Once Upon a Hundredth Time Pt 2

We are the same, but oh so different-
both intrigued by life's strange flow.

Inquisitive as to how-
my Hellish life's led to this "home".

He'd shown light upon my scars-
in ways I'd never seen before.

He did not dismiss their depths-
but led me to so much more.

So I traversed uncharted places-
In hopes I'd find my purpose.

And though the journey scares me-
he assures me that it's worth it.

So I dipped my toes in first-
and then submerged into the depths.

I took his outstretched hand-
and prayed my safety would be kept.

Through most of my life-
I'm the one whes giving care.

To everyone around me-
Always had love to spare.

So now that he is here-
and has stooped down to hold me.

The warmth it does confuse me-
I fear such love might control me.

I seep into your skin-
and try inhabiting this space.

There's nothing in this world-
quite like that smile on your face.

Without much thought at all-
I'll infect you through and through.

I'm hoping that you'll catch me-
as I fall back into you.

Just as I start to trust the fall-
you step, just out of view.

And suddenly my safety net-
escapes along with you.

Why the sudden change the heart? -
with only hollow words to respond.

But the way your lips move-
they paint the most enticing sounds.

I'm desperate now to feel the warmth-
that you wrapped around my heart.

I search for any way-
(to) revive what we had from the start.

There's no way it just dissapeared-
with such fine in our eyes.

Or was I simply Foolish-
to think youd want me all your life?

What is it I keep missing?
when people offer me their love?

Honestly, it's probably-
that I can't be loved at all.

Or maybe I am just naive-
and I just can't help myself.

When pretty smiles, speak pretty lies-
it conveys an unfeigned help.

To think that one could care so much-
and believe I'm worth protecting.

That someone sees these scars-
and actually wants for me true healing.

See, all of these are ways-
of which I truly thought he felt.

And that leaves me conflicted-
in lieu of all pain he's dealt.

Again, nobody's perfect-
were only human after all.

But how could someone love so much-
then motionlessly, watch me fall?

Remembered Or Forsaken

The ill woman in the wheelchair
was outspoken,elegant and fair,
and lived her life in exhuberant riches;
now, finds herself to the mercy of others,
her frazzled mind tries to recreate an image
of those adored faces she touched with grace!
Why have they left her in such a demeaning state,
when her weary and empty hands don't render and please?

The thoughtful and athetic soldier, so fair-haired,
writes his war memoirs in a small notebook
sent to him by his girl-friend who lives in Holboken;
he is the perennial prisoner of human error:
roaming in a labyrinth with a missing door,
struggling to free himself from the cold underworld...

The murderer,the robber,the rapist and the hood-lum
stand before the judge looking stern and tough,
scrutinizing the silent court-room:
he feels for the remorseful and repentant
as the jury slowly reads the verdict,
but the sentence is worse than death...

The new-born is abandoned rapidly
on a stranger's door-steps mercilessly,
on the front door a sign reads,"KEEP AWAY!";
the crying baby needs his tending mom
to put him to sleep with a sweet lullaby
and halt his relentless weeping with a hush...

The dazed and frayed kid, so down-low,
sits motionlessly in a filthy corner;
dependency on harmful substance
has made him a scavenger and a destitute;
and whoever dragged him into his addiction,
was a demon with a wrathful intention...

Some exceptional individuals wiil be raised
to immortal glory without a controversy,
many will be condemned to shame,to be mocked
and charged with an unforgivable heresy:
the powerful and rich will decide their fate:
to be either remembered or forsaken...

You Will

He was there for a moment, then gone,
Lost in a dark mist of my doubts

And my strange guardian appeared before me,
His tie blood red,
His stance taller than usual,
His long arms softly to his sides

I drew near,
My face tear stained and pained
He stared forward motionlessly

I asked him,
“Why do I keep dreaming about him?”

He stood there still,
And quietly replied,

We haunt those that we think of the most

Dumbfounded, I knew his thoughts,
But could not confront those feelings
I asked him,
“But why? Why is it so torturous?”

 Your mind tortures you,
Because you allow it to torture you. . .

He set his hand on my shoulder,
And I suddenly felt sleepy
I tried to fight it,
But I found myself in his arms
Willingly

I awoke in a shelter of trees,
And he was there, watching me
Sitting up, I stared at his presence in wonder
He moved towards me slowly,
As if approaching a wounded animal

His face became clearer,
And my heart began to race
“Is this real?” I asked weakly.
“Are you real? Or is this fantasy?”

A forgiving smile appeared on his blurry features,
As he lifted me up and set me on a gnarly branch
He only stared at me,
As if he was waiting for a miracle

“Maybe it’s best that I don’t know.”
He nodded slowly, then embraced me

I cried a lot. . .
It was as if I was hugging the last of everything
The last of him,
And the last of what we had. . .
Holding me still,
I was quieted by his touch,
His head lifting, leveling to mine

And he said again, darkly,
We haunt those that we think of the most. . .

I panicked in his arms as he smiled at me
“I may never see him again.”

His smile faded as he said,
You will.

Fixed Gaze

                                   To capture the distant gaze
Of the aged's milky blue eye
                                     Is to gaze into eternity.

Is it my eye they see
                                       Or a distant memory,
                                          The tiniest mote,
                                       The light of a spark?

