Do You Care

DO YOU CARE
Cinema skies displaying cosmetic lies,
a planet that's a glow with a satellite show.
Hearing the hums of electromagnetic drums.
Sea the oceans cry, and rivers flooding dry,
weather so weird, becoming so more feared.

The chemical feeds, growing poisonous greeds,
of warning words from the falling birds,
fish served upon a radio dish.
Dying lands. of storms from dust and sands.
Natures diligence versus human destructive intelligence.

Screens tell a vision,
a mental propaganda mission.
World puppets so colourful and plastic,
painting blindly, a future so fantastic.
Threats of nuclear power,
causing the cosmos to cower.

Fountains of invisible money buying time,
for all the earthly crime,
humanity creating planetary insanity.
Have you an answer when and where,
being asked "DID YOU CARE?"

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
