His soul was set with his hard heart
Mine eyes shadows seeing a lark
All one can do is just hope pray
Elohim Father granting us a stay
Soar abundant dreams of solace
Holy verse of feet rhythm dance

Just a bit of time
My pretty Vivienne Lei
Gave me a sheer joy.

Free Verse
A lei of beautiful fragrant rose
That blooms in the garden of love
A citrine California poppy
That attracts everyone.
Zoe Lei, you're so cutesy
Your manner is sociable, folksy
Intelligent girl, pride of the family
God’s glory as you perform your duty.
Keep up the good work baby
We pray for you everyday
Asking God's guidance and felicity
That you may continue to feel His mercy.
Though we may be away in distance
But our heart is deeply entwined
Someday, we'll be again inweave
And together enjoy a family's happiness.
Mum sent me off to Sunday School
To learn about the Golden Rule
But Satan said,
"Look! Ilene's shed!
What shall we do for May Day Fool?"
The frozen north has never appealed to me
Was born to live in the tropics near the sea
Eighty-six years of cold
On a tropic isle I'm sold
Love wearing my pretty lei golly gee
the garland braved the ocean’s crested might
a narrow surfboard bobbed in and out of sight
exotic waves welcomed currents and its spray
a feast of skill and courage at Waimea Bay
I tried it once but could not go the distance
fell off and had to swim despite my insistence
I looked towards land ahead and checked behind
hoped that strength stamina and luck were kind
gulped water from above and sand down beneath
surrendered prayed and touched the sacred wreath
a dolphin waved her fin and gave me a kind ride
the moral of the tale is you must check the tide

Past sixty, I can sharpen well
On pencils, invite wise romance -
Each held right, Sharp'ner in left, hand(s)
Tight, soft, tight, soft, easy does it
Recall youth: Sharp'ning loud and quick
You broke them more than you'll admit
(c) Deo, shalom, shalom: Not much longer to OVERCOME Covid19 (SARS Co19)
Princely, proud with nobility,
I fear you ride in vanity.
Host not the sword but spare thine heart,
for tomorrow you must depart.
But take heed, know my love's expense,
to sleep one night, lest hundred hence.
Take this token, that holds my soul,
that you might return safe and whole.
Your beauty so pure, calm like snow,
Mesmerises me, now I know.
Your divine smile, brightens my day,
Now worries from past, will not stay.
Your heart is filled with love and care,
How blessed am I, to have you near.
You are the one I met in dreams,
Beyond beautiful, my life seems.

I saw him first, a god on earth
A treasure of unequalled worth.
A shy approach, with butterflies
And briefly he and I locked eyes.
He’s in another woman’s arms
Delirious she from his charms
Still she intros me to handsome . . .
I am holding my new grandson!

What comes round
goes back around
and never has it's say
When all who go
to brack around
will never fell
a lei
To be yours means never needing,
as my starving heart you’re feeding.
Our dalliance of romance, firm-
ethereal hearts shall affirm.
Idyllic~ touching me with ease,
our resonating love shan’t cease.
Sing to me a soft lullaby;
(he pulls me close…I gently sigh)

We sail away beneath the sun -
vows made. Our journey’s now begun.
We glide till twilight’s tangerine
drips into ocean’s azure-green.
To shore we’re led by June’s light breeze.
You give my hand a little squeeze.
We wait for time most opportune
for honey underneath the moon!

rhyme pattern: aabbccdd
On moonlit strolls along the beach
Ardor is never out of reach
To rhythmic waves two lovers dance
And ignite the flames of romance
Then love completes the hearts desire
A timeless treasure to acquire
Love has delight enough for two
And lights the path for hearts so true

I‘d love to view the northern lights,
a stunning sight which brings delights
Dark skies awash with vivid blues,
with pinks and green or yellow hues
A rainbow in the evening sky -
this spectacle would catch my eye!
To see these lights would make my day ...
must visit Iceland or Norway!
