Without Giving in

What if I did?
would the world fall?
the sun blazing
through my skin,
would find its way over
The horizon again.
Forcibly self restrain my breathing
screaming, end me.
But
the stars
Deny me entry
And rise. Nothing changes
So I remain
Tethered to life
by this friend-
Fear.
