changing sky
red sun

Dragonflies soaring everywhere,
To show that Spring is in the air.
Children coming out to play
And this is what they have to say;
"Spring, Spring, Spring is here today!"
Spring is in the air
Robin sings by my window
Snow melts to puddles
Red tulip buds crest the earth
Blooming with my smiling soul

Could it be that spring is in the air
No worries about the news, not a care
Think I'll run naked
That'll sure shake 'em
Through the streets wearing just a rose in my hair
Could it be that spring is in the air
No worries about the news, not a care
Think I'll run naked
That'll surely shake 'em
Through the streets wearing just a rose in my hair
Socks, shoes, sweater, jeans
and then thermal underwear;
winter coming fast.
No!
Cotton tee, cotton shorts , no socks, sandals only;
Thermal underwear stored away~
Spring is in the air.
tiny newborn lambs
frolic on lush green pasture
spring is in the air
Today I saw my first newborn lambs gamboling in the field, spring has finally arrived

Today appeared first crocus
Spring is in the air
And soon there will be lilacs
The favorite of mon cher
Their flowers, your complexion
So delicate, so fair
Your beauty complimented
By everything you wear
The flowers bloom, the trees bud
Animals stir, the plants grow
People come out, the sun shines
The land comes alive

Children are celebrating
Because spring is in the air
Dancing around the maypole
Donning flowers in their hair
Enjoying Earth’s new rebirth
Spring’s artwork on display
Birds are vibrantly singing
From the excitement of May Day
All the leaves have turned green
No white flakes anywhere to be found
Grass being invaded by beings from the sky
Bugs and pests that have hid are in abundance now
Me left to mow that same grass
Dreading the suns heat
Desiring the shade
Days so bright
The clouds of white
Float lazily without care
Leaves of green
Soon to be seen
As spring is in the air
The birds return
And plants and ferns
Announce the time of spring
Fun filled days
In sunshine rays
The season soon shall bring
Spring is in the air today
I saw a bluebird pass my way
She waved at me as she flew by
And beckoned me not to be shy
But climb upon her outstretched wings
There she will sing of many things
And we will soar above the earth
Just her and I with love and mirth
I can feel spring is in the air today.
I hear my garden remonstrating me.
Please come out here and clear these leaves away.
Bulbs are beginning to bud, come and see.
Rose bushes need pruned, the trestle is falling.
"Wake up! Get moving!" the garden's calling.
spring cleaning,
spring planting,
spring pruning,
bees,
butterflies,
allergies,
campfires,
marshmallows,
smores,
spring break,
school is out soon,
happy tired children,
the smell of flowers,
fresh spring rain,
first mowed grass,
just a few of my favorite things!
Today I sat in the sunshine,
I lingered for a time,
Flowers are budding,
Insects are a'buzzing,
Seasons have turned, somehow,
The air is milder now,
Spring is in the air,
Lightens us up everywhere,
Human to earth, human to earth,
Thanks for Spring, for what it's worth!
Spring is in the air fall now in the past
Pink and white blossom daisy’s don the grass
Reeds in the pond sound of water flow
Ignites all the senses sun stunning glow
Nesting in the trees the birds are finally home
Garden full of life wonderful place to stroll

Raindrops on the pond
Entertainment for goldfish.
Wavelets everywhere.
Everything changes.
we are born, we live, we die
and nothing changes.
Eggs hidden in grass,
Kildeer flies over the field,
Kii, ki ki, ki ki.
Winter is coming
Bringing its rain, snow, and ice.
Spring is in the air!
Bees are buzzing. Flowers are blooming..... Outside doesn't seem so gloomy.
Spring is in the air!
Trees are swaying. Look! Cats outside playing!
Spring is in the air!
Bar-be-que I smell. It's delicious as well. People outside, it's Spring Time!
Form:
Spring is in the air.
And I can not wait
To see bold colors.
Like trees in plush coats
Or roses’ new dress.
Nature's reborn.
Fresh colors pop,
Flower buds bloom.
Nature's refreshed.
Birds sing songs.
Bumblebees start
working hard.
Bears wake up.
Days Last,
Longer
Too.

spring is in the air
lovers jump sing whisper croon
hearts are warmed and chose
summer fun and sun
brings on the full skin less dress
beach Frisbee's bon fires
fall rustling of leaves
oranges reds sweeps a valley
rainbow pure colors
winter is here now
it has come never to go
blankets of pure white
