Oohs Poems | Examples

Cusher-Ball playoff

gutter edges of the interior
usually located near the front
the edges, the edges
the perfectly binded edges
oh love devine
might I speak you
as lover
we as one
oh love devine
speak me as yours
speak me true
as I might tell the world
you are mine
>>>>>>SHE ANWSERED>>>>
what makes you happy
what makes you mad
are you less trusting
when you are sad
before tommorrow
what is defined as us
love faith and understanding
you define us
guess I can do it
love, to define
what is love
that one of a kind
endearing and specials
most of which
it's all so much engaging
--------------------------------
there's music in the air
inspiration for love
what's better than love
whats better than love

the oh I

the ah oohs
the perfection of beauty
i say to you
what's in the question
what's it all about------

Premium Member A Humbugger's Bah's

This time of year inspires oohs and ahs
Waltzing dreams in the snow's camouflage
There seems to be some flaws
In this legendary cause
To many-a humbugger's bah's

And through winter thoughts meander
And we ask others in candor
Do you believe in [I pause]
This elusive Santa Claus
Sorry if I am raising your dander

Premium Member When Silence Speaks

The leader, philosophical and wise,
Ends his speech after a long silent pause,
His true followers with half open eyes
Responding with admiring oohs and aahs.

Turn up the mic on the silence to hear
A leader's lust for worship and control,
Minds whirring like a quickly turning gear,
'Bout how what he said put them in this hole.

Hear tapping ant feet, a drumroll will grow
Til it reaches a thousand decibels;
But, are they coming to pay tribute? - no!
They're here to eat him with ant mandibles.

Great guru, great king, try this on for size -
A lengthy silence is not always wise.

Premium Member Quilting Bragging Rights

the quilting festival is an event where grandma lingers.
Her friends are there – Mag, Charlene and Mrs. Fingers.
They try to pretend it is not a competition at all.
But they drag their secrets outside in the middle of fall.

Oh, my, I never saw that red and green one before!
Gram says to Mrs. McDiggins, the Irish gal next door.
McDiggins is grinning like a sailor who is in his cups.
I thought I had shown it to you she fibs to McGupps.

Their masterpieces on display, they watch everyone’s fingers.
Dirty nails and palms had better not stay to paw, touch or linger.
They want the oohs and aahs but they want their work pristine.
Gram comes home every year bragging she is the “quilting queen”.

Holiday Lights

Read about a family
With a house of sparkling lights,
Which take months for them to hang
For weeks of festive Christmas nights.

They made the Guinness Records book
And people drive for miles
To cruise around their property
With oohs and aahs and smiles.

Their neighbors, though, are not so pleased
With all the crowds and noise,
Which brings both trash and brightness
And their quietude destroys.

When interviewed, the family said
They’d rather have a hand
In bringing joy to strangers,
Which their town should understand.

I see both sides, but what I know
Is that their huge display
Makes me glad they’re not my neighbors -
If they were, I’d move away!

Tight Bra Bringing and Started Springing Horn Haiku Sort Of

Trump has been breaking laws
create and cause crime with his claws
prefers premiers and skinny shahs
rile up people with his paws
likes pulling at loose straws
at his hamburger always knaws
likes women who wear big bras
have heard his oohs and aahs
Trump gives me the blahs
have heard his youthful ye's with horrible hahs
prefers hearing much applause
poor and dimwit crowds Trump draws
putrid picture he draws
sings do ray mes while forgetting his faas
skip so la ti do and away we go
cut great face which was greeted with gauze
found his big mouth in front of jaws
like big bird Trump constantly caws
seen slidding in nude in slick spas
plural of his ta is tas
would see His lost doll while in shower stall in urban sprawl
wish Trump would be so kind, get his small hands off of my behind
To see Trump tight bra she was bringing; Out big breasts did start springing

You have to send me some comments, criticism
and complaining about this collection of lines
that have been in my Horn Horrible Haiku.
which you may ensue out from a blunt blue.

Premium Member Oohs and Ahhs of the Audience

Stan was marrying Paula, an artist, and he was thrilled to bits
he had seen brides come down the aisle before
but nothing like this …..
she had painted her wedding gown
a move most women would have not dared to try
he imagined her mother’s face when she said she was doing it
Paula’s dress started out traditionally white
but flowed rainbows to the hem
Stan had never seen such a gown
By the oohs and ahhs of the audience
he doubted they had ever seen it either
but suspected they would now
His wife, the trend-setter!

