Premium Member My Secret Garden

I invite peace within my circle,
shut out the negative that's toxic.
I dwell on what's positive and
keep my distance of all that's poison.
I fill my head with thoughts that
will contribute to a better life.
I chase away any dark thoughts
that bring with them foul clouds.

Nature calls out to me.
Beckons on this gloomy rainy sunday afternoon.
Wants to share my solitude.

Premium Member Sheltering in Her Cowry Shell

securely sheltering it in her shell
       nurturing while within
             heeding to each gentle whisper
to each tap from tiny feet
in time She curls it in her embrace
       caresses it in her hug
              fondles it with boundless care
                     cuddles it with sweetish love-
when fully fledged, sailing the high sea
will it care for the cowry shell, its first home!

nurturing breast

Earth a nurturing breast
richly filled with delightful sensory pleasures
at behest

sights, tastes, touch, smell
hear singing nightingale treasures
life’s swell

swimming
ocean leisures
spring

Earth a nurturing breast
hear singing nightingale treasures
spring

A Teacher’s Hope for 2026

Nurturing minds with hope anew,
Every lesson a guiding light,
Words of wisdom, hearts to pursue.

Eager dreams in the classroom bloom,
Aspiring students lead the way,
Resolute, we step into 2026’s room.

Premium Member Nurturing Love

To truly win a woman's heart
You must earn her love as well
Not just the once do it everyday
It is a must her love will fail

That special lady in your life
You need to spoil her every day
Not with gifts or material things
You spoil her in a different way

Do so with love and affection
Or that hug when she's in need
Show her how much she means
That's how you nurture loves seed

If you care for that seed properly
It will grow up steady and strong
But if you forget to care for it
Then her love will not be long

Premium Member Seeds In Our Hands

There are small seeds
And mighty oaks.
Tender shoots
And weathered bark.
Fragile buds
And blooming gardens.

When we tend to the soil,
Or water the roots?
Nurturing growth.
We never say
This seedling matters.
That one does not.

We plant
And we tend.
We shelter
And we know.
THEY ALL NEED CARE.

Yet somehow,
When we look
At the faces in our classrooms.
Where dreams are now formed.
Where futures wait,
We forget.

Some get sunshine,
Others shadow.
Some have rich soil,
Others are stones.

Don't we see?
Each mind
A garden
Waiting.

Each question
A seed
We plant
Or let's wither.

Each word we speak
Rain
Or drought?
Growing hearts.

Aren't we?
The gardeners
Of tomorrow,
Holding us in our hands
The tender roots
Of every child?

Nurturing Nature of Mother

calling upon her
light of the day
dark of the night
with change of any season
relationship of any kind
happy or sad
crying or laughing
lying or sitting
whole or broken

dwells within me

listens without judgement
replenish my depleted soul
nourish my imbalance body
heal my fragmented heart

growing with her grace
created with her resilience
equipped with her communications
stored with her wisdom
bestowed upon with her love
beheld with her memories
strong with her strength
still with her peace

The Farmer's Hands

The farmer stands with weathered hands,
Tending soils, nurturing the lands.
His heart beats with the Earth's own song,
Though seasons shift and days grow long.

Through drought and storm, he does not break,
For in the soil, his dreams awake.
A quiet strength, both firm and kind,
A bond with nature is intertwined.

Little Bee

The breeze carries me along
My wings are nimble and flowing
I get carried far and wide to find the perfect present
Will what was there yesterday still be there today?
I land on a nurturing flower..
a flower that can bring joy to many
I'm working so hard and fill my little legs full of gold.
The wind then carries me home again.
I'm one of many but, my heart is full when I land home.
I hope my little journey nurtures many.

Premium Member nurturing properties of the woods

Henry was harried and haggard.
down, depressed, despondent and desperate
seeking solitude, serenity and silence
he found a haven in the wilds of west woods
the trees nurtured him back to harmony and health
wood nymphs healed his heart, heartily heartening him
he decided to build a life here
among the evergreens, elms, maples and oaks
trees understood him better than any human ever had
his epiphany garnered enthusiasm and energy
the most humane place in the world, he felt
we who knew him before were amazed by his transformation
many followed his lead, moving to the west woods

Lost Seedlings-Misfits

I came across
lost seedlings--misfits
abandoned in
a musty bin of a garage.

Then heard
a meek mist pleading,
"oh, fern soil, praise them
with your yard."

"Douse kaleidoscope,
cool droplets,
those days scorched--
furnace dark."

"Thus clover-cove
when frigid snow
abrades
their glinting spark."
