Motionlessly Poems

Timeless Elegance

TIMELESS ELEGANCE

Age notwithstanding, I'm lost in the fountain of eternal youth,
Motionlessly moving, with a heart that's full of truth,
Timelessly thriving, in a spirit that's full of proof.³

I am a timeless wonder & my spirit remains vibrant,
Full of life, regardless of age, with a heart that's resilient,
Shining bright, with a soul that's radiant.6

BORN TO WIN

Born to win they all screams, as their teacher instructed

Recite the school motto, right in the assembly ground!

Assembled motionlessly after giving a breathtaking speech

You gotta work hard to breakthrough she holler

Working hard is an old race They howled...

Raise the new generation to work Smart and intelligence

We are not ordinary person, saying no to medoicre spirits

We are destined for greatness, knowledge our wings

No venture no success, she yell

Yeah striving is the old race buildt from war we cried

Raise the new generation to Thrive in grace

It's buildt from love and respect

We are born to win, winning together in unity

Not born to rule over another with presumptuousness

In apartheid, parted Furiously disorder

The older race left us with condemnation and victim mentality

Judging, Crucifying and not taking responsibility for our actions

We are born to win, resolution is our objective

You can become whatever you want she shouted

If we put our minds to it, We all YELP.

Super Duper

they put us
side by side
on a shelf

turning our
keys at the
same time

but we each
have different
tempos as we

motionlessly
pose in stance
atop our music

boxes and turn
merry go round
as if to dance

you a ballerina
me a frog with
tux and tails

top hat cane
complete
Puttin' on the

Ritz which
juxtaposes
though we're

both on one
leg your form
is balanced

on one toe in
that of sacred
geometry

so as our music
slowly slows
yours shows

still melodic
lines symmetrically
infinitesimal eternal

my song has stopped
but in the faintest quiet
yours will always be heard

What a Wonderful World

Sun shining gloriously
Birds singing merrily
River flowing endlessly
Waves of the ocean roar carelessly
The wind rubs on my face motionlessly
Oh ! wow! the earth was made gorgeously

As trees sway with their unique rythm
Birds perch on them branches and
    on them monkeys sling
On the forest floor lie unwanted twigs
Living beings step on them and produce a click

Pouring of the rain I am so blessed
Plants are naturally watered
 and rivers overflow
It brings happiness to all sentient beings
Oh yeah! that includes me as a human being

Flavored Less

Flavorless!!
Anguish reigns yet needs no crown.
Hate spreads without bread or knife, unrelenting.
Shadows became the sun a false shine.
A many mind rewinds and that hated
shame's resurrected.

Am I my own stranger?
I ask...no, demand "why" yet the Titan stirs own the verge of waking. I fear that beast of me.

I wish not to become the monster beneath my own bed, the creature that hides amongst the clothes that motionlessly hangs in the cold, dark closet.

Chaos kiss unwanted and Destiny swung for the fences.
HOME RUN!!!

Splintered the bat
Broke the stick
No need to run the bases
So I sat at home plate and stare out into the field.

No team opposed I played, struggled, fought, and lost
Only against myself.
Fury flirts with the edge of self
Many tease their flawed belief of my humanity.
Think that I be weak
When truth....
I am not the lion but the Cage.

Pull My Strings

In the covert rendezvous of reality
My heart habs motionlessly.
Tranquilly, yet peace-less
In the very art of loneliness
I crave for a minstrel
Endowed with mastery of the timbrel
Cunningly curing the blisters of emotion
And poking my pox of dissatisfaction.

Fools In the Wind

“What are we when we are not...?”

MAN: A malevolent master making mountains of a mindless mass...
A meaningless magician motionlessly manipulating many minds...
A mating monster majestically magnifying materialistic manoeuvres...
A Machiavellian macho muscular merciless mentor...
A mutilating medieval malicious menacing Minotaur...
             A mesmerizing metamorphic methodical maniac...

Woman: A whimsical weeping wacky wasted wanderer...
A whiny weaponed weathered wedded wife...
A wicked whiskey wasteful wiggly wench...
A wintry whiplash winded wrathful wroth...
A worried weary wishful wispy wild wire...
A wretched wormy woeful wounding wolf...

Changes

As the time passes by
Like the days and nights exchange
All things in a man don’t seem same.

It may have been god's pleasure
To seek change in all men
As if he felt to stare
Motionlessly at motionless things pleasure-less.

