Our views and sorrows are mirrored in life. Each jagged shard epitomizes some strife. Our wounds, sufferings, and personality, It will include one's beliefs and morality. Are we netting insight or primarily existing? Veins would shiver with shattered feelings. The sharp edges puncture into the intact body. A wrecked heart squall for plenty and vitality. Inside the proper limits of a selfish quiddity. Contemplations from one's own perspective. Moving good faith grips to a broke history. Surprising yet rather fiery and lively festive. In fear of what I can view, I won't stare in the mirror. My fierce peek and jagged shards scold a sinner.

These are truly powerful lines my friend Lasaad - we are afraid to look into the mirror for fear it tells us truths we keep buried even from ourselves. Your poetic thinking is poignant deep and truly profound. Best wishes for a win, Hugs blessings, Jennifer

Excellent expressive introspection Lasaad, your use of language is off the scale, can anyone really look in the mirror without seeing shards, I certainly can’t, top poem for the contest, cheers David

The line a wrecked heart squall was especially significant to my understanding Of the evidence wrought when our wreckage is our barometer of what we are mirroring into the world either through our associates as we mimic,or the reflections of our own false reflections ego.I believe it best to look inward at the person in our own mirror held solidly in the hall of conscience to lesson the force of Gale winds.Beautiful piece of work Sotto Poet.
