apparently, an angelic apparition appeared
bedraggled beauty befuddling and beguiling Beau
crafty cadaverous creature credibly crème de la crème
deceptively decent, deferential, deliberately delicate
effortless easing efficacious etiquette and eloquence
fancied phantom fascinating fawns and fey in fairyland
Shamed by being unprepared, bewildered, befuddled,
I watch nature transition to twilight, ever so aplomb,
with birds and mammals crepuscular, they're at their prime,
when the daylight fades to muted at twilight time.
Birds calls echo like searchlights looking for a mate,
as the sun casts red and orange beams into the clouded sky.
The shadows grow to long and menacing fingers
stretching across the landscape as silhouette puppets
that play on the walls, efficacious and audacious.
Now the day has begun to fade into night.
I tend to nap and daydream in this half-life twilight
betwixt between, black and white, day and night.
Switching off, muting and blurring my attention,
until something in Nature jolts me awake,
like an alarm clock, making me bolt up, alarmed.
With heart racing, my distraction disarmed,
shaken and stirred, awakened and disturbed,
I take notice of the gentle glow and flow of twilight,
and see what I would otherwise have missed.
My spiritual vulnerability
to feel persuaded
and powers to persuade
emerge curiously informed
by Others speaking suggestions
and my own inside power digestions
not yet said out loud,
uproarious
Yet co-arising
from life's multi-generational crowd
EarthDay choir
cyber cloud
singing and dancing every day
for Earth's integral potential,
sacramental organic health
reproducing GREEN capitalized wealth,
fabulously non fatuous
inside
as outside
nuturingly nutritious
above
as below
delightfully delicious
Suggestions that land
sync
resonate
with percussive persuasion,
efficiently efficacious.
Like
"Maybe you need appreciation
for who you are
already?"
non vindictively victorious
Maybe I want
more integrity,
synergy,
positive neurosystemic
organic
healthy
sacred holonic energy?
non glamorously glorious.

Splendiferous, the birth of each new morn
as sunshine glows above the mountain crest-
while rays of light come forth as it is born,
I stir from efficacious full night's rest.
Empyrean, my thoughts of a fresh start!
So glorious to have another chance;
to meliorate my day- serve with my heart-
attend, with kindness, every circumstance.
Then lie at night once more for restful sleep-
until for sun, those darkest hours resign,
homologate more joys of life to reap;

What have you heard of me oh friend?
Those who can’t beat my reach complain so silly
my description, exchanging mouths but of weight, its devoid
giving the street a diluted colour so ill-founded.
What have you heard of me oh friend?
Every shadow is seen as mine to give light words clarity
for God sake! I’m just underneath the tree
spoilers of my name preach b’cos they can’t see my base.
What have you heard of me my friend?
They are pained because I’m unperturbed and spirited
false sentences have spent a heavy budget to be efficacious
it’s not an experiment, I’m too large for their vivarium
oh friend, what have you done by embracing their culture?
Whatever you’ve heard of me friend,
you’ve joined the labourers to build my ruin
my heart is soiled, from your presence I’ve quarantined
I cried until the graveyard consoles me with its threat.
It’s a pity to me, it’s a pity to you my friend
you’ve not only heard but also said of me.

In a world of chaos cascading, calamitous and crude,
Two birds in flight, amongst the vultures breeding brood...
They fly above majestic mountains and seductive cityscapes,
As they avoid predators with elusive elaborate escapes.
They then settle a while on bowing bending branches,
Against the wondrous wind and take comfort in their chances...
Their freedom finds them battling with the grinding grain,
With warring wounds as they fight and flutter to abstain.
The trusting trembling trees sustain a savory silent serene,
As they anxiously await their perching King and Queen...
Like the efficacious eloquent eagle and divine diving dove,
Two birds in passion, binding within their longing lasting love.

oft times brutal not so short,
but nasty acknowledgement,
(this anonymous, conscientious, efficacious...
frivolous gent writhes at bloody history),
yet mindful premeditated how to be worthy,
and now feels forced to be acquiescent
(as well other citizens might) calling
(er...actually writing), an August
aegis body vowing to be adherent
to codas, doctrine, ethos...adjacent
with government sanctioned destruction,
and indefinite adjournment
of peaceful coexistence with native peoples,
who never accepted unfair (raw deal) adjustment
(most often forced with violence) preceded,
and/or followed by admonishment
of aggressive, corrosive, deceptive...
indiscriminate butchering and adolescent
women and children,
an irrevocable Janus-faced advancement
fate awaiting all aboriginal tribes
fueled by advertisement frequently with bounty
fast forward to present age of affluent
price tag to lobby and or represent
deliberate gerrymandered voting districts,
where trumped up agent orange
iz new black aggrandizement
finds Donny Brooks saturing the media
with proclamation defamation of this very day
stigmatizing valuable news as so subtly "FAKE"!
If your ego is capacious
Or your appetite voracious
For a plucky, pertinacious
Confidence in cherished creeds,
Then your genius, though sagacious,
Conjures arguments audacious
Never seeing they’re fallacious:
Truth be told, you’re in the weeds.
Your disease: a contumacious
Predilection for tenacious
Relics of the late Cretaceous
Buried deep within your soul.
Now the clash of clues vexatious
Shows your self-made strait hellacious;
Still your will proves efficacious
To maintain your status quo.
In the face of facts veracious
When your mood is disputatious
You remain unfazed, pugnacious,
With your slowly dying breed.
Your rebuttals wax loquacious
To escape the perspicacious
But they seem a mite mendacious
To the few who pay them heed.
Though my grousing is ungracious
And my rhyming ostentatious
I won’t stoop to be salacious
For the horror’s grim and cold:
While your heart still soars flirtatious,
Charmed by pterosaurs predacious,
Laxness leaves your brain crustaceous,
Drying, hardening in its mold.
Greed Has a Dinner Party
Evil seething greed sits down to dinner with his guests.
He serves them humungous helpings of hubris for an appetizer to set the mood of the evening.
For the main course, he mesmerizes them with tales of his ambition and success and piles them on his own plate, yet he serves the guests-somewhat less.
He explains they must be more like him to get even more. He assures them that they have the makings to be just like him.
Dessert is of course licentiously sweet self-serving compliments for all and the promise that if they took everything they wanted in life, without concern for anyone but themselves, they would be most efficacious.
After dinner, he says goodbye. Then he grins as they pass by the urn containing Icarus’s ashes on their way out the door.
