John Died

John died...
his earthly bones offered to sediment
tangoing with gold flecks and blight
his soul woven into the tapestry
of eternal light.

Before he left
he sowed rows of gems
across the universal garden
for birds of paradise
to
perch upon
breath in
gently palm
weave nests
temper feral hearts
with waves of warm calm

John died.
John the Poet died.

So incredibly sad; such a wonderful tribute. I feel your heartfelt grief. So well penned.
