There's a dream world I go to, where the wild rivers flow. 

A dream world where true love lives, and always welcomes me.

The encounters so far are so short, fleeting but so sweet.
The encounters are full of cordiality in every meet.
The encounters may not matter but I will always remember.

First encounters in the past two decades.
18.1.2009, A helped me to move in my quarter. 
A decade of caring friendship and neighbors.
He taught and loved me unconditionally.
Fifteen years and six days later,

My Encounters With Racism and Accusations of Racial Priviledge

It was 2019 when someone accused me of being in denial of the privileges I had as a white man.  At the time I felt uncomfortable with this. I didn't understand how I had any advantage socially or economically over black people. I knew how I felt about racism, I had seen examples of

Some people are just uncomfortable
She is putting on a smile
under her mask
I don’t know if it’s her
or it’s me

Even her son’s spirit
seems lost to the horizon
They are no strangers

Some people hurry
and still
make me feel safe
mask or no mask

There is a message
tucked away
behind one’s flesh

I can meet a stranger
even have a quick

He his sight touches me
Ever so gentle she stares at me
