A Map of Quiet Fires

Her skin drinks light like rivers take rain,
each dappled edge and sun-struck curve,
a landscape under my hands, soft yet severe,
where desire meets the edge of breath.
Fingers trace the small hollows of her hip,
catching sunlight in each soft valley,
dipping, trembling, as if they might slip
into some dark, endless tenderness.
She is a map of quiet fires,
a fever I can barely hold.
I find her pulse in the hush of thighs,
the places where words lose themselves.
My mouth opens to meet her skin,
each kiss a tender bruise of ache,
pressed and perfect, lush as wine
that fills, that floods, till reason splits.
We break where passion's blinding flares,
colliding in waves of sweet surrender,
so fierce the ache it stings like glass,
we drink of each other, ravenous, undone.
In the silence after, breath upon breath,
her skin still glows with sunlit trace,
and I am carved by the strength of her
in places I never knew could break.

Love Speaks Through All of The Quiet

Love speaks through all of the quiet,
A whisper in the hush of dawn.
In silence, it starts a riot,
Of feelings, wordlessly drawn.
It's the pause between heartbeats,
A language of gentle sighs.
In stillness, passion completes
What noise could never comprise.
Love's quiet is a full moon's glow,
Illuminating all we know.

In the Quiet of My Mind

In the quiet of my mind, words dance and twirl
A fragile ballet of mere notions unfurled
I sit and ponder, pen in place just as planned
Ready to create, to incite, to command

Write a new poem, the voice whispers so low
Use wording, line breaks, and irony to show
The beauty of language, the power of verse
To capture emotions, to quench the raw thirst

I pause and consider the challenge at hand
To craft something new, something great, something grand
With freedom as my guide, I let my words flow
The rhythm and melody only I know

Line breaks like bated breath, creating suspense
Irony weaved in to keep the reader tense
I paint my canvas with thoughts, both dark and bright
With words wisely chosen each stanza takes flight

Here I am, in this moment of creation
A poet at work, in deep concentration
Scribbling haphazardly with passion and zeal
This world of my making where words make you feel

Premium MemberGlaring Silence

Silence trembles - With the light of morning,
Dawn’s caress stirs, then calms
With intimate whispers
Impressions delightful, like a smile
Inviting heartfelt excitement

Silence echoes - Past the hand of darkness
Reflecting the kindness
Binding up wounds of doubt
Amazed and inspiring, creating
Laughter and joy – dazzling
Hues so vibrant, arising
From the flow of a smile abiding
Inside the spirit who knows
His loves sends assurance and hope

Silence embraces - Flames of passion, adoration
Fiery blaze of wishes
Imaginary kisses, blessings
Who promise the wind to erase
Every gray cloud, early fog
Easy shadows who sometimes fade
Into the mystery of daybreak
And the sound of a memory, a tale
Breathed beneath the rainstorm
Who tells of seclusion and secrets
Stitching wounds who tell of pasts
Who live in the heart of grace

Silence rises – in those who know
It is love – who comforts the soul

Quiet Rehabilitation From the Heart

i thought about leaving on a train
i thought about walking blindly in the rain
i thought about going somewhere where no one could find me
in the end it was your true love that would thankfully blind me

i thought about making you a casserole
i thought about making you filet of sole
i thought about taking you somewhere that you always dreamed of going
then you tell me that you will always be well travelled as long our love for each other is flowing

i thought about send you flowers special delivery
i thought about sending you a fancy thirst quencher from a distillery
i thought about expressing how your warm my heart with love that would accentuate the expressive beauty of each dimple
instead you took my left hand and said softly with a smile, 'keep it simple'

with that i say i love you as a small diamond pendant on your heart
you respond by kissing me with a quiet passion, simply saying with a smile, 'smart'

Fall Comes, With Quiet Changes

The dying-time of Summer things has come;
Leaves burn with color, fall with lessening light.
The cadence of change beats on my heart's hollow drum,
The Spirit of Fall descends with the cold of night.

Youth's fire burns quietly now,
No longer leaps from highs to lows,
Feeds my wisdom's tree, now stronger, firmer fruit upon the bough
As now the passion does not burn, but glows.

Turning towards twilight, day spun out to its final thread
A somehow colder, brighter sun
Touches the last of summer's green, softening red
Lighting a landscape of life undone.

