Umbrella

In the rain some people are salt.
Then, dissolving like one they should halt:
That God had okayed Rainfall no fault;
My challenge to delay Destined Vault…

The coldest rains could invite that vault,
One’s exposed head to it obvious fault
Does it matter that one is no salt
What you should stop a go-ahead to halt…

Then, for the living umbrella
No skipping Confined Cinderella,
Nor restricting it to Gabriela
Nor “You can’t have one, Ursula!”

A device for springing it open
Any time you want this to happen
And what you’d see: Dome-Shaped Tarpaulin:
A shade for all folks, not just Pauline…

Umbrella all thunderstorms could ravage
And one could hear Umbrella “Savage!”
At one’s service as a walking stick
With it bad legs can distances lick…
The usually easily misplaced
But not as easily the replaced;
After a pounding rain has held off
And from minds a need for it switched off…

A’s family is A’s Umbrella:
Protect one from germs: Salmonella.
The holes in its tarpaulin stitch up:
Droplets from them could start a hiccup…

Home of Three Diseases

A body housing three diseases
With three more as the visiting ones:
Enjoy he does just brief releases,
On some days obliged to laugh but once...

A rough fate acting as it pleases;
Each time he dumped his drugs worse than dunce
Cimetidine that Ulcer eases
Or else a body hit on each ounce
Inhaler against the longest wheezes;
No Ciproxin, Salmonella pounce...

Premium MemberThe Real Story

Single slippered Cinderella
Yesternight’s ball bella
Angelic voices heard a cappella
Followed by lovely clarabella

The dinner served was paella
With a side of shredded mozzarella
While faking a case of salmonella
Cinderella invited her fella
To follow her into the cella

Lingering aroma of citronella
With a pleasant tinge of canella
No secrets told near mimicking corella
Misplacing both shoe and umbrella

Clarabella = instrument much like a flute
Cella = a room in a temple
Corella = a cockatoo

Road To Damascus

ROAD TO DAMASCUS

Granite faith exfoliated by superguns and sanctions whirls,
on this earth succumbing into dry spell of peace,
War-crats and confidantes skinning freedom from its people
Kofi drinking coffee with revolutionaries and revolutionaries in
Aleppo cafe on his way to Damascus

Daughters eating NGOs, GMOs, condoms and twitter
Bullet scorching the feet of super diplomats and mediators
Wiki leaks castrating the reputation of this state

Opportunists and oppositionists eating asparagus and liver in candle light dinners
Selfish pseudo prophets calculating political matrixes, salmonella laced sugar tongued
Democrats cooking autocratic beetroot and propaganda pizza for media rituals and puppets initiation.

Unwanted Guest

Suck blood like a vampire from a strange empire ,
Not invited but invite herself,
Pass through tiny holes and mesh of the net to
Set her proboscis on the skin…
Night crawler and unwanted flying creature ..
Dances around your earlobe to infuriate you..And ..
You end up slapping your ear with a big bang..!
Her piecing mouth part sends strong signals to
the brain which can make the sane to be insane ..
Fever is the outcome ,running temperature is his friend ,
And headache the mother..of all murders….
Anaemia plus lassitude will pay you a warm visit ,
Leading to excursion to the doctor’s home ;
Lab test shows plasmodium or salmonella…or …what?
Carried by this vector or rector called female anopheles…
 ....Mosquito.......

Just a Guide For Whoever

I'm still kind
and still rewind.
Even though the disc
goes back to the beginning
automatically each time.
There's a lesson in life
for holding doors.
It depends how far away
the person is in seconds,
I believe it's 4.
Don't hold the door if the
person is more than 50 feet.
You don't want an old lady
sprinting through the street.
Throw egg shells away
don't put them next to the fresh.
You don't want that in your carton
because salmonella can lead to death.
Carry as many groceries
as you can in one hand.
The more bags in one hand
the more you are masculine.
If you're a man grow a beard if you can
and you might ask, what for?
The beard on a male human,
could be looked at as horns.
Be romantic and simple,
know your parter well
they're a keeper if they have dimples,
because their smile casts spells.
Check your ego at the door
check your needs at the door.
Regardless of your condition
or if it's a bad day, your mood.
Make life a happy endeavor
and take care of your brood.

Open and Closed Book

Salmonella wanted
   to broker a truce-
   between life and death.
   We were very scared.
The questions were never answered.

A fault on the earth’s face.
   Who will ask the-
   hangman ? The tree was
   standing without roots.
The questions were never answered.

   Who was the spider
and who was the fly ?
   A rose was unfazed;
   it was a naked thorn.
The questions were never answered.

An Opusculum

No stitches will work.
You have to navigate-
               in mendacities.

You have to navigate-
in mendacities to find
               the truth, the truth.

A papyrus write may
know the future, the destiny,
               the future, the destiny.

You always run to piss
at the tree, to draw
               the borders. The animal.

The animal within you, becomes
salmonella, dones a cap,
                enters the dome.

Enters the dome.

Sunny Side Up Please

Sunny Side Up Please

By Elton Camp

As to eating runny eggs, experts say
It’s far preferable just to run away

Undercooked yolk & translucent white
Due to salmonella, are quite a fright

Such cooking, the CDC does deride
For eggs are laid with germs inside

Consuming “over light” is a mistake
Frying them on both sides it does take

If you find that the eggs are oozing,
Food poisoning you may be choosing

It happens over 1,000 times a year
With 30 more cases for one we hear

To avoid undercooked eggs, do try
They’re unlikely to make you die

But barfing and the runs will be bad
From the raw egg that you just had

A Serving of Bacteria With the Pork

A Serving of Bacteria With the Pork?

By Elton Camp

It’s hard to believe that some say
Eating pork that’s pink is okay

Here’s how a supermarket survey went
Yersinia were found in nearly 70 percent

Salmonella, enterococcus and listeria too
Make undercooked pork a meal to rue

Since hogs to begin with aren’t very clean
Better hygiene in processing it does mean

In the meantime, what can pork eaters do
For reasonable safety, the options are two

Cross-contamination must not take place
And adequate cooking germs will efface

It makes some wonder if they might
Embrace a largely vegetarian diet

Premium MemberEggs, Eggs, Glorious Eggs

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
I could eat 'em three time a day
Scrambled, poached or sunny side up
I love 'em any old way

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
Like a yummy egg salad sandwich
Devilled eggs, I could eat by the dozen
I'll even try one from an ostrich

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
Now to some, this may sound icky
At times I'll add a raw one to my cereal
That's probably not for the finicky

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
I'm aware of a most recent recall
Detected a trace of salmonella poisoning
Now that won't deter me at all

Eggs, eggs, glorious eggs
Just keep eating 'em, don't have a choice
A day without these delightful wee treasures
Is the pits, no chance to rejoice
