I sing Shahana Bahar, a malody of delight.
It echoed aloud, Marwa, music of sadness-filled plight
I laugh aloud and I hear it back as a scary scream
My gleam of glee turns into hallucinatory dream
Each false virtue that I hate haunts me like a hounds unbound.
Trust and mistrust amalgamate and make meaningless sound.
The impressions I form to attract all, impress no one
Amidst my endless fights, no inner battles I have won.
Efforts that give the illusion of success often fail.
Why does fate prompt me to upset the boat when I still sail?
Convictions are converted into crude catastrophes.
Punctuations of quotations close as apostrophes
With silences of bridge, ledge, and edge, badge, bodge, and budge clash
Amidst pitch dark clouds torches of light as thunderbolts flash
Sounds of church bells peal from graves where tolling knells are hidden.
Though echoes sound true, is disclosure of truth forbidden?

Stoned she, slipped out nips rough az bark"

Are we but dancers on an unlit stage
Disclosing secrets hidden in the angst of now
Revealing the ups and downs of then.
Singing in the choir of the off key
Whistling past punctuations grave yard.
Our words a chant to taunt the demons
Remind them that we are still here
That we have words and are not afraid to use them.
Do we not hide behind, and within
Each metaphoric medley of madness
Bare the essence of an eager soul
In the nakedness of our ramblings?
Children clamoring for attention
Making mud pies, walking through puddles,
Bravely turning off the night light
Yet still afraid of the dark.
But for myself, I warn you, I am here
Within the words I blend together
A guileless garment maker
Obsessed by the texture of the threads
Stitching errant words together
Into this patchwork that is me.
For I am here, peeking from within the fabric,
Modeling each moment on an unlit stage.

Lately I've been withholding poetry
desiring to see if you're still into me?
Ready for you to lie lingerie on lingering words repeating all the moans previously heard
hoping you'll undress all my meaning.
Placing punctuations pre foreplay
so we might experience
endorphin releasing endings
from tongue touching beginnings.
Trapped with no inclination of escape
wanting to feel just how
refreshing a baptism can be.
Reflections of a soul that absolutely knows
exactly where it's supposed to be.
You and me wiping steamy mirrors clean.
Sorry I waited so long to tell you this.
Please except my apology
as your body gives pause
for this mental applause
and your spirit yields
to a standing ovation.

Halfway on the curve of your waist
Rhymes become audible
Climbing your pelvis
Rhythms suffer
Falling from your hips
Syllables dream of feathers
In the heat between your thighs
Metaphors melt
Crawling down your legs
Verses laugh like lunatics
In the moist folds behind your knees
Punctuations swim
Grasping a purple vein
Words descend to your feet
Between your toes
Becoming a river
My poetry flows to dust
Notwithstanding the magical commotion
What precedes the fireworks
I dare not write
If I do
Earth will be in flames

Sometimes I think
love is everything to me--
In fact, am convinced
love is everything
upon reviewing my
final punctuations:
Not a poem
I read and enjoy
left without the
comment: Love it!
Nor blazing sunset
flowery air
that seems to me
not twice as fair
for the breathing
in and out...Brahma
either shares
or is royally
jealous of me, I suspect,
on a daily basis;
even the God’s
of war, at times
must totally deplore
my painting over
their evil portraits
with winter’s clean prime
and springs colorful
healing….Love
more than a feeling--
everything to me.

Wonder, if God thought of Mother’s pure love
Because He can’t hope to be everywhere,
Nor be where so His children's need might move,
Alone He can no justice do, nor care.
Among things well their worth upon this Earth,
Bare if a few man ever can replace.
Mother's love stands on top, what unique grace!
Why gods and goblins vie for human birth.
If among punctuations God's period,
Mother's love sure is exclamation mark,
All else may hope to be second and third,
In luminance, she's no less than an arc.
Sole saviour, nourisher of new life,
A silver lining in dark clouds of strife.

I suppose open ended flows of thought
represent Earth's holistic arts collective.
Poetic licenses and decomposingl life sentences
invested in prayer to fully incarnate,
cooperatively manage,
then master healthy performance arts
coarising social-political research sciences,
life through death ecotherapeutic punctuations
of rhythmic passions.
Co-empathic political art trusts
empowering truths with beauty bounty.
Poetry readings engaging sacred liturgies
of Earth-enlightened art therapy
deeply stretch-canvasing compassion.
Communicating arts
predicating and predicting love of resonant life
regenerating resiliently healing sciences
of and for healthy future co-investments
in perennially recircling performances
engaging deep listening octaves
of fully colored feelings.

I’m an educated idiot,
Who’s learned to hold a pen.
I find a bit of paper,
And I write things now and then.
My punctuations lacking,
And my spellin is absurd.
My handwriting, so dreadful,
I can hardly read a word.
But I’ve found a way to hide this,
And don’t have to bear the shame.
I just type it on my keyboard,
The computer gets the blame.
Now I write lots of poetry,
I do this everyday.
And when people say, “how awful”,
I claim typo’s, right away.
So if you try to read my ramblings,
And it’s ‘doing in your head’.
If you don’t know what your reading,
Have no clue what I said.
Then be thankful that, I typed it,
Or I’m sure that you would find,
You could not even read a word,
Now that would blow your mind!
