Wearing nothing but rags
We laugh and sail on the seas of the netherworld
Without flags
With iron nails
The lamb laughed on the cross's world
Without wails
With gaffe
Against seas whirled
Laugh
Some souls laughed at their rags
Laughed when they entered heaven's world
Laugh

I take the pill and deep I go,
Where deep wishes and passions flow
Unbidden by the morals of the common world,
Inside my mind, in the netherworld,
I bear witness to tremors of ecstasy,
To love, power and impunity,
Where rape and slaying is normality,
Desire, passion is totality.
Scary emotions overcome me
My own history of reality is insanity
The end of the world engulfs me.
Bringing my thoughts to their knees of immorality.
And then I wake up in reality
My thoughts scattered without loyalty
Crumpled under my desire for newness
For traveling in the shadows of madness.

The cypress trees at water’s edge hedge an entrance.
We circle senseless, aimless, wheezing from the stench.
We are unprepared for this netherworld mischance,
this lifeless pool without birds where we entrench.
Drawn into the grotto leading to the abode of the dead,
we are alarmed to find the design is quite familiar.
Our handwriting and signatures cannot be misread.
All around our cacotopian creation seems so peculiar.
Dank alleys crowded; COVID corpses decompose.
Back when, we passively handed the reign of power
to a petulant fiendish bully we might not now depose.
His smirking cult spews contempt like a shower.
Meanwhile conspiracy capers cavort clucking tongues,
and we view our nihility specters, seeking our escape.
But this vortex germ befouls the air, attacking our lungs.
Our vertigo fatigue means our breakout can’t take shape.
This is long lost Avernus, the black hole of our making.
Thoughtless, this virus only preys on any for the taking.

We will skip off to the Netherworld,
When our time comes,
We will go hand in hand,
As we skip.
We will die together,
As one will fight,
This life is war,
And though we are losing,
We will still skip to the Netherworld.
I will stand by you,
My love everlasting,
Death cannot keep us apart,
We will fight until we fall,
Until death shows us mercy,
But we will still love like humans.
I will always be with you,
I shall always love you,
We will skip with joy,
Not pain,
We will have the rest of eternity together,
I love you forever,
We shall skip off to the Nether world together,
Hand in hand,
Our hearts filled with love,
Not pain.
