Premium MemberWaiting in The Lion Dance Chinese Take Away

I sit on a straight back
red vinyl chair
in a Chinese Take Away
waiting for my beef
and black bean sauce,
pork chow mein and a serving
of special fried rice - hear
from behind a beaded rainbow
coloured curtain the sizzle
and spit of hot oil, the constant
sound of a ladle scraping
the sides of a wok, smell
a symphony of smells
that run a river of saliva
across my wanton tongue -
then silence, seconds
seem like minutes until,
“your order is ready sir”,
and at that moment
all the loveliness
of the world becomes
boxed and cradled
in a Lion Dance labelled
take away carry bag.

Note for American readers.
In Australia we use the term
Take Away instead of Take Out.
Same thing. Not sure of the term
used in the UK or elsewhere.

When Trump Talks, My Trades Walk

I was sipping tea, so calm, so sweet,
Charts were clean, no sign of heat.
NY session, chill as can be,
Then—BOOM!—the news comes straight for me:

“Trump is back, and he's not done—
More tariffs, more drama, more Twitter fun!”

He taxed China, slapped their goods,
Markets flipped—I lost my “shoulds.”
Steel from Canada? Hit with a fee,
Even Mexico got no trading glee.

The EU cried, “C’mon, that’s rough!”
But Trump said, “We’re playing tough!”
Aluminum, cars, tech and trade—
One tweet from him, and pips get slayed.

My EUR/USD took a nosedive trip,
I watched my SL… then lost my grip.
I yelled, “NOT AGAIN! Not this chart!”
Trump’s tweet just ripped my setup apart.

But I’m a trader—I wipe my tears,
Been dancing with markets for 5 long years.
I suited up, with sniper glare,
Revenge is pips—I scalped with flair.

So when Trump tweets and markets spin,
I don’t panic—I dive right in.
A little chaos? That’s my jam,
I’ll milk that news—thank you, fam!

Lesson learned: in this trading game,
Even Trump can bring you fame.
If you play it smart, catch that spike—
You’ll turn his tweets into profit-like.

Take Away My Shame

Take away my shame
They go for the award
I go for the message
They want to be popular
I just want a legacy
They are money hungry
In disguise of motivators
I fish them out and remark them
With the songs of my soul
No wonder they don't love my shadow
They can always smell me from afar
Like the dog they want to be
I wonder why they cant learn
I wonder why they keep on being
Egoistic
I wonder what value they think they
Worth
Just to be number one
In a world of illusion

Take away my shame
And protect my path oh God
Cos there are so many vultures
Waiting in vain just to eat me up
Off curse they got no power since
Am alive
They know who I am
When I step up with my songs
They can't stand the truth
But can destroy it and replace
Illusion to humanity
They worship money
And the rest of us
Worth nothing if we got no names
Am too busy living my life
They are busy comparing my life
I got no hate despite I know
Not everyone I know loves me
This is why I hid to the call
Of nature cos always it
Take away my shame

A dedication

Only God Knows When To Take Away the Altar

A year: good, fair or bad has come and gone
The fairy tale you tell may be touching
Satan tried but no reason so to morn
Of your past, it has not been that clutching

Lord called and draw away you from the world
Yet tough but thou search not of other way
Of priesthood's challenges you've unfurled
Humility cum your eon's hooray

Though no where has defeats enough as grave
Our eon may be cruel:somewhat paradise
Wherever you are your father's ways have
When the seed dies then, new life set to rise

Rejoice of birthday and shout with laughter
Cos for you-- DEATH Jesus holds and slaughter

Premium MemberFast Food, Fast Death

Let’s get some pizzas nice and cheesy

Nothing to cook, life is easy

Another quick fix, just what we need

Fast food, at lightning speed.

Food can fix most of our troubles

Deliveroo, comes to our homely bubble

Stay in and they deliver

Bad for your heart, bad for your liver

A gallon of coke, quench your thirst

Rot your teeth, a trip in a hearse

Your fast-food gut expands and enlarges

Let’s a buy a fourteen-seat sofa

For a couple of barges.

Look in the mirror a gastric disaster

Use some pills as a sticking plaster

Fatigue, couples the weariness of sloth

Cheese up some bread and finish the loaf.

Let No One Take Away Your Happiness

Let no one take away your happiness

Happiness is precious
It is sweet
It is a gift

A gift somany don't have
But pretend to be

So protect your inner self
Protect your source of joy

Don't let the world
To steal it away from you

Don't let the challenges
Of life walk you out from
Your happiness

Your are better happier
Than regret

who ever brings you down from
Your cloud of joy
Does not bring happiness to your heart

So protect your joy and
Let no one take away your happiness

Take Away My Soul

I want to be lost,
As bored with this world.
Harmed the whole nature almost,
God should tie it a strong long bridle.

Nasty, fasty, humans,
Damaging the reality.
Some one come ahead of the crewman,
Can someone come ahead confidenlity?

