The sparkle of indigo lagoon,
portrayed in the entranced ebullient eyes,
the lustrous lotus petals of luscious lips,
blooming on the fervent face,
carved once with narcissistic contours of pride,
ingrained the subdued Dorian Gray syndrome.
The winter spider of twilight has weaved
webs with facial furrows of faded charm,
the lips of pale flower have lost
the patina of passion, enticing once.
The smoky eyes now gaze forlorn
from the wall of the empty parlor.
The picture with the instilled aura of stilled time
doesn’t encase the anguish of loss,
for it epitomizes the notion,
what is a face if not a metaphor
for the panorama of proclivity,
the enduring snapshot of mesmeric moment,
captured within the timeless elegant frame
of untarnished concealed charisma.

If we believe life is a circle
where the end of one journey
is the beginning of the next
Today I’m thankful for donuts
because…
Nothing epitomizes that belief
more than a donut does

Our views and sorrows are mirrored in life.
Each jagged shard epitomizes some strife.
Our wounds, sufferings, and personality,
It will include one's beliefs and morality.
Are we netting insight or primarily existing?
Veins would shiver with shattered feelings.
The sharp edges puncture into the intact body.
A wrecked heart squall for plenty and vitality.
Inside the proper limits of a selfish quiddity.
Contemplations from one's own perspective.
Moving good faith grips to a broke history.
Surprising yet rather fiery and lively festive.
In fear of what I can view, I won't stare in the mirror.
My fierce peek and jagged shards scold a sinner.

SubSaharan Bride:
There was a huge everlasting impression
As he unveiled her with great fascination
Firstly, in a fantasy of his vivid emotions
She becomes his past, present and future
Lastly, with bliss and high degree passion
Saying “I do”, she totes his nomenclature
She symbolizes the beauty of simplicity
As she epitomizes the simplicity of beauty
She is the pearl gem on a prized ornament
And a crown trophy of an epic tournament
Her panache heals wounds like bandages
As her aura speaks all the love languages
She is by far the most beautiful creature
In all the vast lands of Sub Saharan Africa
With unique, elegant and heavenly features
She outshines the portrait of the Mona Lisa
The glow and glitter from her sparkly eyes
Brings wonder to Welcomes and Goodbyes
True love knows not your past situation
Nor cares about your present location
It will find you even in your self isolation
It will subdue your denials and hesitation
It will revitalize your focus and dedication
In the end, Congratulations and Jubilation

October is the season of fall
Everything from tree does fall
Solitary it stands calm and tall
Epitomizes highest goal of all
Bare tree represents state of liberation
No procession, thoughts, feelings
Mental stillness, no earthly dealings
Happily witnessing soul salvation
October picturizes death and life
All born will die it does say
Only to be reborn another day
Transient is everything in life
Don't be attached it clearly does lay
Practice equanimity in dualities of life
Hold on to hope in all your strife
Keep faith steady, don't let mind sway
Eternal soul is your real entity
You should not bother about triviality
About world you should maintain neutrality
And try to realise your soul, your actuality,

Sometimes I wonder about nature’s mysteries…
how there is so much I can’t explain?
Like why the sand dunes can be heard to sing
or how flowers anticipate the rain.
Like how the sun rises to greet the day
and how at night it bids adieu.
Like how there is a rhythm to the waves
or how the sky epitomizes blue.
Like how a stream can talk to you.
Like how dew drops nestle in the grasses.
Like how clouds can change right before our eyes
or how leaves shiver as a cool breeze passes.
Like how life can flourish in the most unlikely places.
Like how the ocean can be so wide.
Like the boisterous sound of crows in flight
or the silence of a pelican’s glide.
Like the sheer force of thunder and lightning
as they announce a summer squall.
Like how a rainbow stretches across the sky.
Like the the wonder of a waterfall…
But then again when I stop to think about it
I don’t really want to know
what makes the flowers smile
what makes the cool winds blow
because as I look around me…
as out on nature my eyes gaze
I don’t want to know her secrets….
I prefer to be amazed.

