The mild breezes
Fragrances from the natural aromas of flowers
Romance stirring up the warmth
The enjoyment of the outdoors
Beauty of Flower colors
Distinction at its best
Dazzling the senses
Refreshing thoughts
Conversations one to one another
Coming out of hibernations
The feeling in what spring brings
April Showers May flowers
Spring step out
The sun that shines
Togetherness all genuine
Spring forth
Perfect time to spring out
The Spring season applause as people move about.
Socks, shoes, sweater, jeans
and then thermal underwear;
winter coming fast.
No!
Cotton tee, cotton shorts , no socks, sandals only;
Thermal underwear stored away~
Spring is in the air.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And the birds are chirping
And singing their happy songs.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And the bees are pollinating the
Blossoms in the flowers and trees.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
But there is another side to Spring
To which we should all be aware.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And we are enthralled by its beauty.
But be wise and advised of its dark side.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
But that doesn't mean
We don't have a care.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And so are mosquitoes
And other undesirables.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And so are allergenic pollens.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And so are bees and wasps.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And hibernators are out.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And the snow is melting,
Causing massive landslides
And flooding the lowlands.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And flies, flees, and snakes
Are looking for things to eat.
SPRING IS IN THE AIR
And it's a great time of the year.
And we need not worry, fret, or fear.
But there are some things out there
That might engender a tear.

A pleasant gasp of warm air appears to give me sweet reprieve
suddenly I feel alive and it is easy to believe
that every flower blooms
just to take away my gloom
tis the season most enchanting with her open hearted weave
she entwines my soul with wonder like a moth of ivory white
resting softly on my shoulder I am feeling oh so light
blessed month of April
you who blessed my silver maple
elevating me to new heights you raise me up like a flying kite

Spring is in the Air
Rebirth parallels springtime breeze
Creatures slowly emerge from the freeze
New seedlings take root
Birds mimic the flute
And the world seems a bit more at ease…

Beautiful birds are singing to me
high up in the trees with a big bee
bending to pick some flowers
my buns shown like towers
they were hanging out for all to see

Flowers bloom everywhere,
Pink, orange, yellow fair,
Winter's out, Spring is in,
Verdant Earth's no more bare;
Birds trill 'bove city's din,
Their active life begin;
Cute rabbits jump around,
Baby squirrels abound;
Hark Nature's gleeful noise,
Animal and bird sound ~
Unique Springtime convoys,
Life's energizing joys;
For its idyllic hues,
Spring, anytime I'll choose.

Spring is in the air.
And I can not wait
To see bold colors.
Like trees in plush coats
Or roses’ new dress.
Nature's reborn.
Fresh colors pop,
Flower buds bloom.
Nature's refreshed.
Birds sing songs.
Bumblebees start
working hard.
Bears wake up.
Days Last,
Longer
Too.

I did a Rhyme in a Acrostic form.
Today I sat in the sunshine,
I lingered for a time,
Flowers are budding,
Insects are a'buzzing,
Seasons have turned, somehow,
The air is milder now,
Spring is in the air,
Lightens us up everywhere,
Human to earth, human to earth,
Thanks for Spring, for what it's worth!
Benevolent spring is in the air
To my terrace garden bestowed it's hued share
Little rose garden at the north corner
On vacant stalks sprouts infantile buds in it's honour
Quantums of scents with breeze swirl
Flight of butterflies in silken esctacy twirl
Fleece of clouds at the skylines
Sketching on pale minds it's wondrous outlines
Bumble bees come with unzipped bag of music
My poems meander through muses elusive
My little garden laughs with spring romance
Ballads of sunrays fill my eager glance

Contest-Spring is in the air poetry contest
The scent of something sweet is in the air
as winter thaws. The grass will soon see dew.
The dismal days are finishing; how fair
the skies appear. How beautiful and blue!
Where rains of April leave their petrichor,
May’s flowers will appear; a blossoming
of plants is showing rainbow hues galore!
Their fragrance is the whispering of spring.
The plum tree’s amesthyst; the pear tree’s white
will glisten in the sun like jewelry
upon my fruit trees’ limbs; the world is bright
as earth renews with hope and energy.
Romance is in the air too. On the breeze
are flying sweetly spring's first birds and bees!
March 26, 2019 for Emile Pinet's 'Spring Is In The Air' Poetry Contest
Flowers bloom on a sunny day
Birds sing, while children play
Employees leave their jobs early without a care
And this is how you know spring is in the air
People jogging through the park
More time to enjoy brighter days before it gets dark
Cars drive by with music a blare
And this is how you know spring is in the air
Jack Frost with his evil ways
Adds a chill to our sunshine days
Frost on our windows
Ice on our blooms
The children's faces all with gloom
Another cold day just isn't fair
But who cares, it is still March,
And Spring is in the air
Winter is over and we're ready for Spring,
for flowers and bees and the birds that sing.
Today, in the garden center, I saw our first nest.
Watching the eggs hatch is Spring at its best.
But Spring on the coast is a fickle little mare.
One minute its warm, the next a bite in the air.
I worked outside all day, freezing off my a**.
Turned on the propane heater and look , out of gas.
The customers all commented, " You look rather cold".
"Yes", was my answer, but if truth be told,
the flowers, the colours, the scents and more
make the garden center the best place to work in the store.
So maybe tomorrow it'll warm up a wee bit
and if the sun peaks through that would be a big hit.
I love the garden center, especially in Spring.
More than the summer with the heat it will bring.
So even though today I'm chilled to the bone,
tomorrow I'll go back and try not to b*tch and moan.

Spring is in the air at last.
Cold and damp are in the past.
The evenings now stretch out.
After work we think about
walks along the shoreline
or woodlands before we dine.
The breeze is soft on my cheek
as in my tool shed I seek
my accouterments for the garden.
I must now beg your pardon.
So much work to be done.
I look forward to the fun.
Seeing what survived the snow.
Planting primroses in a row.
Peaceful time to be alone.
I'm so happy in my home.
