Premium Member Yacquelin

Y is for young and her years never show

A is for appreciation of all you have and know

C is for cuddles and those intimate moments we cherish

Q is for quick and there’s no faster wit (all others perish)

U is for upstanding and taking care of yourself

E is for excellence: and your drive of inner self

L is for luck, but she prefers blessings

I is for indispensable, always near those distressing

N is for nurturing: to all that need her presence

[Y]acquelin is in love with a man
[A] romance of May and December
ya[C]quelin is muy hermosa
yac[Q]uelin I will always remember
In an awkward moment I lean in for a h[U]g but refrain
sh[E] started to [L]ean in too, but she too restrained
Do [I] offer a hand shake, she too did hesitate
We say “it’s good to have see[N] you” as I watch her gait

Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Great Cheerer

October 26 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Acts 27-28

Key Verse – Acts 27:25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GREAT CHEERER

Lord God, You are my great Cheerer and Deliverer
from horrible sin-imprisonment
Thank You for Your faith-launching establishment
As You fill me with Your refreshing replenishment
Toward joyous ministry involvement.

Lord God, You are my great Cheerer and Deliverer
from terrible guilt-tempest
Thank You for Your pardon that aids against iniquities' unrest
As You enclose me within forgiveness-best
Toward empowered victory during trial and test.

Lord God, You are my great Cheerer and Deliverer
from fatal eternity-losses
Thank You for Your exhortation that always blesses
As You stand by me to vanquish fears' curses
Toward steadfast service in carrying burdensome crosses.

Lord God, You are my great Cheerer and Deliverer
from everlasting soul-condemnation
Thank You for Your grace, enabling my regeneration
As You secure me by Your assured salvation
Toward holy living along my sanctification.

Lord God, You are my great Cheerer and Deliverer
from attacking spirituality-coldness
Thank You for Your Scriptures bringing me revival zealousness
As You transform me by Your imputed righteousness
Toward prayerful devotion along stewardship's faithfulness.

Lord God, You are my great Cheerer and Deliverer
from vain carnality-suffering
Thank You for Your truth, constantly nursing and nurturing
As You teach me Your ways worth desiring
Toward dedicated servanthood by Your exemplified gearing.

Lord God, You are my great Cheerer and Deliverer
from grievous unbelief-torture
Thank You for Your counsel that protects me against worldly culture
As You guide me by Your compassion and mercy's gesture
Toward sincere commitment to lead others to Your blessings' pasture.

Premium Member Ode To Mrs Obama

Our first image of a gorgeous black Aphrodite
To inhabit the halls of power with charm,
Mrs. Obama moves over the sacred fields deftly
Reclaiming the realm with femininine form.
Sensuously challenging those who dare deny
Her right to bare her bronze sun-kissed skin
As the queen in a staid pallid white world,
She assumes her role with no hint of giving in.

A worthy image of beauty to accompany a giant of a man,
Mrs. Obama came riding eastward her sword at her side.
She planned for an agenda about change most would scorn,
As a product of northern honing oil and heartland pride.
And she feared not the hard and awful destiny ahead
For a beautiful black woman in a loveless town;
As she brought her fashion for elegance and flair,
Allowing a gawking world to see her face was brown.

As a Capricorn, Mrs. O keeps her keen focus on success,
Never surrendering to impatience, doubt or hesitation.
Her aim is narrow and exact, skillfully chosen
And moored on a carefully thought out foundation.
So doing she has inspired black women to reach higher
And see themselves as lovely creatures of great worth,
Endowed by God to motivate, teach, feed and entertain,
With her nurturing, an emerging color diverse earth.

Premium Member Stardust Road

“Stardust Road.”

"Soft defense is driven by my thoughts,
I vanish away into yesterday’s scenic road,
Set the mood among the dark clouds,
Wish I could go back to the night, of fourteen and cold.
Tell me not to look up and cover myself with the world.

Sorry I could not stay,
One too many excuses & lies,
To where they never fixed themselves;
I could not handle the air,
I had to breathe right the cold nights that followed.
I stood as one in love, under the starry sky…
Young and alone, I left the never-ending vindictive feeling.
The dust slept every reason inside my soul.
I travel the world, snoozing with the magic of the sand.
Stars that echo and drop twinkles to my walking toes.
The horizon was my blanket and shield
Where the light and night I wore,
Accelerating, escaping no more justification!
"Oceans of excuses sailed through my soul,
Heartbroken, but in love with defiance toward the stardust novelty.

With a sigh!
I hesitate not to look back,
Somewhere the ages turn to rust:
Old and grey, all alone,

The leaves I stepped on then are trample and gone.
One day I shall return for the proper goodbye.
For now, I must travel down this lonely road silently.
Slowly my heart will heal itself, nurturing the frozen sleet away.
Releasing the 14-year old girl at last,
In a body a mind and soul,
Confronting her with an, I BELONG HELLO!”

