Aghast

Aghast.

The full moon
Throws blue light on clouds
Winter night
Dry landscape
And all lovers sit indoors
Watching “Come Dancing”

To be able to stay indoors to poo

Premium Member One Coin - Two Sides

One coin; two sides

Cold, dark, eerie night
Vampires spreading terror
In wayfarers hearts.
Indoors, lovers snuggled tight
Of the terror, oblivious!

Mosquitoes
Summer's pesky buzzy biters
Mosquitoes

In summertime everyone goes
(unless to show off like fighters)
indoors to thwart itchy-nighters.
Mosquitoes.

Premium Member Royal Tea

The Royal Family drinks lots of tea
They drink it with sugar, raising their pinkies
   At ten, two and four
   You'll find them indoors
That Royal Tea makes them pee constantly

Fried Freddy

He came home fried.
His wife cried “Fred,
you tied one on!”

Fred fell indoors,
on all fours and
now snores soundly.

The moral here:
drink one beer and
stay near to dear.

How many roads must a man stumble down Before an officer escorts you downtown And how many times Must you give a dog a sign No depositing stuff indoors the color brown

It's around the corner, of snow I speak Wouldn't it be nice if it would last just a week I'd stay indoors Involve in discourse Bout the news of the day, with joy I'd shriek

Gone

Gone far
Drifting away
Crying on one’s shoulder.
The tears touching the floor indoors.
Far gone.

Holding
Back our sad tears.
Moving onto a new
Adventure to discover new
Things. Gone.

Green

I won't stay indoors
The clouds collecting on clouds
Have made me skyward
I will mingle in your rains
And grow green again with you

Indoors

indoors

since people outside wear masks
and I can´t see if they laugh or cry.
Since bars are shut.
Since I´m reduced to look at ladies handbags
in the posh shops nearby
there no point going out.

Premium Member Bravery Long Lost

guys~
get a grip
don’t be wimps
it’s not like
you’re being asked
to suit up for war

stay indoors and let this pass
stay out of the way of
brave people doing their work

Premium Member Protesting

Protesting late arrival of spring
This long winter's been lingering
Seriously overstayed its welcome
Not leaving till it's warm and sunny
I’m staying indoors to shout and pout

Laziness

Like to stay indoors for
long without doing much ,
Love to eat and watch films
late into the night and
laugh while drinking beer with
Little regards for  son ;
Lives on wife grace always .

Premium Member Tiny Pony

I have a tiny pony,
so small she lives indoors.
She scampers up the stairway
to sleep atop my bedspread.

I never can be lonely
for this wee horse adores
To be with me all day
To share my buttered cornbread.

Premium Member Bouquet Day

glad morning bouquet
in many shades of sunshine
scented in its rays

a large one was picked
in the morning of summer
and the mansion smiled

no wind waltzing now
for it is quite wild indoors
at Rosenblum House

And Then Make Love

I’m glad of April rain,
Keeping us indoors
Inside our rattled window pane
While the night storm pours.

The rain’s a winding sheet,
Shrouding up the night;
Inside we drink and talk and eat
By a fire built bright.

Carnival

carnival -- indoors
instead of outdoors -- has a
stifling air to it

silk wearing psychic --
mouth with an overbite -- tells
the future glibly

basketball game -- hoops
too small for tossing -- gives a
large dust-covered prize