Summer Romance
A summer romance warms the chill of Fall,
enticing lips to touch in deep caress.
You hear the rhythmic song of crickets’ call
which quickens nature’s fiber in your breast.
Days are long and life moves in slow fashion
with dripping sweat of yearning in your thighs.
Sizzling night scenes of unbridled passion,
drift on flowered, perfumed air and fireflies
Heatwaves entice many lustful notions
as flames grow higher from those sudden storms.
Lightning bursts electrify emotions
and heart’s desire is ever growing strong.
A summer romance rises in degrees
tempting love that cannot be denied.
On moonlit shadows and a sultry breeze
the blasé mind is truly mystified.

Basic foundation of a basic shape
Triangle as the first layer
Of Understanding
Prism as the finest layer
Of Creation
When in motion it expresses rhythm
Standing still It immortalizes vision
Of articulating communications
Of evoking interactions
Of realizing the sign & symbol
Translated
Into a vertical infinite motion
Inviting appreciator
To be part of the forces
To go beyond realization
Vertical dynamics
Motion and movement
The stillness of
Isomorphic variations
In pursuit of finding correlations between things that may have once seemed separate
where simplicity breeds complexity and when energy epitomizes its own fields of existence
Let the city commences its dialogue
Between steels, greens, and everything in between
Pictorial linearity
a much welcomed sight
of such landscape ambience

I have the greatest admiration for it
Though every one usually dislike it
It exemplifies indifference to the hilt
That makes it an extraordinary beast.
It is often seen standing nonchalantly
Suffering the woes heaped on it coolly
Without troubling anybody absolutely
Deserve treatment by all benevolently.
Neither protest about the harsh treatment
Nor challenge the owner’s punishment
Does the work assigned without dissent
That certainly epitomizes great restraint.
Unmindful of the vagaries of environment
Eating whatever is available as remnant
Yet forever ready for the job any moment
It keeps going without becoming poignant.
It does practice philosophy without preaching
From whom humans must receive a coaching
To lead life in the face of worries approaching
Is the reward it awaits humbly with no craving?

Her words flow like glorious music
In perfect time.
Her sonnets gift us with special words
In lovely rhyme.
A lady with the kind of style that
Epitomizes the beauty and grace
With the countenance of
A glowing poet’s face.
Brilliant words filled with imagery and emotion
Her poetry cannot help but inspire
Other growing poets with
A yearning desire.
Andrea is always right there
As she sets the best example of poetry
With outstanding grammar,
She teaches endlessly.
Andrea is my finest friend and confidant.
We who are blessed to read her poetry
Are enlightened by her symbiotic words
In perfect harmony.

The feeling of getting rocked for the first time is
like losing your virginity. How I rise from the producers
decides if I like going down or hate getting up.
Yeah, they saw it. Eyes on me. The ubiquitous
air is still hear. My ascetic body
still functions on this field of men.
Fighting for friends, flying around full speed.
Go! Go! Go! Epitomizes our support.
The brain yells stop, but the heart whispers fight.
Hard work minus teamwork equals intact pants.
Hard work plus teamwork squared equals a smile.
Perspiration in the eye, never felt better.
The weakest link of our chain better power up
because he who pays the piper will call this tune.
Turns out, I couldn’t cry over spilt milk, if it didn’t spill.
As celebratory we were, we endeavor to looked opportunity
in the eye and purloin her work clothes,
before she is out of sight and out of mind

We may have had none, one, two, or more
Intricate mistakes we quell to adore
Unconsciously transcending perfidy from the heart
Counterfeit penitent that epitomizes the start
Remiss to the love that ensure no art
Mad that it happened, we wish it never did
We tried to intact the emotions that we hid
Until we hackneyed three words for bid
“I love you” manifest the aspersion for real
When the heart cajoled its life to kill
