Café tables on terrasse drenched in rain ~
everyone’s indoor as if on hold
waiting impatiently for the sun to come out.
April showers bring may flowers
but we aren't happy to pay the price ~
meanwhile the rain stubbornly won't let up.

I don’t mind a day indoors
When windshield wipers show
That rain is pouring from the sky
To puddle down below.
As long as I squeeze in my walk,
Which I did early on,
I’ll find enough to do at home
Until the gloom is gone.
Of course, I’ll still ignore those chores
Which really are a pain.
To force me to declutter
It will take much more than rain.

The summer of great outdoors
Has become the winter of discontent.
Families hunkering down indoors,
Tring to find various ways to be content.
Damage of economic uncertainty,
I rather have muddy boots to clean.
And reasons to live and think positively.
Before the cold winter froze my dream.
Tapping into those demons beyond the remit
There is emotional privacy creating space.
Linked family and friend’s intimate closet,
Estate, separate and safe, a kind time waste.
A path less taken to the peak of intent,
The new belief of seeing around corners.
Being heroic in the winter of discontent,
We find ourselves asleep with desires.
What visions mean to change our course
From oceans dragging the world under.
Soughing waves gasp for breathless pause,
Awaken to find darker things in the hour.
We feel the darkness invading our soul.
Fear, anger, and blame, waiting to explode.
Doubt held the reins balancing the world,
All sides of the human condition grow cold.

Poor doggy in the hard rain
no umbrella to hide the pain
housing society gates shoo them out
space under parked cars in knee-deep troughs
men and women stuck indoors, sip hot tea
children barred from school sing do re me
closed offices due to waterlogged streets
white and black clouds play hide and seek
sailed paper boats in the curly road water
drowned by waves of passing vehicle tire
memories of rain in the football field
chase the ball on wet grass, slide on the heel
a crow picks a crumb from claws of another
quickly beaks a crumb lying in a corner

indoors
since people outside wear masks
and I can´t see if they laugh or cry.
Since bars are shut.
Since I´m reduced to look at ladies handbags
in the posh shops nearby
there no point going out.

Candle Indoors
Here I stand beside a well lite candle I can't deny
I muse at how all that you are as I put you back
Within my mellow moisture of nights mild and elusive so bleak as black
Of all things glowing tenderly as tram Bo leans flow beneath my eye.
Or beside my window which had what task to which fingers do ply.
I thus plod all alone waiting-wondering just a need for lack
Often I answer the all wanting more eager because of Jessie or Jack
Therefore, God is to be perfect of all beauty and purpose to which God is all to glorify.
May you come into and enter our home as your fading fire
To forcefully mend your first and vital candle upon your close hearts vault:
Now I'm telling you, you are master of your own desire
To whatever hinders your lightened beam to which has blinded you to a fault.
Now you can ask yourself are you adept at the lower handed which could make you a liar
And unconsciencely cast out a quick spend cost like savor of salt.

Note: Jessie and Jack are my twin brothers; they seem to always be into some small kind of trouble. Nothing to do with the law. Just brotherly fighting and arguing.

Golfing Is Great When Done Indoors
How many ways would I have to count
To finally come up with a fair amount
That to tide me over would be enough
If things got tough and ended up in the rough.
Golf games are like a bear who is grizzly
When outside it starts to become drizzly
Guess what golfers and bless their heart
Start heading straight for their golf cart.
When golf game and weather are miserable
It would be more desirable and sensible
While playing, it more and more pours
You dazzle your fans by doing it indoors.

Today,
small things ask some uncomfortable
questions. I enter the eye of a wound.
Unscathed, will i obey the law
of believing ; the round mirror?
It reflects the absolute truth?
Consolations,
they begin the attack in the valley
of thoughts ; words, were hung
over the paper, spill the ink
like blood on the street.
Who will lift the corpse?
Words on the wings ;
let them drop
like stones, like knives. The flesh is raw,
bones white a century is going to sing.
