IN THE TANGLED WEB OF TIME

How much longer in time,
Must we victims of injustice,
Still march and sing—our feet
Grown weary as facades of justice
Quietly seek to deafen our voices?
Today, we remain footnotes of history;
Ourstory, a cocooned legacy of
A pregnant dream hanging
In the tangled web of time:-
Matrices of pseudo gains,
Continue to tease unripe minds
With bigoted scams of liberty.
Today, in due time and due season,
We will rise from the pit we’re now in—
Rise and catch the fallen dream,
And lay it in the warm nest of the bosom
Of liberation—incubating the waiting vision
Of our destined realities, singing redemption songs:
Ringing bells of freedom, dancing to the beat of liberty:-
Indeed, the flame of determination burns eternally,
And the love-journey of the unshackled continues
On to the trysting place: Where we shall, in due time,
Come together in the onederful oneness of the
Onement of the peace and love of God’s liberation:-

Stolen good-bye

The silence, filled with whispers of turbulence
Crashed against the tide of an ephemeral moment
Perhaps fate has a strange way of entwining chaos
And we're meant to tie its loose ends with muddy hands

The affinity to tangle even the simplest ties
Is perhaps what's most befuddling
Yet I stand here
Pondering on this connection-
With our fitted glances and stolen good-byes

Could it have been any different?

Seaweed Chains

Washed by tides, tangle inevitable,
Lurking licking tongues, tiger whisker weed
   Undercurrent gritty slippery tendrils -
Barb trusting toes with camouflaged cat creed

   Wet predator paws apply pressure
Leeching life from faithful feet, farcical
   Undulating grass, salty claws sever
Blades gash slices, cut soles grow barnacles

   February silk ribbon Valentine
Loch Ness of Labrador's fatal lagoon
Spiralled willing limbs in sanguine brown twine
   Infatuated padlocked throat caused swoon

   Hapless lass captured by Amoretto
Dapper lethal lech Don Juan Otto

The Tangle Man

My other man was birthed on the back of my son.

My other man was broken in mouth, thought and dream.

My other man was built from torn jigsaw puzzle pieces and self-loathing.

My other man roamed disused houses of neglect.

My other man distorted my face, back, legs and arms.

My other man intended harm.

My other man wanted to crawl inside you.

My other man was my Father.

My other man was my Grandmother.

My other man was my fears inverted.

My other man made others bored.

My other man made others laugh.

My other man made others cry.

My other man made others faint.

My other man made others vomit.

My other man wanted to lead you up the garden path and leave you there.

My other man hated you.

Hated you.

Absolutely.

Premium Member Text Tangle

She sends her mom texts about how insane her father is acting.
Her husband sends her texts, explaining his daughter is being unreasonable.
She turns to me, her mother.
Fifty years, she says. I could never do fifty years.
I know, I reply.
I would have gotten out by now if I had murdered three people.
He is being unreasonable, she told me.
Taking the daughter’s side.
But silently.

I am a lost for words
my tangle thoughts are but a tangle of words
I’ve gone so far on this poem/random thoughts of words
I’m uneasy at the outcome of my thoughts
So be fair in response
As this I am not of stone but of flesh and bone

Autumn Tangle

With a nod from the heavens
The seasons tangle
Eternity shifts again
Falling leaves settle annon
A last windswept rustling
Proof that peace is usurped
And replaced with the divine
Truth read in vapors
Of inexorable darkness

Tongue Tangle

Fools war to their core, but what do fools war for,
ignoring all wars before,
a course of awful war falls as unlawful war fools on horses call for war,
once more, a war not small for all to endure,
and war fools at war with forces are thoughtless overall,
cus war fools fall forward with force from horses
face first to floors with thorn spicule that thorn the fallen,
a result of faults that halt the war horses,
who in short abort the fortress for the port,
til fools have no more resources,
hostages behind doors eating sour sauces,
and what's more we're not sure what the source of war is,
or reward is, for these awful war fools
and their unlawful forces that fall to floors with thorns in wars from horses,
still war fools war galore and horses gallop to the shore.

Premium Member Love Bush

Love is not a rose
But like the bush
On which it grows.

Stems with prickly skins
Tangle and twist
To upward grow.

You paint bright the blooms;
I tithe the thorns
To twining grow.

Given green petals,
And half a chance,
Love’s bush will grow.

MY LOVE
IS A KNOT
TWISTED
AND TANGLED
AND YOUR LOVE
IS A NOOSE
WRAPPED TIGHT
AROUND MY NECK.

Life Tangle

Life Tangle:
Crimson births a isometric mind,
Crystal vases made of wood and pine.
Onyx stones of foulest find,
Like wallowing trees of you and I

There lies rubies of a nature so far,
There lies diamonds made of blood and coal,

The whole purpose of creativity
Is divinity in twinned

Forget I and remember He,
The Holy image of life
That was always suppose to be.

If your heart is broken and your love denied
and your eyes are swollen with all the tears you cried.

when your mind is restless and you cannot go to sleep
with your emotions in a tangle running very deep.

Give your self some time this will make it heal
And change the way you think and the way you feel.

Start again once more open up your heart and pray more deep to God,
Begin your life a new and make a brand new start.

Uniform Tangle

So I see how cruel life may be in a minute,
All around people’s faces gleam & glare
At my gloomy face but never see my net.
And I cry and cry and cry to get ‘em fair.

From times past, I knew of what may be
The finale of this sweet short time gained;
But now it comes with great dismay, to me.
With thoughts of melancholy stained.

Am losing my job to my brother,
I teach him my work as a father
Does to his sons and to the other,
He knows not my hearts as they gather.

They give a life, a life they can’t retain,
They offer me a choice, a choice not mine;
They lead me to the grave, to bury me and the ten;
But they in turn smile and smile as they dine

And so I see that they are not to be
The people I perceive may little see,
My serene into whirlwind occur to me
At a peek and glaze and short see.

Whatever the Asian will decide,
However I cope with them all,
I implore all the good to side
With me as evil entirely will fall.

Tangle

Crackled leaves and vines,
Plants tangled, flowers dead,
The forest was ill
