There once was a certain floozie
Who sang just like a chantoozie
Not in smoky night clubs
But in outback pubs
It happened when she got quite boozy.
but while walking through
the botanical gardens in Florence
it was all my husband
could focus on
He told me as we huffed it up the hill
that they built a cemetery on top
for morons like us
Neither of us looked up
at the symmetry of trees
or the truest blue
of the Mediterranean
that winked at us
in clean clarity below
Ten years of marriage
equates to hiking up a hill in July
and sweating in the hope
of something special ahead
“Keep walking, less talking”
I told him
Every turn brought another hill
Even the air was tired of constant providing
We didn’t find squirrels
but there were plastic chairs
next to the cemetery
There is no night when there is light
When there is light there is no night
The light in you makes right
You make right the light in you
You become the light when it is right
When it is right you become the light
Getting past Mezzo's
Meddling has been a chore
For me to
Yeah and you and the
Soprano bothered me to
Since you chose me
A high compliment
I say I do
Auh ooh auh
I'm in love
With you!

There is nothing eternal.
Therefore, we cannot be bound.
Yet, look upon reality!
With bound iron chains
Shouldered upon our backs,
We begin an invisible war.
"We win, and sometimes we fall."
There is something eternal.
Therefore, we are bound.
"In the name of family,"
With fused iron chains
Locked tightly against my chest,
In your name and mine,
We plant our flag upon this earth!

Waves eroded the stones
on the shore line where
for ages the days and nights
had been subject
to the tides of the sea.
Such habits of the sea
the high tides
and low tides
make the hungry visiters
here caustious
they gather here in morning
to harvest the crustains
for breakfast
somemussels, periwinkles, limpets,
and oysters, naturally live and cling
to shoreline rocks in intertidal zonede
puration or purging

the bucket's cold aura
blooms in white,
though planted seeds,
already read your eyes.
one day's rain
trips out of her rust,
and holds sun,
or a northern hand;
becoming the light
for the ground, made wide
God's weeping
returns weeping —
full like water filling up steel;
pain...now a lily.
There was a time
That I was all alone
Trying to find
Someone to be my friend
It was very hard to do
Until you came into my life
And I felt no longer alone
I loved spending time with you
Friend please don't put me down
I just hate that very much
I hope you will be my friend
Forever
Also please don't hurt me
And also don't play games with my
Feelings
Because you are going
To hurt me
Also you are everything
I have
There
Is that which
Cannot be
Communicated
Yet words form
And may pretend
To have broken
The code
But the code and
The words are
Already that
A tale of futility
But kinda fun..
there is a gravity to you
an existence that bends light
into an aurora capturing each moment
a curvature surrounding existence
where memories of long ago reside outside time
when you came into my life
almost caught in a trance
where eternity dissolves into seconds
my eyes grasp you, spellbound
there is a gravity to you

There once were two lovers from Spain
Caught getting frisky on a train.
Sweaty and coiled,
Their passions embroiled,
While the conductor charged onlookers to remain.
heavy
presence that lies
between valley and hill
below sky, over the ocean
looming
(Fireflies dance in a circle
In barren shrubs, alone.
But I am not there.
New highways of
My city calls me home,
But I am not there.)
Flowers must have sprung
In the spring along the Hesco site,
I was fourteen with a friend there
Sixteen in a rainy ride,
I turned seventeen there with my beloved.
nineteen and I yearn for it’s sight.
Winterline sneaks out in the evening,
The sky sheds color till twilight,
In my ear, echoes call for long walks
And conversations in the absence of light.
an old couple walks there still,
I miss watching the love stroll of autumn nights.
(A road circles back to my school,
But I won’t be there,
Mother’s voice trembles in my absence,
But I won’t be there)
On the inaccessible peak,
There must be flowers—
Soft as whispers, bright as stars,
Untouched by earthly hours.
No hand may pluck their Grace,
No foot may mar their place—
On the inaccessible peak,
There must be flowers.
Oh, the seekers come and go,
Clutching truths they’ll never know—
But the summit, cold and deep,
Guards its bloom in sacred sleep.
Veils of mist obscure the climb,
Fate selects the few to find.
What is pure will not be seen,
By the eyes that crowd between.
On the inaccessible peak, there must be flowers,
White as the dawn, untouched by hours.
No voice to name them, no step to mar,
They gleam like vows on heights afar.
On the inaccessible peak,
There must be flowers—
Untouched by the seekers who climb,
Unspoiled by hours.
Where no voice calls,
And no foot treads at all,
On the inaccessible peak,
There must be flowers.
And if one soul, by Grace, should rise,
They’ll find the bloom… with chastened eyes.
They kneel in the temple of silence,
Where echoes dare not break the air—
The chosen, the cold, and the blameless,
Alone are permitted there.
there is the knower and the known
where the known would know the knower
to which end he does then atone
by making all movements slower
the knower is wherefrom flows will
so how is the urge to know born
that seeming voids within may fill
when through cessation ego’s shorn
borrowed is creative instinct
though not quite choice not to react
whence bliss vibrance in the void inked
forges then with God a firm pact
no one ascends though it seems so ~
this truth is known in stillness slow
