Premium Member Fascinating Planet

In the galaxy called "Milky Way",
there's a planet Earth where people stay.
It's population, eight billion strong,
and they're always right, never wrong;
and each lives by this dictum,
"Never a perp, always a victim".

Wonders of Fascinating Enigma

The vastness of space is a fascinating enigma;
It mesmerizes everyone who falls into it.
If you fall once, then you will begin to sink.
Nature has fabricated the universe into a paradise,
Even if it accommodates hazards, it reveals the magic.
Similarly, a plant requires a flower for beauty,
Space requires astronauts to view its charms.
Like a beautiful newborn baby every day,
Beautiful newborn celestials every time.
At night, the brightening surface of the moon
Shows how much love spreads when we try to grasp it!
The relationship between astronaut and space flows,
An undefined phenomenon aligning them.
Seeing every star twinkling,
An astronaut's heart twinkles frequently.
As Russia launched Sputnik to explore wonders in space,
The curiosity of the USA led to the launch of Colombia
To view the amazement of space.
As the lion is the king of the jungle,
Similarly, the great space center NASA is the one
That possesses a peak position in eternity!

Premium Member Fascinating

I find it fascinating
That we are all
Temporary
This little life trip seems unnecessary
But its needed
To test your soul
To see if you’ll drink from the toilet bowl
Of this existence that we create
How do you want history to read your fate?
Were you worth something to rate?
Or a result of daddy’s need to masturbate?
He should have launched you in a tissue
You’re really nothing more than an issue
To be ignored
Though I know your bored
You may beg to the Lord
Or fall upon your own sword
That you sharpen
With drug and drink
Quizzical little choice
Don’t yah think?
Too many questions
And few answers to be found
It’s the reality
Of idiocy’s sound
Pass me the chemicals
And pour another round
I need to be numb to put on my shield
It’s the fog of blankness
That I wield
As I wait in the concrete field
And look to the sky
Questioning who, what and why
Waiting to die
To find out if it was all a lie
It is with these thoughts
I breathe a heavy sigh
And pray I receive my wings
As I’m ready to fly

Premium Member Fascinating Shapes

Clouds form fascinating shapes in the sky,
like shapeshifters on a sea of blue:
and I love to watch them go traipsing by.

Some seem magical; that's hard to deny:
for as they silently slip into view,
clouds form fascinating shapes in the sky,

Misty fantasies, clouds seem so nearby;
sculpted in shades of white with a beige hue:
and I love to watch them go traipsing by.

Mobile sculptures and a treat for the eye,
as their misty forms get reborn anew:
clouds form fascinating shapes in the sky.

Beyond mesmerizing, they beautify,
like a flotilla of dreams sailing through:
and I love to watch them go traipsing by.

An armada of skiffs, afloat on high,
ordinary, morphs into something new.
Clouds form fascinating shapes in the sky,
and I love to watch them go traipsing by.

Parents Being Who They Are

T'was in the 1960s in South Africa. There was a brand of sweets that fascinated us young ones. Inside the pocket of sweets were toys - little appealing toys that spoke to us. One would, upon opening theirs, find a caterpillar, a gun wielding soldier or other scintillating wonder! We would have loved our parents to buy us these treasures regularly, but parents being who they are, never shared our enthusiasm. They often told us there was no money. We had to live with this reality! That shop of a white man was a wonderland!

To greet with a smile
Is the best gift
Surpassing any words
Fascinating hearts
And a memory
Imprinted in the hearts
Just because it fetches

And the world
Will become more beautiful

Talking To the Stars

The dawn fall off, night sky arose, I looked up in charm,
Letting my feelings stir up, feeling some warmth in my heart.
"It does feel fascinating up there, getting a glimpse of the world,
Knowing it wouldn't hurt to stay like this forever, doesn't it?"
Little do I know, the star in my gaze got a little sparkled,
Within a blink of an eye, the star got displaced from its origin.

The star with the tail answered my curiosity, that glimpse of the world
must be terrifying when you are alone, at a place where no one can reach.
It might not hurt to stay after all, but it floats away carelessly in the sky,
Some unheard wishes were still left to hear, some unshared feelings were still left to share.

Premium Member A Fascinating Contraption

An umbrella is a fascinating contraption
An apparatus with unparalleled import,
It has evolved through many an adaption
So let us never, inadvertently, sell it short.
The English, yes, they call it a bumbershoot
And for years I didn’t know why, but it is,
A combination of umbrella and parachute
Quite extraordinarily sensible, gee whiz.
I have lost twenty or thirty in my lifetime
Not needing it when I am ready to leave
Since it isn’t raining, ‘tis certainly no crime,
Needing it again, though, it’s such a peeve.

Premium Member Fascinating Palmistry

A mystical cross on the inside of your palm
Means your life is foretold in a glorious psalm.

Lucky bracelet rings around your dainty wrist
Means you were created in energy’s mist.

If you palm looks like she’s been sliced in half
Right down the middle, get the fatted calf.

The lifeline which sails widely around your thumb
Cuts in quite deeply, means you are not too dumb.

The heartline across the top chooses her finger.
If she stops at the pointer, marriage will be a zinger.

Headline in the middle between heart and life
Each nick across indicates a tiny bit of strife.

Stars and whorls, crosses, and well-cut lines.
Palm knowledge is as cherished as Pharaoh’s gold mines.
