Rainbowed colours, touching my window pane.

From God’s own palette, His blessed, soft, rain!

Marble Marvel
Back when I was four or five,
unspeakable was my joy:
admiring rainbowed prisms
in my marble, my treasured toy.

Only in the grownups' world
was a crumpled dollar bill
more treasured than my marble
there glistening on the window sill....

Colors in the sky
Red dots winged evil
Black stench of flaming fear
Rainbowed path of burning oil
Whistling sting of shrapnel’s stolen lives
A sunny Sunday gone wrong
The tattered flags
RED WHITE and BLUE

Enjoy today and there's always tomorrow!

Lest something unexpected, bring you, heartfelt sorrow.

Make a wish, zepplin sized, gigantic and rainbowed!

From the happiness fairy, may you happily borrow!

Sometimes
Trails of rainbowed lines fill the sky,
with an ancient whisper of time gone by
Needing a spiritual touch, of thanksgivings love and hope and trust.
I find the answers deep inside
Leaving trails of rainbowed lines
already a sign of the times...

Don’t you adore warm sand betwixt your toes?
You ponder summer’s rainbowed tinted clothes.

How we long to eat on the beach, and family and friends
That summer treat. seems it never ends!

Usually a friend brings his melodious guitar.
We sing melodies under celestial stars, afar.

CANYON OF MY HEART

             dances all the year
             mostly verdant, no rain tears
             dreamy and rainbowed

             jasmine waterfalls
sun's light rays, warm to my touch
             nature's flow, means much

Cat naps in a circle a
       stunning colorful ring.
       A mix of butterscotch,
       mocha, and vanilla bling.

       Poetess in black velvet robe,
       imprinted with soft roses.
       Dreaming, likewise of the
       rainbowed work, she composes.

My Two Friends.....
I've got these two friends
I'll describe as my bookends
holding up the library,and
the pages in my head

Like rainbowed archways
such colorful personalities
our day to day exchanges
engage to inspire me

Two pots of gold
how fortunate am I
to have and to hold
such friends in my eye

Even at a distance
their presence is felt
without further hesitance
your warm friendships,I melt........

Premium Member Walk Me Home In the Rain
The soft heartbeats of rain under
our silvered umbrella home.
Whispers of gentle wind colors under
our love filled dome.

Ever in my memory this Monet
moment doth live.
Two enchanted entities who were
about to surpass love's boundaries to give.

That gardeniaed, honeyed, rainbowed,
remembrance.
Has made the ocean of my life crest in
aquamarine,charmed, forever, tenderness.

I’m lavender; I’m apple-tartness green or colored cream like fleece - a peaceful ewe. Pastel, I’m hushed; when gold or red, I preen. Like ice cream of a most peculiar hue, I’m Baskin-Robbins licorice-flavor blue. I’m fanciful as pink and rarely frown reflecting sequins of my rainbow gown. Written ages ago, I don't know when, but was first posted 8/31/11 under the title "Rainbowed"! Now used for Shadow Hamilton's Colours Poetry Contest

Martin
In a nation of happy faces,
Your children of rainbowed skin
Hold hands, as kin,
Now ignorant of races...
Just as you hoped...

Building walls of love
Brothers and sisters come along
Singing a never ending song
That you and I are apart of...
Just as I wished...

Voices melting, together singing
Form a circle with hands linked
Alas, just after I had blinked,
I see their wall is rising...
Just as we dreamed.