Premium Member By the Fireworks

marvelous, they burst.
we are immersed in the fun.
our conjugal thirst,
meeting of the minds, rehearsed.
spectacular spectators traversed
over many July holidays. some, coerced.
delightful, at first being honeymooners.
with three kids, became submersed. the work!
happiness interspersed.
in the end it is all good at the worst,
because we are not dead. we are living not cursed.
though dealing with quite a few of an outburst -
which one of us hasn’t blown our top, had a cloudburst!
we are nursed by the fireworks,
thoroughly conversed quiet now, except for oohs and ahhs.
magic of memories, well versed.

Premium Member Zoo

Rare animals to see;
that's the bait that draws me.

The zoo is amazing;
I spend hours just gazing.

And my heart skips a beat;
as oohs and aahs compete.

But a cage isn't home;
for creatures born to roam.

Premium Member In Blooming Fields

There flows in the blooming fields of Master, Claude Monet
a tulip river that springs to life with each impassioned stroke
A painting into which butterflies would be tempted to stray
where flowers waft in currents, making oohs and ahs evoke.

A Don Quixotic windmill and an old farmhouse in succession
short strokes of crimson, muted greens and boldest yellow
blended on canvas, the artist's Impressionistic expression.
Landscapes in natural light was the genius of this fellow.

I would snip a fresh bouquet of tulips to adorn a crystal vase
and capture their scent from the canvas for perfumed potpourri.
If I could climb inside a Monet painting, in my arms I'd embrace
you beside his tulip river and then sip a glass of crisp Chablis.

Premium Member Dreaming of Creamsicle

Dreaming of creamsicle
vanilla and orange swirls
My tongue is swimming,
diving into the delectable
spoonfuls of tangoing
flavors of joy-bursting “ahh.”
Better yet - creamsicle milkshake,
that goes straight to the mind
with “oohs” and “ahhs.”
It’s only a dream. A tribute.
Only one spoonful -
it, sits on my tongue,
cold and dangerous,
then the current takes it in
like a sin. Sinful not
to lavish one bite.

Premium Member Penny Rich

Birth, with stars in her eyes, exploding with mirth.
Mollycoddled, swaddled, passed off by nurses.
Aperture opens, closes - checking out earth.
The peacock calligrapher inks fair verses.
Not bad for a Penny - they sold a circ worth.
The switchboard oohs and ahhs as she converses.
Under the sagacious skies, each phonation
Recorded in babbles with their duration.

Premium Member Planetarium Experience

planetarium experience
the second graders have no idea what to expect
it is dark and comfy
The narrator is behind us
Several turn to try and see her
She is behind a black booth

The sky gets dark
Stars come out
We hear about constellations
She ties in mythology
After a while my eyes begin to close
I have been awake since four this morning
I did not realize how tired I am

Second graders excited “oohs” and “aahs” keep me awake
I am grateful
What kind of chaperone would I be if they heard me snoring?
And I know they would have stepped over me in a pink minute

Sooth Songs and Grooves

Where do we began
Since this is beginning
How does it end
To show it's meaning
What to write
To convey my frustration
I like the chorus
But it sounds like
a beginning
Put sum ooh ahs in
A harmonic melody
Some strings and
Bassy grooves
Let the music beg
Me to sing
First verse is missing
Something it lacks
Something
Maybe it needs me
Sweet talking people
to see if there care
The oohs and the ahs
aren't that, repeatives
When we sing it onstage
I'm gonna need
Some strong voices there
Song love me
I think I'm in love with you
Say you need me
Like I need you
Get us where
We gotta be
It's a chart topper
Gone take the hook
Make it a real show stoppa
Alright now
Sweetie do your thing
Fellas tell the ladies
they can really sang
Voice under
Put me over
Right in the middle
Like what I feeling
Mix that lone
guitar with the
Fiddle.

Fried garlic cabbage
With peppers and onions

Lime ,olive oil, fish stock
Dressing
On a cucumber onion salad

Medium rare roasted
Lamb chops
Bread and bacon crust

Premium Member A Thanksgiving Day

Mama's in the kitchen cooking up a storm,
Turkey's in the oven and the house is toasty warm.
Kids are running through the house playing with their toys;
Mama tells them "Keep it down! You're making too much noise."

Daddy's in the living room staying out of Mama's way.
He's waiting to watch the football games scheduled for today.
Grandma and Grandpa are now pulling in the drive,
And behind them all the other guests have arrived.

Hugs and kisses are dispersed - no one will be left out.
Family and friends gathering together is what Thanksgiving is about.
Oohs and aahs of appreciation echo amongst the guests,
At the heavenly aromas in the air from the food about to be blessed.

Holding hands around the table they bow their heads to pray,
Thanking God for His abundant blessings and for the food this day.
Each one takes their turn declaring what they are thankful for.
Hearts are full of love and cheer, who could ask for more?
