Firefly
We were sleeping on balmy nights
Blinds were awakening in sticky October
People were waiting and whispering during the flight
Mob was ecstatic and somber.
Sylph, a beautiful nymph emerges from nowhere
She rushes and lushes everywhere
She fused folks around the globe
She knows how to handle the mob!
Glowing with grace and dignity
She wears the mask of purity
She is the little princess of another planet
People call and admire her rarity.
Sometimes she seems like the butterfly of words worth
Sometimes she is the song of autumn of Keats
Sometimes she is lyrics of Shelley's wind
And sometimes, she is the Muse of Earth.
Her aura is majestic and ecstatic
She is the unheard poem of Romantics
People name her Tajallah
She is the oxygen in universal law!

My springtime blood did flow a river’s rush
in stream bed’s cradle anchored to the land
as dreams rode jet streams to the cirrus strand.
I grew beneath the nimbus, thunder-lush
but autumn’s dry-leaf-drought did bring a hush…
though soul, a snowy owl, not stuck in sand,
as slowly stilled my river came to stand —
my thirst now nursed by rapture of the thrush.
I muse about this skin and skins worn past,
rebirth perhaps… a dolphin of the seas.
This river turned a ripple wanes tonight
surrender of what’s mortal… not the last.
My sigh the sylph that finds the Pleiades —
this breath I shed, a winter’s wisp of white.

The queen of the daylight lurks likes memories.
Then is gone her silky array of words in Bangla
Disappearing fast as the blue king of the night in Hindi,
She regains her place, moves back and forward,
sits in the throne of the dappled memories in English
wheels to stalls: maladies and wellness of the world.
Words are loaded with possibilities random,
many windows holding images and conceits
touching the rainbow in the limitless blue.
The queen has many rooms to her .
Lived with shades she keeps words as her guardian sylph
protecting from the valour of Words.
Pictures of delayed morning, each day that passes
in the thesaurus of words, memories of the night unfold.

Bonfire fly it’s light high into the nigh
A flicker where I see you countenance
Ironically to splay the feast
In that glimmer
Something simmered
Two never be released
Touch me, rub me, kissy
Ask you if you missy
Princess in a grim’s fantasies
Another night I sit to sing to the sky
Sang this sylph dirge mellifluously
Arc rampart tracing hearts in the stars
You took my breast beat from me
Hollowed out my chest cavity
Scalpel edge serrated blades
I gaze up velvet lips edict low whisper
Keep it no there is no returns
It’s broken

When the Moon fell in love with the night,
Her luminous knight held her ebony hand,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight
She wears a crown of constellations, a breath-taking sight,
And as mere mortals sleep, the nocturnal take stand,
When the Moon fell in love with the night
Uncomplaining, never ceasing, then at twilight;
She prepares the blanket of eventide for another land,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight
Infinite awe of wonder, Sylph of boundless flight,
The slumber of sleep waited for majestic command,
When the Moon fell in love with the night
Hypnotic plethora of aura, an observers delight,
A silent phenomenon only her realm can understand,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight
Her regal stillness exulted by the stars and her moonlight,
The allures of our universe, as they came forth to expand,
When the Moon fell in love with the night,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight

Doctor said I must lose weight
Sugar banned a thought I hate
No butter or cheese except low fat
My body will morph fancy that.
Off to gym in new sports gear
Going to sweat daily for a year
You think this is fun? your quite wrong
'Till I Collapse' my favourite song.
Each night exhausted I take a jog
Dear heaven above it's such a slog
Bedtime drink warm skimmed milk
No easy task to look like sylph.
Months rolled by still hitting gym
New way of life am now so thin
Resisting temptation I'm in to win
Aerobic trainer whose name is Slim.

With each of a feminine
Girlish swishing head
As one droll inhibited *
When not rainily diffused
Select gazing has confused
Worsen's waiting's grief
Up-swirls the one dear figure.
Sylph apparitions's!
So colours the emotions
As brighten a day's face-trait
Recognized alone of it
Gives this heart relief.

