Taring Poems

Premium MemberJesus

Jesus

The blood dripped from His forehead mixed with the tears
Of His sad eyes, all for me.
The crown of thorns bore my evil thoughts.
I put it there; He felt the pain of every sin I had committed.
I wept,
He was mocked with my words, spit on by my arrogance.
The beard ripped from his sweet face from my disobedience.
I wept,
Lash after lash with a whip made of my choices of the world,
Taring into his precious body with my hand of hatred.
I wept,
They laid Him on a cross made from my hard heart,
Over and over, they drove nails created from my anger into His beautiful hands and feet.
I wept
I watched Him hanging there enduring the pain of my sin,
His blood spilling for me.
He looked at me with His warm eyes and through the pain He smiled.
It is finished, He humbly whispered.
I wept,
My sin debt paid!
With his last breath birthed a new covenant.
It was not over, as many thought.
Oh, how I wept.

Madness

#poetry
 Madness

Take me away,  far far away to your madness;
In your asylum of thoughts you do deny, and you punish me to fuel your unforgiving lie.

Take me away, up up up into your cloud
where my heart does death and dies;
Wish me then, an unwellness there, on your cloud of pretence, and I see it , the fool in your eyes .

Crow in the trees , you chorus your sqawrk of dis ease ;
I,  my heart broken to your  content;  You are  pleased to tare me apart;  I know of your  judgement;

Here on the  cloud of sorrow;  On your branch you squawrk and you flap,  scratching your itch, taring my heart apart; It's your rap,  where your words and complaints and  your explanations of no sorry you sent;
Echoes the alarm , take me far far away to your madness, bent up in your arms .

Dancing In the Rain

I Keep Trying To Fight,
This Feeling I Feel Deep Inside,
By Trying To Hide and Lie All The Time,
Covering Up My Heart With This Wall Of Art,
Its Taring Me Apart,
It's About Time I Came Out Of The Dark,
Just Like Noah Did With The Ark,
I Finally Manifested All Of My Dreams
and All I Had To Do Was Believe In Myself,
I Didnt Need Anyone Else,
To Many People Are Fake
and I'm Not The One To Relate,
That's Not In My DNA,
That's Just Not How I'm Made,
I'm Not Out Here Playing Games,
 Being The Same,
That Would Be Lame,
So I Stay In My Own Lane,
Letting Go Of All This Pain,
While Dancing In The Rain,
Regardless Through It All Authenticity,
Still Remains To Run Inside My Veins....

Bernie Loves His Gloves

Bernie Loves His Gloves

Bernie loves his gloves
Which were sent from God above
with two turtle doves

through thick and thin
Bernie wearing gloves has been
so give him more skin

Except during pandemic.

Bernie has been thrilled
with gloves his bedroom is filled
overflowed and spilled

rules Bernie bended
wore his gloves which are splendid
more laws amended

gloves Bernie would wear
after taring out his hair
head has become bare

Bernie will bake a cake
wear both gloves his wife would make
later threw in lake

while wearing a tan
Bernice received gloves from a fan
which soon they would ban

Petals With Love

A heart was frozen
For it was broken
The search was deep
Was lost through sleep
Quantum physics
The rules of etiquette
Poetic justice
A worthy apprentice
From Yin and yang
Which many sang
In love we trust
Why must we rush
Bless us when we are tired
To find the strength required
Taring down the walls
The world is not so small
Love grew for the land
For she lent out her hand
It prospered
Oxford would be honored
Too hard to conceive
Breath!
Shelter your grief
Life was meant for belief
Be sure to remember we will cross
Memories in which we thought we had lost

The Good Old Days Not For Contest

Taking your sisters skates
taring them apart
nailing them to wood
skating to the park

Selling homing pigeons
For fifty cents
waiting for their return
Then, selling them once again

My first kiss not on the lips
going steady for an hour
breaking up under a tower,
then looking for another kiss.

Getting swats over a bench,
my parents getting pissed,
while my butt was in pain,
that was not my wish,

Listening in on a party line,
laughing was such fun,
Mildred could not tell,
We knew Joe was under her spell

Running though the halls
chasing girls with tether balls,
Valentine cards with,
candy kisses we knew it all,

Best Wishes!

