POINT ZERO

POINT ZERO

Birth slipped into fast flowing
rivers of patterned fissures
her arching brows brazen
searching sagaciously
microscoping every moment
tangoing across thorny
thickets

Hope gazed at her prayer
puzzle poised with pensive
pencils plaintively planting
plantains for pink parakeet
caressing spines singing
softly stirring custard
pudding

Love thought she was best
berry fruit from which fragrant
juice poured jetting jewels
a silver sabre silently stared
further from truth she stood
a sacked saga sagged

Death smiled enigmatically
held Birth, Hope and Love
in oblong esteem observing
Time’s oval ovaries to strike
sublime a node through
which she sodium sucked

Point Zero zipped in sidelong
zaps dishing each zappy
zodiac zones showering
all four with Infinity’s
zygotes zooming

Point Zero was Hero !

Premium MemberReflections From My Windows

Reflections on my television, from my window late last night
Had the moon and stars on it, and it made it look all white
Reflections from some raindrops, from the window on my door
They were painting drips like chocolate chips, on my polished floor
Reflections all in colours, from my hanging crystal ball
They were scrambling like a kaleidoscope, on my windowed wall
Reflections of trees swaying, rapid when the wind blows
Made it look like dancing leaves, were tangoing on my windows

Premium MemberDreaming of Creamsicle

Dreaming of creamsicle
vanilla and orange swirls
My tongue is swimming,
diving into the delectable
spoonfuls of tangoing
flavors of joy-bursting “ahh.”
Better yet - creamsicle milkshake,
that goes straight to the mind
with “oohs” and “ahhs.”
It’s only a dream. A tribute.
Only one spoonful -
it, sits on my tongue,
cold and dangerous,
then the current takes it in
like a sin. Sinful not
to lavish one bite.

sordid floors
dark paths
lily scented nights
crispy country air
crackling fireplaces
shadows under the moon
sounds of the night
silence in the dark
mingling
tangoing

the twirling dance

Premium MemberDear John,

john died..

his earthly bones offered to sediment
tangoing with gold flecks and blight
his soul woven into the tapestry
of eternal light

before he left
he sowed rows of gems
across the universal garden
for birds of paradise
to
perch upon
breath in
gently palm
weave nests
temper feral hearts
with waves of warmly calm

john died..

A node between Bindu and Medulla
brightens, enlivened by the bliss current,
tangoing in tandem with the Ajna,
while spacial heart looks on in contentment,
at ignition defying containment.
The energy path is mysterious,
unmistakable and continuous
in the pulsations within manifest,
myriad prismatic hues beauteous,
as purring bliss reaches for higher crests.

Premium MemberWhen the Eyes Opened You Disappeared Lovely

I am asleep when you entered the mind

walking into this dream awakening from behind clouds

the fragrance of thoughts captivate an inner vision

Dancing upon whispers began the soul's tangoing inside

an artistic expression appears behind the mirrors

mysteriously alluring captured within a heartbeat

Forever dazzling most radiantly dressed starlight beauty

Premium MemberKissing Lips

As his moist lips touched mines
everything in the world vanished.

It was just him and I in this big
universe.

I had never felt such bliss
It all started with one a kiss

As his succulent lips left mines
I felt their imprint all day long

I never tire of his lips tangoing
with mines

Pale Shelter

Is this real?
Why say it is
 when you know
it isn't true, this isn't reality.

It's the dream
you take me with seductive guile
 and all the while,
 the lie becomes the truth,
it hides and cowers beneath your smile.

You are the deceiver
 the magic man,
 the great pretender
setting heart and soul afire with passion, lust, desire.

Hold me close,
love me as you love yourself
 promise me the dream
and here together we can hide
in your labyrinth of unsheltered schemes.

This is real, the reality
of everlasting dreams in ice castles
unending and melting in its lies display,
the lovers' dream of two, tangoing in pale shelter.

A Go Go

the rain is
now dancing
on my roof

sounding
like
flamenco

but i want
to with you
dance a tango

a rose
in my teeth
a rose

in my arms
as well as
in my feet

dipping you
down
not

wanting to
bring you up
but

rather let
you slip
down

to the ground
where we will
dance

romantically
tangoing on
the floor

Peddling Angst On Main Street

I woke again to fight a war, the
same as yesterday. Plastic shield
met blood-stained boot in blistered

feet of tattered youth. Ideals ran
amok at dawn then parsed the
evening’s jagged light when night

shoes danced with tangoing flames
on buses, cars, the random truck.
Smoke choked every lung. I was the

field you plowed to sow your grains
of holy manna on. Step lightly through
my troubled doors, I’ll make you

whole, I’ll clone your form. Of known
and knowing, I’ll pretend the beast, in
dreams, was slain. To live here is to die,
well, then, redundant is this war.

The Joys of Our Mother

THE JOYS OF OUR MOTHER

Before Eko learn how to pronounce his name,
Let him learn to brother his brothers
And the older brothers from broader brother too.
For this is the way of the soldier-ants
Who will never bid a bleeding brother by the border.
Right from 1914
When our mothers bled out tears from their pristine vagina,
Till the early sixties
When our big uncles
fought a viscous battle with the European battalions
To ensure our liberty;
We've been here tangoing.
And now, let the dance continue
And the music knows no stop.
For together, we drank the frowzy portion from Nigeria
When the 'Long-Noses' sell their language to us.
Oh! I'll keep calling my brother's name with it
And my brothers, mine.
The warm-fuzzies of drinking in this jorum
Shall be; when a load is to be carried,
The whole fingers lend in their strength.
The broom never sweep with a stick.
The soldier-ants never barricade with just a soldier
So, when I answer my brother's name
And he answers mine too,
Mother will nod from her grave
"These are my sons".
And our voice shall pierce through the desert wind
To take our message to gods who feed on children skull.

Identity

A vestige lingers of my sweet Ginger sharing the treasure of What color is love?

Springtide fell according
Affliction bred
Tending a foundation; no longer perceived

Flailing in an undertow between the realms of fragmented desires while desperately yearning to reunite with what can never be

Convoluted tattoos pierced my being.
Tangled in encompassed departures - aspirations drowned

Wading no more-
Restraining from feverishly Tangoing in a bog-

Thus fluidly dodging the precursors and ancestry of my youth- they are not meant to be disturbed - nor used as weapons; subjectively or furnished by a barb

Incidentally, the capacities of experiences led to my vanguard, emerging through a pool of quicksilver,
accompanied with a tender disposition, united, benign and liberated

Premium MemberYour Candlelight

Silver tangoing with the shadows of thought
Light of a thousand stars sparkling winks
One beauty of a light explodes before the eyes

Batting lids fall as wings upon a vision swoop
Taking the heart away into a realm filled with joy
Inside airs in song sings within echo bounces

Soulful dreams come alive faraway distant memories
Landing squarely upon golden sandy beaches
We walked as one into paradise's shore

Freedom danced in the wild Atlantic waves
On each ripple comes a reflection kiss moon dances
Holding hands away from darkness sealed precious with love

looking into love your eyes
there's nowhere left in this world
I would rather be at this minute

Time stands still

Straying into a dream gem
bringing joy sighs to the heart
held captivated in a moment

Whispering

Happiness kisses your soul
can I be the light inside
your dark spaces dancing brightly night

One spirit

Silver shadows tangoing
together holding hands deep
footprints remain beautiful with you