******This poem had special appeal to me in that a friend had brought up that I had a talent for poetry and he encouraged me to write more. I was very proud of this piece, which was written at one of my 'hideaways' where I find inspiration; nature poetry or what some call 'nature erotica'. This poem was anthologized, which makes me feel rather fortunate, since a publisher requested it among many other poets and great poems. I think I finally 'saw' what my friend had after it was officially published*****
Amid the sylvan shade,
the footpaths teem with wooded laugh,
the sylph she giggles atop aerie slumber,
tickled in soft-slender breeze;
the nectar dews,
meady-moss and carpet-leaves,
juniper and berry-sweet breath
She sings amid the sylvan shade
nothing to do but sigh and dream
her wanton-wistful way
The glade whispers wishes (weening)
tempered hush,
echoed odes of faerie-tongue forgotten rhyme,
But for the meadow and vale,
aerie eagle cries,
none has come but I;
to sit and ponder, and listen -----
homage,
amid the sylvan shade

The seas softly speak with voices that talismanically tweak,
Magical maids in their mystique porpoises of their physique…
Ambient aqua-marine waving seductresses of their craving,
A splashing sylph spraying through wandering waters braving…
Goddesses of the dousing deep show finesse as they leap,
Enchanting when they weep collecting desires for their keep…
Landing on our sandy shore all eyes on the deceptive décor,
Mystic Mermaids to adore Lorelei longing from the Ocean floor…
A siren seducer submersing a temptress of the water traversing,
Below lavender skies nursing her delinquent desires dispersing…
Mesmerizing mermaids silently sailing with their mermen tailing,
A sorceress in their scaling intoxicated by their Venus unveiling.

Tall, slender, supermodel tree,
elegant trunk dappled silvery milk.
Waif-like leaves dance in the breeze,
flirt and flutter, a skirt of silk.
Arms reach skyward, lean and long,
slim limbs covering sylph-like form.
Sinewy shoulders, but still strong,
stoop and sway in the surging storm.
Birds, taking cover, settle light,
build their nests and sing their songs,
squirrels scurry to highest height,
survey their kingdom, where they belong.
What tales could you tell, towering tree,
of flora, fauna, humans too?
What wisdom will you share with me?
I will listen with respect for you.

Buoyant
Inspired
Sylph in his eyes
Lost in the fog where restive hearts reside
Will she surrender her passionate flame?
It's all he wants
To be named
Whispered
Craved.

Angel Visits (2)
(1)
Rosebud pink dancers endome apricot flushed sky,
Arc'd feathering wingtips exult cirrus high,
Love's pleasured shades delight this thank full eye.
Fright held burden, released in healing long,
Freed heart sings anew, childhood's lost song.
Fierce joy streamers swirl, angels light this temple day.
Blossom hued fliers frolic in gladdest play,
Applaud a soul bravely facing acts hard to say.
(2)
We roast beneath violent radiation storm,
then above, though between,
draped arms outstretched, elegant graceful form
can be seen!
Sun's power becomes pastel rainbow streams,
clouds are called
Iridescent halo's, charge electric blue beams
we stand entralled
Our savior solar sylph!

Both true instances. However, the last image was captured on film. It has been enlarged and forms a focal point in main home area - reminding me of how close our other dimensional help always is. Now uploaded as my avatar.

With such feminine flamboyancy
this maiden sways in breathtaking movements
flashing, flitting, flaming a sweet minuet--
beneath a mural of moonlight’s alchemy,
her flared gown fair as sequined feathers
that midway, in birdsong's sultry melody,
her flight of fancy floats on my garden- floor
and like a magical sylph in tints of magenta,
she mingles with blooms on lawn's mainstage—
oh this femme fatale; a Mayflower,
mantling the pageant of summer's first festival!
