’ve forgotten,
The car keys I lost.
You are the second before I wake up,

gold mist strokes valleys
of grasshoppers and blue jays

plum time walks slower

A Touching Reflection

The clock ticks, and Time slips by,
Amass less! Let’s all give it a try,
Eyes closed, thoughts flow, of memories recalled 
from pictures on the wall,
Back to the time of a rising to a call:
A plea to help the oppressed regain their smile.

With so many faces from so many races,
All from different places.
Music playing, bodies swaying.

Touching, is that open-hearted way,
that you laugh and cry all at once.

I see you, a you
made visible to the living moment.
You reflect light in dark eyes,
hide nothing,
give yourself away.

If I could love you more,
I should have to become rain
upon your lips,
for days I would gently
pour out into you.

would find itself in

What does it mean to caress someone?
Means to stroke it gently in a loving affectionate manner;

Moment to moment, all moments entwined,
I feel the touch of magnetism divine,
the source of which, by mind is not divined
so to know the truth, with heart I align.
With this preamble, let’s step back in time,
that I may share how this romance began,
whose first tingle, was a soundless love chime,
of God performing a full body scan.