With a Stroke In the Key

Taring i...................o.............. ............................n...... .............................s
apart
with a stroke in the key
of me
sharp
Candy floss stations at the back of my mind
eat as much as you want
You will lose it on the ride
Those neon signs
give the sick an ambient glow
I'm going out
leave the key on the mat

Eyes Don'T Lie

Gaze into one's eyes..
You shall see one's truth
You shall feel one's truth..

The eyes contain depth..
There lies no deep dark secrets..
Secrets reside deep within..
Swims beneath one's ocean..
An ocean of which is inside all of us..

Inside one's ocean is years of pain..
Blades of a knife..
Cutting and taring away..
Accumulations are within your ocean.
At times they remain stagnant..
At times they arise..
Exposure occurs..
Realization of one's ocean within..
Had been submerged in dark murky waters
Had been swimming beneath your ocean ..
Inside..
Shark infested waters ..

Inside your ocean there is all of you..
Not only your pain..
There is your joy..
Your loving moments..
Memories creating nostalgic moments..
They swim along inside of you..
Within your ocean..

All had reached the top..
The surface of the ocean..
It shall always be your own truth..

Your beautiful eyes..
Is the surface of your ocean..

Gaze into one's eyes..
You shall see..
The surface of the ocean..
Connected to the window of the soul..

Your beautiful eyes don't lie..

Even though I read tribute poems at your memorial service I still
Can’t believe that you both died aged just 19 and 20.
Staring me in the face when I open my cupboard are the plastic beakers
That you and your brother drank from when you played at our house -
All it took to lose your lives was powerful Ecstasy tablets
Such a tragedy that we will never ever get over …
You are always in my thoughts Jacques and Torin.

Premium MemberThe Rusty Carcass

The shell remains, picked clean by
Hungry vultures, ravenous with greed-
Eyes, gouged out, now vacant in their stare.

Raw morsels of choice bits and parts,
Unsparingly stripped or torn away, and
Soft gutted vitals furtively devoured,
Totally filled the needs of scavengers who
Yielded to hunger and shared the feast.

Cruelly, the carcass rests on bony frame
Although once supported by plump,
Round parts, on which it mightily ran-
Crushed and crumpled, now an empty shell.
Abandoned, there it lies- the scavenged,
Shattered, rusty, ravaged Chevy-
Staring- lifeless, amid the weeds and grass.

M esmerizingly in summer’s skies.
M idnight’s beauty to my soul is singing.
E ternity is staring back at me,
R esiding in this radiance I see.

M yriads of nights like this have come and gone.
O ther nights will follow; the moon will bring
O palescent grace to heaven’s song.

I'Ve Made Mistakes

Everyday I can look in your eyes, wondering why you choose me to be there by your side.
Sometimes all I want to do is cry because I feel so much pain inside.
Thinking back to all the mistakes I've made, and you forgiving me in every single way.
It puts this pain inside of me because I know that there's no trust and it's really hurting us.
It's taring us apart and it's hurting my heart, knowing you don't trust me at all.
You need to learn to trust me,cause I'm trying to gain it back can't you see, it's killing me.
I'm so tired of getting accused of it all.when I'm not doing nothing wrong .so please just learn to trust me.so we can work on our problems you and me.
Get past all the jealousy.

Like a Phoenix

staring at this moment
into the clear sky
at the stars i gaze
admiring their marveling blaze
I wish i could fly breaking these restrains
reaching heights taring these chains
into freedom deep i would dive
like a phoenix in the wind
wings spread far wide
cloacking the past behind
from ashes i would rise
towards the cosmos high
one two three, four and five
around the world i shall try
over the mountain
across the ocean
swoop up and down in motion
like a fire breathing golden dragon
i would venture in a dungeon
dare an adventure none can mention

Anger

The drug that I use
Makes me abuse
Tempers fuse
But don't get confused
The drug is anger
It causes danger
And cliff hangers
Flesh & bone banger
My heart is thumping
Adrenaline pumping
Veins are jumping
Fist to wall bumping
I can't control
My head is swole
There is a hole
That sucks in my soul
Blood is racing
Got me pacing
The edge I'm facing
There is no tracing
Temple is flaring
Nothing is baring
I'm not caring
My skin is taring
I'm angry
