Premium Member thunder

thunderstorm last eve
water stands in dirt puddles....
roadkill all gone now
vultures drink from fresh water
after a sizable lunch consumed

Premium Member Lost And Found

And if Love were merely
A matter of purchase,

Corner store on every block,

Heart-shaped port for every
Dock --

At a terminal of wings
On every ticket counter
Always accepted sizable Rings –

But great kings have sadly found,
Some rings Slip off, having changed
A round --

Rich man, Poor man, Good man, Thief --

Love neglected~ is love brief.

Vineyard Days

Stolen kisses
After Sunday prayers
This brings me back to my vineyard days

Playing fools
Feeling like warriors
Humming the song of the mockingjays

Walking glistening streams
Dreaming sizable dreams
Under moonlight beams
Caught in a violet haze

Promises kept,
What can’t be said will be wept
I’ll find my way to you in every maze

My heartiest devotion
To this fleeting notion
Vows whispered gently
Now written in blood

For the longest I believed that time decays
But you’ve restored the faith of my vineyard days

Premium Member I Saw A Runnerman

First, there were high winds against my roof of tin
Then, along came lots of lightning and loud thunder
Next, a rooster crowed and afterwards, I saw a hen
Next, there came a forceful gushing rain; not a shower
It was a day in which weather forecasting was hard to tell
But there quickly followed a blasting of sizable hale
What came next looked like a frightened 'Runnerman'.

Alone Me and Me Alone

Is that you! My dearest,
The one who enchants
With a display of powering persona
The one whose gaze
Can set you ablaze
With a love as innocent as a dove
and as mighty as an ocean.
Is that you! my love,
The one who embraced me
When in embarrassment was i drowning
The one who endured the enraged.
Is that you! my darling,
The one who pampered the tempered
Who endeared me when I couldn't dear myself.
Oh dear,my sweet dear!
Has your endurance has a ceiling
Or does your love. Cause you are
Flawlessly loving the flawed one
Every minute is a keep safe with you
Every particle of you is a sizable treasure
You make me ponder of how I grew fonder
and in your eyes I feel all the love
And In your heart I found my place
And in the words from your lips, I savoured delight
And in you i see me
Alone me and me alone.

A Clearly Confused Man

Adult choosing a thousand roles,
In all the roles sizable holes…
His official first Name was Dole;
In anger dropped for Mr. Mole,,
Because another Mister Dole
Had failed in a conducted poll…

His previous celebrated goal
In a stable keeping a foal;
To other targets tagging ‘Sole’
But last year for Christ won A Soul,
His Bishop’s Staff a pole;
His thanksgiving in bowl…

A Clearly Confused Man:
Comedies you won’t ban!

Premium Member Crowd Control

I have two pet snakes that I keep in a cage -
   I've owned them since I was a very young age.
The elder is Wills and the younger is Harry;
   they're perfectly harmless, but look rather scary.

One day as I stood in a sizable crowd,
   some guy bumped my snakes and his laugh was quite loud.
So I let one loose in that cramped elevator,
   the folks all dashed out and said, "Bye! See you later!"

Premium Member Dedication To Service

Dedication to Service
Rather, whoever wishes to be great among you shall be your servant, whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave. Just so, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:26-28

Today’s lesson on serving others can be found in the life of St. Katherine Drexel
 Born into one of the wealthiest U.S. families of the 19th century
She could have lived an extravagant life inside the world of rich and famous
 The young heirness might have chosen to be a chief benefactor parsing out

Sizable donations to good causes
 Yet her understanding of the Good News led to a different choice
St. Katherine dedicated her life to helping those most in need
Her outreach stretched across the country as she embraced the mission of education

Most notably building schools for impoverished African American children
We are each born into different circumstances with variety of gifts
Most of us are not wealthy
 yet we have an equal opportunity to live out this lesson of service to others.

Dreaming Big

The dream I had last night was huge,
I mean that thing was large
Much bigger than a bread box
on an ocean going barge

To say it was humongous
wouldn't be far from the truth
It barely fit inside my head
and that should be some proof

It almost seemed gigantic,
the most massive I have seen
Of any evening vision or
an afternoon daydream

I'd even say enormous is
what in my mind I saw
Mammoth, vast or sizable,
you can pick one or all

My sleep last night was restless
after this colossal show
My only wish, I'd wake up soon
and this whole thing would go

But when I woke this morning
I just knew I couldn't win
For I would need another night
to fit the whole thing in

Dream big my friends

Premium Member Only My Heart

Fly my heart across the seas,
The dense woods and the highlands
Faraway that eyes can’t see
My warm heart, nearby you stand

Far away on the horizon
Nostalgia built up by time
With mother word’s connection
Great forefathers, we remind

Fly my heart in a soft breeze
Be the shadow of your pace
Take care matters you please
Hang around your loving face

Bolster when you are unwell
Support when you get trouble
That’s all my heart can tell
My love for you is sizable

Time Misplaced Is Always Well Misspent

I woke up in the late afternoon;
still exhausted from binging on junk food,
drank four quarts of cough syrup too;
Wasn't too sure what to do
when I awoke next to you...
...Sorry I drank all of your cough syrup
when I ran out of my own;
and for later,
throwing up 'cool ranch' Doritos
all over your new dress
before ripping a sizable gash
In your super sleek kick pleat,
when you said: "Ew, gross;
Get the hell away from me!"
- But you kinda asked for it to play out this way:
By never telling me I had to stop
before I could get the chance to blackout
from an extreme case of toxic shock...
...I have always known you were trying to kill me...

What Makes a Man

We grew from tender to stone,
Always thinking that strength is key,
Sizable muscles is what society has condoned,
What makes a man is the physicality they see.

Yet even the brawny crack and sway,
The affluent, pinched and tear,
The polished, wither and fray,
Even the bravest halts in fear,

While the question still stands,
Forget comments and opinions, no matter how insistent,
Because no matter what you think makes a man,
It is only he that can give you the reason of his own existence.

Once Upon a Summer Missing

(Dedicated to Silent One --
who doesn't like bigly words.)

After a gentle, soft Summer drizzle
Fine web filaments tingle and glisten
In rainbow beams of fusion sun sizzle --
Stirring all life forms to lift and listen.

It is the season of Creamsicle desires;
Thick leaf foliage, protective sanctuaries;
Creepers, crawlers, jumpers and fliers;
Time dilating into slow-motion centuries:

Conquering the beach -- girls so coy;
Never-ending hours of creative play;
Transcendental fishing -- such a joy;
Floating from Brooklyn to Tokyo Bay

Where the kaiju rise and we gasp a ghost
At their power and our sizable insignificance.
Flipping for monsters -- baseball for most --
Winning a mint-perfect Godzilla -- coincidence?

Independence rockets in the starry, starry night
Over rooftop celebrations of smoke and kissing,
White Castle, Coca-Cola -- and the pizza's alright!
Friends and lovers -- once upon a Summer missing.

The Gifts That Keep On Giving

They have little to call their own;
yet their God’s stays right by their side.
We have plenty, nothing missing,
but parent strings have been untied.

Apron strings, the cords that bind us
to a sense of being needed.
Quite in secret on occasion
our daughter’s fields we have seeded.

A twenty left in coat or purse;
sizable check sent in a card.
Unsigned of course, but Jesus knows
their lives will not be quite so hard.

One surprise we devised to sneak
underneath their Christmas tree -
a substantial voucher from Walmart
for getting gas or groceries.

We were amazed on Christmas day
what we gave was now complete -
a generous gift card for Kroger's
we found taped to our car's front seat.