Victim of Politics

Simple joys
took for granted
a life worth living
lost beyond the horizon
silently seeking a dream
lost among the crowded streets
longing to succeed
wander i do
can't understand why they won't speak
not a glimpse back at me
just a face in a sea of strange
drowning out what i feel
motionlessly staring out above their heads wanting change
but not reacting not directing these timid words
life a blur an altered appearance of perfection i pro tray
chained to the dark ******** of society forced to suck it all in
a slave to the times raped by a government's weakness
bleeding and bruised i continue on with out a care still believing this won' t happen again but it does everyday over and over again pounded to the curb
just a number in a universe of unknowing
a forgotten victim of politics as usual

These Days There Are Nights

There are nights
When the moon sits still
While the stars float
In no particular manner
All about the sky

Nights
When dreams
Come to rest
Gently
Quietly
Motionlessly
On my shoulders

There are nights
Outside
In the darkness
The wind
Dances in circles
All about earth
Calling my name

Sometimes
There are nights
When dreams never come
And though I chase them
While I sleep
They have learned
To hide from me
Much too well
To ever find

But these days
There are nights
That hold nothing more
Than promises
Spoken in the darkness
That tomorrow
May
Or may not
Come

On the Bus

Every week day, same time, same bus, he is there, and I’m careful not to stare
But I can’t take my eyes off his curly shoulder length hair, hopelessly wondering

A face not popularly handsome, but such kind bluey- green eyes, deeper than the ocean
Tall, not slender and a quirky style of dress, not to impress. He kept me curiously wondering

Briefcase, serious and tanned, but scraggy like a boxers face, taken from place to place
Manicured hands with no adornment, no subtle signs of betrothment, I smiled hopefully wondering

Today he caught me in my stare, my face flushed pink, I look away I couldn’t think
But I saw his smile and for that short while my heart skipped a beat, as I sat motionlessly wondering

The bus had halted, where we both alight, my mind was racing as I caught sight
Standing on the kerbside, holding out his hand to me, I reached out breathlessly wondering

Hand held firm but gentle, and like cheshire cats smiling, arrayment of colours so beguiling
‘Have you time for a coffee’ I heard him say, my reply what a perfect day, still wondrously wondering

Habit of You

I sit aside my ruptured moon with fork and spoon in hand.
i sit aside an empty seat giving the waiter my demand.
a hot plate of pancakes with syrup on the side.
a hot plate of loathing depressed from the ones who died.

Caught motionlessly driving; exporting drugs to a friend in need
only to find the drugs were for me to once again feel the air to breath.

gasping searching moaning desperate.
glancing at my stretched out hand.
crawling on the floor stretching my hand out to block the sun.

but the sun is my god; my savior but he blinds me from the truth
these drugs that help me breath tonight are the things holding me tight.

how did she find me
oh how did she find me
i hid so well as it rained.
the angles scream as billy sings for i too put concrete in my veins.

no ones a fan to the truth of a scary sound
depression to aggression slowly turns to a killers rage.
to cut it short i tie this nose in front of millions of people and hang dead on the stage.

Without You.

Two years without your footsteps on the earth,
how strange then
that life has gone on
without you,
Flowers have blossomed, bloomed and withered,
whole seasons have passed
without acknowledging our loss,
Defiant of our grieving
the sun
has gone about her business,
and the moon
still nightly appears
as if nothing has changed
but the passing of years.
I thought for a while at least,
for a little
little while
time should
have stood
still,
and the elements
out of respect ,
should have silently and motionlessly wept
But days have come and gone
one,
after the other
and another and another,
two years
and
life goes on
without your footsteps
seasons pass without your song
two years
and I carry you with me
your breath has ceased
your spirit strong.

Just a Day...

M y…O My!
O paque, can only describe the void
T hat engulfs the sky,
H ide me, for my forlorn spirit
E mbodies pain which I deny,
R ain, as it precipitates my cries…

Just a day…
Without seeing your silhouette,
Blinded by your absence, as I regret
My powerlessness…

Just a day…
As I sit and wait,
            Impatiently, I anticipate
Your warmth, your tenderness…
Motionlessly, I sit and contemplate,

Just a day…
As it perpetually passed by,
             As opaqueness drenched the sky…
I calmly sighed, as I picked up a calendar…

I crossed out “Day one” with tears in my eyes…
As I quietly murmured,
“Six more days to go…”

A Dream of Reality

Her eyes are filled with hate,
                       With darkness and no faith,

In her hand was a knife,
She wanted to end my life,

Closer, she came to me,
But her face was unclear to see,

I knew this was the end,
There was nothing I could mend,

Frantically, she stabbed my heart,
                         Feebly, I fell apart,

I fell on the cold ground;
                          Loud noises concealed all sounds,

Blood submerged me,
My eyes were bleary, I couldn't see,

Suddenly, emerged a light,
Flooding the place, it was bright,

This light took away all the pain,
Like the sun it shined, on all the drops of rain...

Motionlessly, I lay on my bed,
With pain seeping upon my skin,
And a heart that bled...