            Nature versatile on evolution.
            originates from inorganic state,
          transcends into organic formation.
Flora and Fauna flourishing at best.

            Entwined turbulence-tranquility.
            Nurturing caring or being hostile.
           Mysterious carrying beast and beauty.
Radical display of hues on own style.

            Crimson creation- Charcoal extinction:
Nature smarter than Science to progress.
World runs, rushes in Nature’s discretion
Where to cling, where to mold, where to digress.

Blind process, yet precise on perfection.
             Nature versatile on evolution.

Premium Member The Weeds In the Field

Live life with love and joy
do not let negativity flow
drop the doom and gloom
do not let it be a cycle in life

Plant positive thoughts
keep re-seeding and re-sowing
watering, nurturing and fertilizing
get rid of all self pity

Look for the good not the bad
find the flowers not the weeds
do not fertilize someone's field with negativity
and don't allow others to fertilize yours

While a mind entertains it
the mouth does not have to speak it
plant positive thoughts
it will reap a bounty

As God's servants we tend our fields
we will find plenty of weeds
we will pull them daily
some planted by us some by others

You can pull that weed
or let it become overgrown
do we open the gate to that field
or keep it closed

Look for the good in people
Pray for them, forgive them
Fill life with love and joy
Be thankful for daily blessings.

Premium Member Spring Is In the Air

Dullness slowly gives way and comes to life
As sunrays gently warm a sleepy earth
Blooming dreams in colors devoid of strife
Annual cycle silently gives birth

Air impregnated with vibrant yearning
Nurturing tender lover's kiss and nudge
A compulsion too strong to quell burning
The miracle of buds begin to budge

Spring's balmy droplets of gentle rainfall
Awake a frenzy of thirsty verdure
Provoking sudden surge and free-for-all
We’re moved by such miraculous allure

Spring is in the air with steely resolve
Evolving sure as earth and sun revolve

Premium Member Designing Healthier Landscapes

I would offer an interior
and exterior landscaping contract
to facilitate multicultural designs
for restoring Mother Earth's ecotherapeutic justice,
within each and every ZeroZone of space
and HereNow time,
dear voiceless
and effluently timeless Yin,

But I doubt you will hear this as our optimal WinWin relationship,
given your current repressed lack of status
as Earth's polycultural peace and justice loser
in ZeroSum economies
of Yin must lose commitments to non-violent integrity
for my left brain dominant Yang to ego-win,
today
and for the foreseeable threatening
toxic future.

Hearing no positive deviant psychological response,
I would offer to facilitate your WinWin property healthing climate game,
but I doubt you would become ego-absorbed
in game integrity theories
or non-recursive absence
of reiterative excommunicating theses,

Although, perhaps we share a still small impassioned light
for compassion's ecstasies of experience
remembered from our dual dark nonsectarian space
EarthWomb's original matriarchal yin-flow environmental place
filled with integral nurturing strings
and streams of DNA umbilical wave-linear structures,

Strictures inviting phenomenally wealthy WinWin neural experience,
where left brain consciousness will eventually speak
compassion's right brain interdependent neural perception networks
ego/eco-lateral
bi-lateral Yang inhaling with Yin exhalation
as healthy ego predicts internal wealthy eco-climates
through ancient maternal therapeutic designing memories
of when Yin has progenitor been
more Yang universal out
multiculturally landscaped
than unitarian
polyculturally enriched within.

Premium Member I couldn't talk about it so, I wrote a poem

When metaphors play 'hide and seek,'
my shield is a veil nurturing premature petals.
Yet there are some words that become poems,
to help those who care to read
to interpret the alchemist mystery,
personifying personal alliterative angst.

The heart ponders...
What will abandon me first,
my trusted muse? Who reveals my truth
or my wallflower soul, which prevents
butterfly breaths - breathing their last sigh?

What am I,
but a pomegranate pebble,
oppressed by stones -
in a man's world, feeling like a boy.

Once, I planted two seeds with ultimate care,
but they no longer bloom for my atonement.
Yet, I still care for them from a distance,
soaking their roots with drops of blood.

Once, I found love,
so I formed into a bridge,
protecting her from raging torrents,
but I could not live up to expectations,
as turbulent waves crashed against my chest.

Now I'm crumbling.

Sometimes, I'm left alone upon an unknown path,
with only cloudy horizons above - but I keep wandering.
Hoping to be found.

Slowly, I lose a part of me,
but I'm inexperienced in
trying to be who you want me to be.
I'm tired from being devalued.
Maybe, I'm worthless,
simply useless, some what careless,
so throw your spears -
I no longer feel.

I won't tell.
I'll remain silent,
but my poetry will forever echo.

Simple Musing
An example for my current contest.
