Dancing with happiness now, is my very new beginning.

Each tiny cell glances now, with a rainbowed meaning!

Now, I no longer hunt in need of any of life’s answers.

We both run free, like joyful, new born, deer prancers.

Your electric gazes delectable kisses hold all my answers!

Happy Birthday~my beloved, precious, eternal, love fancier!

Recalling the Essence of You
~~Remembering you~~

Remembering you, is a most simple task! It's in the rainbowed
bubbles of your arms, I that do bask!
No, absolutely, no, not once in a great while!
But in each splendid hour, yes, then, yes, I can!

I can, in the glimmer of our of past eyes, those are soft smiles.
I cannot forget how sweetly you read oe sung to me.
Nay, how blessed I was when you, in sweet memory, I clearly sing of thee!
Romantic, soft, ivory gardenia petals, bedecked my knees.

As we stared, at the still silvered moonlit, West Coast's fog, and the whispering
waves of the sea.
Supersonic slideshows of us, click softly, in my mind!
And nightlife, so mystically electric, which fluorescently flashes rainbow sounds, forevermore, fog-blessed and kind
You, forever smiles, in my mind?

Don't you dare whisper a warm breath on my shoulder,
Or I might become even yet more, steamy and bolder!

Here~on this intoxicating, Western, autumnal night.
I wish I were, I wish I might, be your amorous slave tonight!

Like a scented, rainbowed candle, joyfully melting into you.
Becoming not one rainbowed glorious person, but a divine two.

A destined, waxing puddle of the most ardent, joyous lovers.
We are autmn’s blessed ones, under moonlit, sweet cloud-covers.

Oh, how divinely close, under the caring eyes of the stars,we are,
Sparkling in the velvet darkness, like bright jewels from planet,Mars!

("Night Sky Serpent", 2013, original pen and ink)

Into the Great Unknown

In this world of constant sorrow
Is there room for you and me
As the walls close in around us
Is there some place left to be

We had homes so full of love once
Before walls came tumbling down
A safe place to raise our families
Then floods came and made that drown

There’s nothing left to say now, and
Really nothing left to do
With a world gone topsy turvy
Being forced on me and you

In a world that’s lost its balance
Wokeness spreads its wings like fire
Lifting hope and dreams all rainbowed
White bones burn upon its pyre

So, we while away the sunset
Waiting for darkness to fall
Then with ol’ Big Dipper turning
Saddle up and leave it all.

What comes next you ask in wonder
Are we left then each alone
No, we’ll always ride together
Up into the great unknown

C~ Concerned were we, starting projects to end hunger, compassionately!
I~ I was more than blessed to participate in these fulfilling days of glory.

You can only spend so many hours in labs, study groups and classrooms - under relentless, fluorescent lighting - before you start feeling life withdrawal.

When I hit that stresshold, I need to rebalance myself.

I could go to the New Haven harbor - I find the ocean endlessly relaxing - or for a quick fix, I can always rely on the warmth of multicolored product packaging.

For the last one, a grocery store will do. I’ll walk the bright, prismatic cereal aisle, and run my finger gently along the gratuitous, rainbowed variety of selections.

It’s a soothing gesture that I repeat several times. A reminder that there are still beautiful, shiny things out there, on demand, in the uncomplicated, non-academic world.

Overcome with happiness and rainbowed, ebulliant wonder,
Bright lights and firecrackered, joy-filled glorious thunder!

We will with faith and undaunted
               courage, face the year ahead!

As the sparks fall, mixed with gentle, crystalline snowflakes,
Dusts our poetic noses, here on earth, to give, not to take!

Dark rainbowed wings enfold a tortured heart
An oil slick presence seeping through its core
As scarecrow scowls shout “oh please depart”
An ocean scent drifts idly far from shore

The corn has withered now the stalks but sticks
Old barns the only hope of hungry mouse
Sharp beaks and padded paws defy its tricks
Soft circling clouds of warmth surround the house

The raven perched atop the scarecrows head
Leans hard into a seasons angry wind
For even he has come to share the dread
Of pagans who believe it will not end

Thus, do they measure shadows cast by stones
And mark their length with cold ancestral bones

I Dreamt of You In Diamonds

I dreamt of you in Diamonds
The essence of refracted lament
Advantageous to the brought
Juxtaposed with rainbowed purpose
Two fold in ambition, yet distinct
With its discourse.

I dreamt of you in Numbers
The essence of logical reign
In admonition and retribution
The pearly facets of disdain
Perplexing your inherent shadows
With warmth and simple subtlety.

I dreamt of you in Water
The essence of sweet dispersion
Cast to the shadows
In a Lifeless quietude;
Its relevance never given
Amidst boasted crests
Of indifference to change,
Your attitude.

       An Evening with Poet friends
                          9/13/2023

Really, sharing fully is nothing new to me.
Just want all to dive in without a bit of hesitation.
Splashing like shiny, rainbowed fish and express
The rays-of our shiny, unique individuality.

I only wish, a few of us were in a room together.
You’d read us your divine, poetic creations.
Teas, lemon, coffees, and hors dourves….
No strangers, just caring, close poet friends.

You are invited to bring, fresh, baked sensations.
I will provide plaid throws, as the Autumn winds blow.
So bring your delicacies and unique poetry..
A poetry evening, where all shall be honored!

Declared winners and stunning sensations.
While the warmth of joyful, appreciation burns!

Premium Member Beach Ball

It bore the colored stripes of rainbowed youth
An exhaled breath of onions, hot dog, bun
Slipping through the touch of French Fried fingers
It rose upon a breeze into the sun

A captive to a moment caught in time
Its faded colors vivid in its dreams
Questioning the thoughts of those who ponder
What joyous secrets lie within its seams

Thus, they close their eyes in vacant wander
Through scents and sounds residing in its call
Entertain the presence of its owner
Inhale the exhaled moments of this ball

Like passing ships our wakes will slowly fade
Yet linger ‘neath the waves that friendship made
