Comment On Decency And Morality

This ole earth sets its unholy record
as sin is so often celebrated
The bad walk with chins and chest puffed out
streets danger from the inebriated.

Note; My friend Jimmy, died this last weekend due to his driving drunk.
A completely needless act.

Windy nights
without you
This old heart

I remember
part of you

Premium MemberI Should Have Seen It Coming

I should have seen it coming –
but more often the obvious
is yet only viewed through a cloak
of personal affections and
ignorance –

I should have seen it coming

but the heart is a clown
a camp of favorite characters
the real covered-over beneath
enticing glitter of circus-tents and
performance dreams

I should have seen it coming
but light and dark are only
the messengers of vision
love and hate
from the dugout of far deeper passions

And what if one did see it coming?
Is not blindness the free-will choice
of a spirit-soul, God having sent us to earth
oblivious His methods and reasons
giving us literature and faith
in their stead...

Should we think and reason better
than our Maker? Nay!~ Love, needs
no vision, outside itself –

Its own omnipotence and divine
dissolution....

From 11am Till Now 8 Pm, No Electricity

I
Many who heard of Nelson Mandela visited the country in which he (and I) were born. Today I posted about walking or wading through diapers, dog & human doodoo on our roads, many dirt roads, in Newtown, 5720, near Ft. Beaufort. Don't be whitewashed by Google maps & KFC signs.

Power was cut by provider Eskom at 11 am today. It's now 8 pm on Feb 2,:2022. Power has not been restored. The SABC Radio news said we can expect this "loadshedding" through the weekend, till Monday. Welcome to the new, new South Africa. But a great place to spread the light of Jesus & His Word. Shalom shalom & Anen

One Whose Devilish Heart Comes From The Fridge

Why did I write, " I do truly love her"
Carve love lost hope into innocent bark
She that had called me a surly cur
An insult that left a deep hidden mark.

What folly, a black curse that never ends.
O the sheer agony of, "lets' be friends".

This love-storm, its endless revolutions
Far worse than a tempest and a hanging
From dark depths of mankind's evolution
The hard invisible blows still clanging.

What folly, a black curse that never ends.
O the sheer agony of, "lets' be friends".

Insanity- to love so futilely
Live in past dreams - under a falling bridge
Follow along, so damn dutifully
One whose devilish heart comes from the fridge.

What folly, a black curse that never ends.
O the sheer agony of, "lets' be friends".

I'M Here

When the days
Get longer and
Harder to deal with,
Know that I'm
Here to help you
Shoulder your emotions
When you've had
Enough and want
To scream your
Head off, I'll
Be there to
Help cool you
Off afterwards
When all you
Want to do
Is break down
And cry, I'll
Hand you the
Tissues and get
You anything that
You desire
I care about you
And want to
See you happy,
So let me help
And make you
Feel just a
Little bit better,
Just let me
Extend an olive branch
So your life
Can be a tiny
Bit better!

The moon did not show
up in the night sky
Rolling down to light my path
with a car beam
As the stars shone I walked alone
The whole world was fast asleep
An unkempt friend of mine
Walked with me thoughts entwined
And asked to see the hidden world
I had lost within me.

Premium MemberFar and Wide

like father-
I am an explorer
of nature and all creatures

on hikes

far and wild

I discovered my love
and passion for
     forests and fauna_

visits to art galleries-
with grandma is where I found art_

mom loved her garden

far and wild

and from her I grew
   to love flowers growing
in gardens tamed_

but my passion
            it for wildflowers
tangled and weaving_

far and wild

and I have a love
        for meandering _

far
  and
    wild

In this world of heartless consumption

waste of human life to the whipsaw;

never did so little mean so much

when one lonely deer in a field

saw you and you saw him

nothing else mattered...

as neither blinked.

Early morning she found him at three.
Like a deer caught in headlights was he.
His diet was broken.
His wife, now awoken,
Screamed, "AGAIN you are with Sara Lee!"

Summer’s over
fall gone past
the sun’s officially retired
gloom and doom
greyfulness
dreary days
the world is in decay
slowing down
finding time
for introspection
almost anxious
for a sprinkling
of the white stuff
till what joy again
when the sun
decides to bless us
with its gilded glow

The ebony hair alluringly untamed
Some swirl on the trail of squall
Some form enigmatic motif on the forehead
Locking the charisma of the reflected mind
Lest it flies away from the face in the wind.

The almond eyes charmingly unclosed
Design butterfly lattice on fluttering eyelids
Eyelashes align satin strips of the starry sky
Holding the facade of the dreamy vision
Lest it blows away from the face in the wind.

The lecherous lips invitingly unfurled
Don the lilac petals of the sunburst dawn
While dew drops shine with sparkling allure
Shaping the contours of the mystique smile
Lest it withers away from the face in the wind.

The crimson cheeks temptingly unveiled
Spread jasmine scent in the seductive zephyr
Caressing the face with the glow of aurora
Paints the portrait of ethereal glamour
Lest beauty fades away from the face in the wind.

Aroused, we succumb to naked flesh,

skinny-dipping in the pools of our eyes.

               And synchronize our heartbeats with

    the opus of our souls.

Maxwell Smart and wisest Ninety-nine.
One is a boob, the other just fine.

Always on the run.
One is logical, other a whine.
