When I look at the sky or at the ocean from the beach
I cannot lie, it makes me wanna stand up and preach
And when I look at the flowers as the insects scurry about
In all of my hours, I have never had a doubt
His Creation is so vast yet so individually unique
Yet time doesn’t last slipping away, even as I speak
Look out your window, just take a look outside
And I’m sure you’ll see what can never be denied
And when the stars come out the crickets so quick to orchestrate
The geese continue their route
never early, never late
With the ants building below my dog looks into my eyes
As if he wanted to show that even he does too realize
Oh my Lord is so great. How could others not see
But it’s never too late if you realize you want to be free
Just look at His Creation from the seen to the unseen
And if you too can’t contain your elation then you know exactly what I mean

my mind is an abstract vase,
adorned with
crystal gold lines~
from pixelated pearls
homing
whimsical wishes
and
blue-rose reveries,
a Picasso paradox
painted
with
sculptured serenity...
but as violin warmth
of melancholia
ricochets in
hypnotic cadence
listen to the
lethargic starlight
orchestrate a concerto ~
depicting this tired tongue,
s e a r c h i n g
for a major chord
of magical mellifluence
to summon the
silver
of your
citrine moon...
for when i n k
flows between
sun-blushed seas
in feisty meter
I still trace your
blue-blaze vibrance~
drawing an ardent ambience
of l o v e
before the r a i n...

Her hair was luminous in the dawn,
Waving in a breeze it seemed to orchestrate.
And the day surrounded her magnetically
As she stood there, entwined with nature-
Nature herself, posed in elemental frame.
And her gown flowed from the ground,
As if tailored by the very grace of God.
And she, in turn, seemed molded likewise,
Formed, in no way lacking-
By sublimity, beguiling to the stolen eye.
“Come with me”, I spoke as if to her,
“And we can together magnify
What perceived, as one, we each
Fall short of understanding in whole”-
Compelled I was, in full rapture.
And then she moved toward me,
Interrupting a moment’s pause for eternity,
As needing to turn such lovely gaze
In direction not posed, but drawn by epiphany-
Stepping out from painting into my world.
Her newfound touch electrified my dreams.
Her smile was a beacon in the haze.
And nature’s green was in her eyes,
Those portals to grand portraiture-
Evolved I was, no looking back.
I paused to contemplate a dream
And found quintessence in my sight.
A vision shaped by artist’s brush
Reached out to take my heart in hand-
Forever taught, am I, the view of life as art.

Grotesque, in its unyielding grip of the vehement soul,
A parody, a caricature, of mercy's exalted role.
An avalanche of despair, harrowing as the Holocaust;
As scars accrue—like bitter frost life has lost.
Unsettling perceptions, now relics of savage years;
Movement on the frontline, dispel ancient fears.
As light gently penetrates each cell,
Spirits elevate, casting off the heavy shell.
Today's lessons fade chiaroscuro's grip,
Nursing the unseeking seeker’s shattered bits.
The Midas touch, sculpts the mind's trend,
Cotyledons blooming towards heliotrope's bend.
Endless gratitude, to souls who converge with care,
Hope of eradication quells mayhem with flair.
"Work hard, party harder"—the rhythm of life,
A "Talent Eve" awaits, confetti in the air as we dine.
Coaxing fledgling bards, ammunition ready to depart,
A vibrant, joyous escape from a didactic start.
Shangri-La in essence, fueled by epiphany;
Creativity set to orchestrate a vivid symphony.
Reviving life in a parasite’s domain,
The more, the merrier, the event sustains.
Overwhelmed by the flowing camaraderie,
I raise a toast in jubilant rhapsody.

Juggling kangaroos leap,
Monkeys noisily orchestrate,

She was welcomed into my house
where she entered and said…
what is that quite romantic music playing?
Oh, it is Glenn Hughes on my vinyl record player
and I showed her how it spins and plays the tunes
she was amazed
And then she asked me…
may I have this dance
to which I held her in my arms
Glenn sang and we danced
bowed and swayed, scooted and hopped
all the maneuvers of lovers
And then I looked in her eyes
and she was crying
“What is it my love”, I asked
“It is that I wish to dance with you to Glenn’s music
For all eternity, forever and a day
I don’t ever want to stop”
“But my love”, I said…
“Glenn has over 50 years of songs
We can dance through the night to all his albums”
Her tears began to dry
As she let me hold her dear tight
and she moved in rhythm and twirled in my arms
“Would you like to see Glenn in concert”, I asked
“Oh would I” she exclaimed
“Then a trip to the venue it will be”
But tonight will be with Glenn on vinyl
singing his romantic songs to us
as we so deeply embrace

