We should extend a hand,
to the one who has need.
They shouldn’t have to ask,
to beg us or to plead.
For at some point in life,
we may encounter the like.
Then maybe we’ll be told,
to just go take a hike.
When we make mistakes,
others ridicule and shame.
While under secrecy’s cloak,
have often done the same.
An old oft used axiom,
that’s often true and profound.
The saying goes like this,
“what goes around comes around.”
