We must remind
Our children of
Those false-fun
Pranks, 
That can cost
Their lives,
And false-glory
Thanks:- 
We must not
Allow ourselves
To be parents
That endorses pranks
To warrant 
Our children’s thanks
For being allowed
To inject pain and fear
Upon those of us
In which kids’ pranks
Are not so clear:-
Indeed, with a prankster
Child shot and killed,
We can’t just
And

Forgiving

Repent, and you shall be forgiven
And hopefully, reinstated
If you are conscience-driven
It’s much appreciated 
No need to come up with objections
Just humbly take the charge
Accept all stupid allegations
Before they grow too large 
The astute will suspect you’re kidding
Those will be a minority
Most of the judges will believe you
So blessed by their authority
You go whatever way you

Forgiving And Forgetting

Forgiveness and forgetting,
are not joined at the hip.
We can still love the person,
but not forget their lip.

I thank God each day,
for my many second chances.
When He forgave He forgot,
with no backward glances.

It is comforting to know,
that God remembers no more.
My previous shortcomings,
before opening my heart’s door.

It’s quick and easy to say forgive,
with hope’s we didn’t

Forgiving the Ghosts

I’ve carried you—
the ones who broke me,
the ones who left me raw and trembling,
thinking your absence was my fault.
I’ve held onto the hurt,
thinking if I didn’t let it go,
I could protect myself from you.

But forgiveness is not for you.
It’s for the girl who still believes in love,
for the woman who deserves peace,
for the heart that

Distancing before forgiving

I would love it if I could just smile at you back and talk with you whenever I feel the: "want to".
I would love it If we could just sit next to eachother and laugh.
That I could joke with you too.
I accepted that I can't forgive out loud, 
I accepted that time can't change things

To forgive is to love.
Forgiving someone is as hard as it is to love them.
At this point, I can testify that it is a narrow path to tread,
You look on, while the best opportunities to avenge melt away from your sight.
Then, you open your doors to those that have wounded you,

Forgiving Others Sets Us Free

Forgiveness is a gift of God
for he is the perfect forgiver
casting all our sins far away
promising to always fully deliver

When we cast ourselves on the Lord
to receive His wonderful salvation
then we can be filled with His spirit
to fulfill His will on each occasion

Now when people treat us wrongly
God wants us to forgive them
true Christian behavior

FORGIVING

Forgiveness – well, just let it lay inside
Not to see any daylight, maybe never
No moment of weakness or surrender
If a request received, return to sender
It’s not about strength or being clever
And no way back once regret has died

Some might suggest an alternative way
Being the first to say I forgive, out loud
But for me, however, that

Comradeship

Relationship is like an elastic string;
If you stretch it long, it may break.
Conflicts in it are like water drops on a hot pan.
Comradeship alone extends its longevity.
Forgiving and ignoring the faults of others,
Set sail on the serene waters of tranquility.
