Without Giving in

What if I did?
would the world fall?
the sun blazing
through my skin,
would find its way over
The horizon again.
Forcibly self restrain my breathing
screaming, end me.
But
the stars
Deny me entry
And rise. Nothing changes
So I remain
Tethered to life
by this friend-
Fear.

Giving in

I wrote something a while ago
I was mad that you were back
But now I feel myself letting go
It's all numb and the anger I lack

I am giving in to you again
Hold my writes out
And let you tie them
"Why can't you just figure this out"

The thought sparks in my head
And stabs through my heart
The glass shatters and all I see is red
"You can never just face the bad part"

Always need someone to carry you
Never strong enough to just make it through

Weak broken and alone
That's all you will ever be
You beg them so an ear they will loan
You are a burden and add to a load heavy already

I always go back to you
Because it's easier than doing the real 'work'
The idea tempts and I go through
You clouded my thoughts with your senseless murk

Giving In I Feared

trying to hold back all the tears
I sat there stunned, I was upset
would He give up, give in I feared
He has much to do just yet
heal the blind
feed the poor
to them be kind
to those give more
while I was there I found a peace
His precious heart was one with mine
then I felt a sweet release
I prayed He'd heal, He'd heal in time

Giving In

The rainbow comes after the storm they say
But my storms are ever lasting
And my rainbows short-lived.
I don't want to know how much I mean to the world,
When the world means nothing to me.
This constant stagnation of life is tiring
And I have waited long enough
To finally give in to the depths
Of the shadows that call me in.
To surrender to the temptation
Of being set free from this chaos that torments me
Is all I yearn for.

Giving In To My Darkness

Like a shadow living over,
Mirroring what I do,
Jealous number thirteen,
Making all my accidents happen too,
Laughter as I lose jealousy as I win,
Each time I pay tribute to my life living within,
Sacrifice the glory,
Live without a name,
The darkness of my mind finally reclaims the shame,
When you accept yourself fully even in death,
Thoughts as they happen will always pay respect,
Each day happened and I do say this,
Each day I had a come up like a ritual had exists,
I had a choice sacrifice it all in the man made world,
Maybe lose out on friends and girls,
Or be plagued begging for Jesus like a burro.

Gradually Grudgingly Giving In
David J Walker

The cold holds no such
Color so bold as winters bite
remembering so many a
Summer night
The warm leaving
Sweat so wet on
The back of your neck
in the faded moonlight
that looked for all the same
In December
until you factor in
the distant solstice sun and the
Longer nights

The cold will hold on
As long as it can
Gradually
	Grudgingly
Giving in

Giving In Secret

Whenever you make a donation
rather than seeking an ovation
let your gift be in secret.
     For while it's unseen yet
in heaven you'll receive approbation.

Matthew 6.1-4

Giving In

A little chill has crept inside
Since summer's skulked away.
At first a sweatshirt does the trick
To keep the cold at bay.

But finally I must give in,
Admitting my defeat,
For up go the electric bills
When we turn on the heat.

Premium Member Giving In Can Be Wrong

The pain is real enough

Throughout we must be tough

Life deals with us this way

For some is all play, play, play!

For us it's find a way

To achieve a better day

The rolling hills of life

Down and up; two different sides!

Stress and strain purely to survive

Fragile minds - nowhere to hide

Together with hope and strength we find a way

To live our life a better way.

Giving In

Lady, I will touch you with my hands and feel your body start to tremble...
Until you give me that "look" to keep going....
I want to taste a Lady like you, have me do what you want
Want to hear your Lady moans, Lady screams....of pleasure and pain
I want to make a Lady like you sweat.... feel you when you're wet
Throw you up against a wall and make you feel weak
I want to see you grip the bed sheets and seeing how badly you need me...... don't fight it
Release yourself to me

Giving In

I kind of feel like giving up

Like drifting aimlessly

I suppose I already am though

just a dandelion in a fire fight

I’ll burn myself at all ends,

Full speed ahead !

A snail could beat me in race

I’m only pacing my daydreams

I’d never double dare deck my wild fantasies

On the walls that are just as empty as my heart

---------------
Me being burnt out at work.

Giving In

I'm conflicted, my head is
twisted. I can't hide my pain
inside any longer. It's breaking
me down. I've been battling an
endless war inside myself. To
headstrong to give into this
aching heart of mine. I'm sick
of it all. In the most desprite
way I need a reset button. I
want to wake and be a new
man. I'm conflicted despite all
the good in my life. I'm forever
a tortured soul. My black cloud
still remains over head. The
sun hasn't shined on me in
days. I'm getting to old to fight
this battle alone. I'm giving in
I need a shoulder to lean on.
This weight has become to
heavy for me to bare.
Weakness is what's left of the
strong man I once was.

Giving In To the Gray

Overwhelmed with fear I whispered into the rain
Disarming defenses, Giving in to the gray
Tearing down all of my shelter within my hollowed decay
While this echoing silence gave every tear drop a name
They begin filling the voids with mundane hopes for a change
Heaven will save me from this hell and blue skies will reign
Lazily lay in green grass watching clouds drift away
It's all but a deflated dream now that the colors have changed
My thoughts have become restless noise of uncertainties rearranged
Damning all of my emotions, lies decorated with grace
Now I stand with a hardened heart in the sobering autumn rain
I'm disarmed and defenseless, Giving in to the gray

Giving In To Temptation

>center?Giving In To Temptation...

I remember of a particular situation.
I was offered a very "inviting" temptation.

The situation I was in... I didn't belong!
And lost any sense of
"right and wrong."

At first... I felt no guilt or shame.
And brought embarrassmen
 to my family's name.

I tried to explain this to
 my wife and kids.
I heard; "Dad... please...
  no more fibs!"

The Godly principles were
"tossed to the side,"
As the sin inside caused
arrogance and pride.

Soon, all in my life that truly mattered.
Was all gone... and my life
was empty and shattered!

I was sorry for all of the
problems I had caused/
This time... I took a moment to pause/

I cried to God to rescue me from my sin.
And confessed. Would God help me once again?

I read in the Bible of our
 saviour's grace and love/
This time the help I needed had
to come from above/

I asked him for a fresh and brand new start.
He removed the stain from a broken heart.

He restored to me the joy I once had.
I'm so thankful... Jesus has made me glad!

YOU--Jesus--are the reason I'm here today!
I LOVE YOU! More than words can say!