                                       Fixed upon a place
                                      Staring motionlessly,
                                         Fearing to miss
                                            A glimpse
                                     Of who they might be.

                                       A feeling of falling
                                 Into the vastness of space.
                                   No beginning no ending
                                Consciousness lost in place.

                                   I swear we connected
                                   Within that long stare.
                                   The horror of knowing
                                   Too soon I'd be there.
                                       A milky blue iris
                                   Not seeing the world
                                       Not seeing me.

                                        Fixed gaze,
                               The world staring back
                                           At me.

Good Morning To Betrayal -1-

Drapes clashing from a clear, dark night
The remarkable scene- the risk I must take flight

Don't listen to all the commotion

You are an attrition to hunger
Save it for leftovers
Molded out of anxiety

Have no fear
Fate is far from here

Nurture in burning threat
Appease to sorrow
Deny it...no borrowing from the library

Take your flight, you sunlit fairy
On a cloudless, scarlet sky

The stars will motionlessly
Churn your fate to royal destiny
Take your flight, feel free to flee
Out of the grip of society's downfalls

Replace it with honor...be my hero for good

Your traits are nothing sinister
As a carefree, scarlet night
Conquer the unfailing life
Taking away all the sporadic soars

Please take away the malaise and
Don't burn me up, majestic star

Space of wonders
How could you burn our hearts?
How could you mutter those
Floating aspirations?
Canceling your circulations

Tangled by lips-spoken twist of lies
Pouring out misunderstood darkness
Outriding the black hole

Who knows what these dark shadows reveal
It's mysteries-- as hard as a bolt to a door

Thrive to carry on,
you carefree infant

Untie the tightening ceases
I'm unable to catch up...reach out
Overcome this rotting intuition

Severe, sincere sunshine
Hear my morning mourning
It whispers:

"Goodbye to midnight lust...
Good morning to betrayal"

Good morning...
To you, oh miserable soul!

River of weeping wonders
Pass by with a suitable
Recognizable, scarlet bliss
Send love swimming in
Open water
Fulfill it with
Morning deligh

BORN TO WIN

Born to win they all screams, as their teacher instructed

Recite the school motto, right in the assembly ground!

Assembled motionlessly after giving a breathtaking speech

You gotta work hard to breakthrough she holler

Working hard is an old race They howled...

Raise the new generation to work Smart and intelligence

We are not ordinary person, saying no to medoicre spirits

We are destined for greatness, knowledge our wings

No venture no success, she yell

Yeah striving is the old race buildt from war we cried

Raise the new generation to Thrive in grace

It's buildt from love and respect

We are born to win, winning together in unity

Not born to rule over another with presumptuousness

In apartheid, parted Furiously disorder

The older race left us with condemnation and victim mentality

Judging, Crucifying and not taking responsibility for our actions

We are born to win, resolution is our objective

You can become whatever you want she shouted

If we put our minds to it, We all YELP.

Victim of Politics

Simple joys
took for granted
a life worth living
lost beyond the horizon
silently seeking a dream
lost among the crowded streets
longing to succeed
wander i do
can't understand why they won't speak
not a glimpse back at me
just a face in a sea of strange
drowning out what i feel
motionlessly staring out above their heads wanting change
but not reacting not directing these timid words
life a blur an altered appearance of perfection i pro tray
chained to the dark ******** of society forced to suck it all in
a slave to the times raped by a government's weakness
bleeding and bruised i continue on with out a care still believing this won' t happen again but it does everyday over and over again pounded to the curb
just a number in a universe of unknowing
a forgotten victim of politics as usual

Super Duper

they put us
side by side
on a shelf

turning our
keys at the
same time

but we each
have different
tempos as we

motionlessly
pose in stance
atop our music

boxes and turn
merry go round
as if to dance

you a ballerina
me a frog with
tux and tails

top hat cane
complete
Puttin' on the

Ritz which
juxtaposes
though we're

both on one
leg your form
is balanced

on one toe in
that of sacred
geometry

so as our music
slowly slows
yours shows

still melodic
lines symmetrically
infinitesimal eternal

my song has stopped
but in the faintest quiet
yours will always be heard

Riding On A Bicycle

Mr Wems Temmy!
Riding on a bicycle...
Will you want to carry me?
Mr Wems Temmy!
Jump on!
Miss Blessing,
Jump on!
Mr Wems Temmy!

Every stroke
On the pedals
Is against my will
To move on...
As the echoes
All in my head
Keep radiating
Her voice like voices
Of unrest frogs at night

Her words poke
My legs backpedals
Motionlessly still
Conscience swan
Heartbeats skip airflows
Mouth's words unsaid
Opened up initiating
My mind's closet choices
Into an awesome delight

Lonely, I share the mystery
Dancing to the echoed tune
Up with its low tone going high
Nouns into verbs imperatively
Makes me mastered them all
Yet absent is the face that speaks

Isn't this mind adultery?
Thinking of sandy wind's dune
Near the lake of my heart's sigh
Romancing her far mind imaginatively
Of how possible weather naturally fall
Cum constant changes techniques

Upon this weary thought
My mind embraces the puzzle

Of every tight filled storm fought
Watered mind's sighs thoughts guzzle

And again, I heard...

Mr Wems Temmy!
Riding on a bicycle...
Will you want to carry me?
Mr Wems Temmy!
Jump on!
Miss Blessing,
Jump on!
Mr Wems Temmy!