My soul is becoming black,
Without this nature.
But I will not give up,
I will save all the creatures.

Mind is so dangerous,
Can not stop thinking.
Without the nature life is not adventurous,
But humans damage it in a short blinking.

Premium MemberCruel To Give and Then Take Away

The wind would blow alluring strands of your soul, tickling seductively, weaving like a candle flame lyric, where it danced provocatively. You fondled the depth whirling to the surface edge taking a little hope with you; then flew away. You cannot ask and then leave me brittle.

Soon Take Away

I watch daily as you traverse in life
Throughout the moments of your day
I feel your sorrow, I feel your pain
As you are lost in your worldly ways

Many times I try to get your attention
Yet so often you are too blind to see
That in your world of hustle and bustle
You now have a much greater need of me

You do not realize all that you see daily
Has a predestined day and time to fade away
But you fervently consume all that's before you
Hoping in this dying world you will stay

Yes, there is a time and a place for everything
When all that lives will certainly pass away
All that lives in this world has one true breath
That will return to its beginning place one day

Take not a moment in your daily life for granted
Heed carefully all the many warning signs you see
Repent and return your heart to my everlasting love
And your spirit will enjoy eternal times with me.

God Does Give and Take Away

Yes, God does give and take away
but when He gives, it is a gift
a truth your life so well portrays,
the one our lives were well spent with.
Our minds and hearts they cling to you
sifting through every memory
to find the best of you to be
what God chose to invest in me.

Yes, God does give and take away
and when He takes the time is right
and though it bring our eyes to tears
your passing was no oversight.
He knew that you would be well prepared
to sit down at the Masters side
rewarded for how well you fared,
you proved your worth every stride.

Yes, God does give and take away,
sometimes He does not give at all,
to have had you was a priviledge
from your day of birth till the day He called.
Never knowing you would have been the loss
one we now know we could not afford
because having you, as God gave with love
stands to prove He always gave enough.

Join Strong-- Take Away What's Going Wrong

There is no reason or rhyme
Day after time, time after time
We hurt others for no reason
It's like something has been squeezin'
The love from everyone's heart
We need to make a brand new start
So hugs are the only thing
We are squeezin' as we bring
More caring and much less hate
Believe me it is not too late
For making a world full of
Kindness, friendship and the love
That's been missing-- really needing
From the hurt that has us bleeding
So much pain-- unhappy sorrow
Let's make a better tomorrow
Joining together as one
New beginnings have begun

Premium MemberTime Can'T Take Away

The changing times,
the invisible wrap on the virtual space,
we call ours in the deceptive world
where we truly don’t belong
because our footprints fade in deserted life
swept by the blowing sands of time
throwing us out of the niche we call ours,
to where we turn into faceless aliens
struggling to measure the matrix of change,
an effort some say futile,
searching the green in the wasteland,
for the turning time will change
in the destined pattern it designs for us
in the kaleidoscopic show of life.

Let us not lament on what we’ve lost
to the times that receded untraced
to the dispossessed obscure past.
Let us celebrate what the present gives
in the real time and space we all share.
Let us step into the New Year
with the resolve to weave the tapestry of life
with the common strands of bliss and joy,
no time can take away from us.

Friends - You Give - But Then You Take Away

You give to me
But then you take
I suppose that was my mistake

I know now what not to do
And that is ever trust you

I will therefore go on my way
Still saying what I need to say

And live my life free every day
Without you or your devious ways

It’s my life to live and not yours
So you keep to your own chores

And if you have something to say
Then just speak to me on the day

Just don’t leave me wondering why
The reasons you must make me cry

Give don’t take is still my motto
Until at least tomorrow

When I may take and not then give

To you my friendship

Take Away Right of Way

These just came to me between 0500 and 0800 this morning Jan 06, 2018.

When You Take Away Right of Way

When you take away right of way,
And also along with right to say,
If you amend,
We commend;
From rules people seem to stray.

You Take Away the Coldness of My Life

In a day of trouble my hopes to vision in times
Of weaknesses; my uncertain thoughts in dreams,
Things aren't the same that I expected.
You take away the coldness of my life.

In my lonely heart, aching pain of body
And mind no one can touch reach me,
To my lowly desperate time.
You take away the coldness of my life.

In my struggle ahead  in day to day activities;
Worry mind, financial matter include, relationship
Involve, in my moment time like this.
You take away the coldness of my life.

In every step of my way in a road I am walking by,
Don't know where I'm going, you point me to the
Direction you want me to go, in a daily step of the day.
You take away the coldness of my life.

In my silent moment, you teach me to sing a song
For you that gives me a delightful expression of
My heart. You open my eyes to the beauty of your
Wholeness that can carry through to my life destination,
Indeed: You take away the coldness of my life.

My loneliness, my distress, my pain and sorrow,
And my hopelessness. You are there, to take away
The coldness of my life.
