As if these lands were separate,
As if our minds weren't one,
As if land and sea were dichotomy, of darkness and the sun. 

Pangea's cleavage tells the tale,
To fail here as but one.
All secedes from sense of we, on a planet's pedigree. 

Family's but a split from those,
Whose own claim to be the same.

Planetary Love

Your eyes shine like the Sun
My chance with you, small like Mercury
My heart, near you, burns like Venus
The tears of my weeping come from Earth

When I see you, I turn red like Mars
My desire to have you, the size of Jupiter
On your fingers, I would fit the rings of Saturn
But without having you, my heart

Planetary Paradigm

From primal needs to lofty dreams, we soar,
Seeking security, love, and more.
Thriving, expanding, we yearn
For legacy's eternal burn.
But in our endless chase,
Earth bears the cost.
Now we must
Desire
Love.

Love for our planet, the highest call,
Responsible living for us all.
Shedding harmful wants, we find
A new path for humankind.
In balance with Earth,
We redefine
Our true
De-
sire.

A Planetary Realignment

We turned the mattress over,
the world was leaning to one side,
and heads were rolling.
Bodies tipped over in the night,
whole families were found to be
slanted from the slippage.

They say (meaning nobody we knew),
that the sharp cheddar and the gruyere
had saturated the dreams
of our sleeping flesh.

We upended the matrass, slept well
for a night or two,
then the pale-faced

Regarding Planetary Alignment

Planets are in motion and matched
upon a level plane.
Ducks are waddling faster
just to fall in line.

Pundits, prophets, and drunken poets
opine over a mystic wine,
others follow the science around
in ever increasing circles.

Dogs and cats are eloping,
bookmakers are hardly coping
for all bets are both on and off.

Could it be, is it possible?
Will the sky skinny-dip
in a new

Awareness Is a Blessing

Variety of thoughts with in and around, 
The perceptions resulting and leading to oozing emotions that compound. 
The reactions and plans to handle the perceptions become more sound.
The gurgling tidal emotions fail to differentiate between the right and wrong.
Amidst expectations and confusion, we demand understanding and reciprocation. 
The fight, the pleasure, the fear, everything is

Cinema skies displaying cosmetic lies,
a planet that's a glow with a satellite show.
Hearing the hums of electromagnetic drums.

The chemical feeds, growing poisonous greeds,
of warning words from the falling birds,
fish served upon a radio dish.

There once was a married cosmonaut
Who out in Space did what he shouldn't ought--
   Kissed a pretty Mars bar
   Made love to the North Star--
Sex with a slattern from Saturn he bought

Planetary Catharsis

This kindred of separation
this breed apart
this top of the food chain
and its self distinction by the manipulation of thumbs

This arrogance of intelligence
with its pocket-sized reasoning of knowledge
and by default applies its logic
this incongruent species of taking everything for granted

These nations of waring factions
and the tyrannies of their religions
and all their obsessive obsessions with death

A Planetary Ruler

O! Sunnier than the sun is my love’s shine,
Her radiance gives birth to jocund mirth.
More lunatic in prowess fixed to pine,
Her aspect crazes more than pale moon’s dearth.
More martial in her count’nanced iron will,
Her courage braves the fields of warring doubts.
More swift, mercurial quick my thoughts are still,
Her face in them has ruling cardinal clout.

A Planetary Playground For Her To Explore In

This morning,
When the sun slid through the crack in the curtain
Bouncing off your rounded crystals
I became an idiosyncratic particle
As my mystic's name pounded my undefined art.

This woman, within my orbit,
Clipped to my grasp -