Old familiar tune of Happy Birthday,
Along its line I fell in love with May.
As long as I remember from the start,
It etched for good into my childhood heart.
On the same date as years sprinting along,
Birds orchestrate my birthday with a song.
In my honour tulips curtsy my way -
So charming that their bloomday bursts in May.
For every wish I make, the sun beams cheer:
“So many more to celebrate, my dear!”
Love’s in the air, in sunshine or in rain,
Yet something about May I can’t explain.
Born into blossom of prolific spring,
My month of May marks best calendar fling.
(If that month fell, let’s say, on February,
My heartfelt warmth would melt cold snow with glee!)

From monsoon streets to emerald isle,
I navigate uncharted ground,
Each spreadsheet marks another mile
While voices fence my world around.
The pixel screens of yesterday
Have vanished in this northern haze,
Now bound in corporate array,
I count the cost of borrowed days.
Through latticed walls of chrome and might,
I tally fortunes, line on line,
Each decimal a measured bite
Of memories I redesign.
The morning fog transforms the bay,
As numbers dance their strict routine,
While others orchestrate my way,
I drift, unanchored and unseen.

Kingdom come, amid men whose secure custody
I can hear it yield promises then relinquish final copy.
Stumbled on ancestral stone which once ago protect
Those that ensure their existence human honor connect.
Build new ones to rewrite freedom harnessed battle,
As those, once blessed, move and walk-in-like cattle.
Those that do care on honeysuckle sunlit minions
Overflowing of golden fields, rivers to feed Millions.
Whoever else and thinking and Orchestrate vengeance,
Kingdom come, those whose custody, doors open, welcoming penance.

A symphony of talents, waiting to bloom,
In every girl child, a vibrant room.
Let education be the conductor's art,
To orchestrate their dreams, and play their part.
Each note a lesson, each chord a skill,
They'll rise above, their spirits will fill
With confidence, and purpose true,
A symphony of potential, in all they do.

Afar off as Luna disturbs the briny sea air, its pallid
lips farewell kiss of former throne fairs to absence.
Heir apparent solace a crown restored as its Hymn
privilege rejuvenates Sol's nurtured Hawaiian Isles.
As guests, while a tad, in Hawaii's wild, there they'll
see groundbreakers of Plumeria painted plumes don
guest guessing tree colors that rival Picasso's rarity,
Rose Period of benevolent hues missing silent blues.
On yonder rise further untamed, yielding in strength,
the Bird of Paradise, queues surround a mound. Find
true value in their weight of numbers enabled on top
of the tabled bouquet than solo left alone--so lonely.
Siding with soloists that orchestrate scents, like that
of the Gardenia, Puakenikeni, Kahili Yellow Ginger or
Pikake/Jasmine and Tuberose many more aromatics
redolent a symphonic scores, an orchid won, adored.

In the 60’s we protested
Out on the quads
With our armbands and banners and signs
‘Til the rage manifested
By police riot squads
Put a damper on all our designs.
We erected no tents
And we went home to sleep
But were sure we could orchestrate change.
Yet these current events
Which on campuses sweep
Seem, to me, very different and strange.

Come over and sit next to me
I saved this seat for you
My eyes are pleading quietly
Hoping that you do
I'll keep my hands here on my lap
But if you only knew
How much they want to know your feel
To convert it from a view
Now I might try to orchestrate
An accidental touch
It wouldn't be too obvious
Nor would it be too much
A simple reach across your arm
Made to look unplanned
Or I could stand and help you sit
And offer you my hand
Perhaps "coincidentally"
I'll brush you as I kid
And then apologetically
Say sorry that I did
Or I could sit and just enjoy
The fact that you are near
Moments like those mean so much
I hold them all so dear

The fate of man is well renown
And as our future tumbles down
We the ones that time soon will cast
Are left with memories of the past
Those guilty of death's construction
Orchestrate our mass destruction
So here we sit and wonder why
As all our hopes and dreams pass by