Again let the passion that ruled my soul,
Inspiration showing forth with voiceless shout
Kindle the fire within the coal
To escape the grey sting of the storm without.

Youth's mad energy is nearly spent
But not the strength that lies below.
The depth of meaning this Autumn's falling sent
Will color my world to the dim time of the snows.

Premium MemberA Quiet Wondrous Space

Your beauty beguiling, your soul untamed
When winds capture your hair in tender lift
To dance in a slow windblown serenade
This beautiful picture shared as a gift
Embraced with melodies from your heart's song
Softly rendered in this mystic of love
You pull me closer to where I belong
Cradled in warm realms of love I dream of
Your yearning desire washes over me
Where its beating pulse to my heart are inlaid
To leave a love within to set my soul free
And soar with passion from the wings you made
Shall we never leave this moment of grace
When eyes merge in this quiet wondrous space

Premium MemberA Quiet Coziness

A cozy fireplace in an old-time setting
Creating such warmth, such love, and blessings
The image exudes
A warm tender mood
Only winter creates such a quiet coziness

Premium MemberA Sudden Burst of Quiet

Nice lake like serene
Serene a dream still waters
Gardens of solitude
All is pleasant, a still day
The passion of pristine undisturbed
The flutter of wings a bird sings
In tranquil Sedate tones
Then a sudden burst of quiet
It entered as nothingness on
The wings of butterflies
Here is how QUIET behaves
At times with complete silence

Premium MemberPlease Be Quiet:

Please be quiet my dearest one,
for let our hearts speak true,
on this night of deepest passion,
let me embrace and hold you.

You are the one who keeps me alive,
please be here for me tonight,
I shall be yours and yours alone,
now come close and hold me tight.

Hush my dear don't speak one word,
for there is no need to communicate,
open your arms and welcome me in,
why must we wait or hesitate?

When all we need is each other right now,
So let us live this moment as the last,
And think not of our cares, only of love,
Together as one creating our future's past.

That Quiet Time Before a Reality Storm

right now, i do not want to understand
i just want to be happy and free with you
i know we are just excuse givers with brooms right now
i realize that tomorrow life will be our alarm clock
right now, i do not care about the what, the how, the when, or the why
i just want to enjoy this quiet time reflection with you
i know we are just dialogue damagers with shedders right now
i realize that tomorrow the rooster crowing will be our five lumps or a hundred back to reality
right now, i just want us to love each other in simple silence until
with a sincere passion, i want to follow the arrows of figuring it all out with you

The Quiet Noon

This quiet noon of winter
Enters softly my leaves
Puts on the chlorophylls
A wave disintegrates me
The quiet breaks free

The quiet breaks free
Uproar from the dark
Admonitions stark
Trauma in the tree
Comes back the noon

Comes back the noon
Fright, flight and night
Then the stars bright
And the golden nest
Tales in the pink chest

Be quiet

Betrayal was so evident
in your eyes,
Once shimmered bright
in my passion,
Words could not say
so I chose to be quiet !

Waves that once giggled
and created melody,
Humming of the bees
flutter of butterflies,
Everything stood still,
I chose to be quiet !

Followed you everywhere
with my heartbeats,
That now no longer beat,
Emotions that swayed
to the tune of love,
Flowed and flooded
now have dried !

Burning desires
reduced to ashes,
No smoke seen
not a cry,
Could you perceive
my cravings in angst,
and assure me,
A quantum of trust
Why I chose to be quiet ?

Premium MemberKiss Me Quiet

It's near midnight, whilst we moonlight walk
Palm tree lined fairway, Crickets singing
Hands clenched in loving vacationed talk
Hearts in wanting pound, Batangas is bringing
We, she and I, now amidst our intending lock
Serenity is the scene blessed by lunar watch
So late, but joyous we, soon our lips are speaking

Clouds now hover as we witness natures rain
Our apartment is distant, we welcome given
Through broken lunar light, stroking her mane
My hands in taken then, sensuously they're driven
Kiss me quiet is whispered, hearts now in reign
Walking, slowly walking, absorbing to us this night
Hearts in touching pound, Batangas has brought

Caress
With breathy voice
Undress

Your kiss
Upon my mind
Is bliss

Take all
Upon your bed
I fall
