As the world unfurls
In REMbrandt's muddy pastel
Little Susie curls her knees
right on cue, credence that
there's clear water here, a
revival of Hawkins and
Burton's swamp spell

When I tried to leave her
dream, she called back:
'Freddy, come save me'
I know that it's cruel to
replace her, though her
night terrors are negotiated,
I awaken her fears

You can see and even feel a touch that isn't real
Your thoughts and actions are well played out
Waking up and remembering what it's all about
Dreaming of past decisions and present regrets 
Making a big promise to someone you never met

By day my dreams go drifting
of their own design
I find my mind wandering
down to the waterline
for a change of scene

leave all cares behind

'I'd paint rainbows with VIBGYOR,' said my child.
My Violet, with whims, will be beguiled.
Indigo will inflame wisdom with zest.
With the garb of calmness, Blue will be dressed.

Euphony will adorn my grassy Green.
In blonde Yellow, vibration will be seen.
With vibrancy, the Orange will be graced.
With love and passion, my Red will be traced.
